Der Strand ist fußläufig, zum Einkaufen würden wir das Auto empfehlen. Die Hosts sind richtig klasse und total hilfsbereit. Wir würden wiederkommen! Leider gab es keine Kaffeemaschine.

The place felt very homely, and the host made the experience truly exceptional. - The property was fully equipped for a family with kids—very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The property managers were absolutely amazing. We did encounter cockroaches during all three days of our stay. After the first day, we were assured that the apartment had recently been pest controlled, and Carolyn promptly provided insect spray, which we appreciated.
Carl1973oz (9/5): Great apartments, great hosts, great location! - I highly recommend Surfers Chalet for any occasion whether it be a family holiday or a getaway with friends. The Hosts are warm and friendly and nothing is a bother. The apartments are well appointed, modern and clean and located close to the Northcliffe Surf Club (perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner and a great place for a drink) and only a 10min walk to the heart of Surfers Paradise and a short drive to the Broadbeach bar and restaurant precinct. I can't wait to stay again! This is an easy one to answer. There was nothing I disliked. Trust me... you'll have a great time.

Yvette (10/5): Ontzettend genoten! - Fantastische host die je heel welkom laat voelen. We kregen een upgrade waardoor we een heerlijk ruim appartement hadden. De locatie is echt perfect! Helaas troffen wij de laatste avond een kakkerlak in onze kamer. Nu kan dit voorkomen in de Gold Coast en de kamer was verder wel echt goed schoon.

We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches — all the keys were manual, each room had a mezuzah, and the fridge was meushar for Shabbat. It was also a great plus that the apartment is very close to the shul. These details made us feel right at home. Thank you!

Our apartment was spacious with a lovely sea view. Carolyn and Garry couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. A minor niggle would be the apartment was a bit dated but it was still very comfortable and met all our needs.
Nina (8/5): We had a lovely time at Thornton Tower, thank you! - Proximity to the beach was excellent, free parking available, care takers were super friendly and helpful. Spacious rooms, beautiful balcony with sunset views. The spare bed was very, very hard and it couldn’t be made softer with additional blankets. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen, however coming by plane we couldn’t use it as we had no oil, spices/herbs and condiments.

Loved the location can walk to the Surfers Paradise Centre and 2 minutes at the beach. The unit feels like a home away from home. It was a short-lived wish we stayed longer. Hopefully next time.

Carole (10/5): Exceptional - Great hosts Carolyn kept in contact with us during horrendous journey from Mackay. Room was light and bright with large picture windows and patio door. Great size room with well equipped kitchen, large dining table and comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms were good size and for once plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Nice to have washer and dryer. On site parking is a bonus. Pool are is kept spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi which is at just nice temperature. Personal touches ie hand written notes and some sweets left on arrival and departure. Location is excellent with beach over the road and a 5 mknute stroll along the esplanade brings you into the centre. Wouldn't hesitate recommending these apartments. Would have liked a bigger balcony area but not the end of the world.
