• Bell (7/5): - The location was good had lovely views from every windiw. They need to get new beds . There wasn't any teaspoons. Need to put hair-dryer in the bathroom. The shower head wasn't very good and run out of hot water quick.

• Andrew (10/5): Really comfortable & relaxing stay. - Amazing views, loved the balcony view over the harbour & city, very spacious, all kitchen facilities for a long stay, safe & secure, really comfortable beds, showers & sofas. A great place to relax and enjoy, and is kind of central to the theme parks & city activities. Facilities a bit old, washer/dryer didn’t function properly.

Under the covers they are falling apart. Very disappointing. The master bedroom bed is much the same and the mattress sags and is uncomfortable.

There was no bath tub plug, damage to the apartment walls, dusty curtains, rubbish left in the apartment (aged cigarette left in wardrobe and empty tampon bag in the drawer) The fire escape door handle had fallen off.

• Sonya (8/5): Great location if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of Surfers, perfect-sized for a family - We liked the view out to the water, it was close to the theme parks, where we spent a lot of our time. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself was very spacious for our family of four, and it was great to have the washing machine to be able to do some washing, as well as a full-sized kitchen, and a huge living area. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony. It was good to have parking included. Some of the air vents in the bathrooms were dusty and hadn't been cleaned for a while. Unfortunately, during our stay, the pool was undergoing renovations, so we were unable to use it. We had been informed a little over a week before we arrived, which was too late for us to seek alternate accommodation.

• Kylie (10/5): A relaxing and enjoyable stay with stunning views and a great location—perfect for making family memorie - The location was absolutely perfect with beautiful water views from the balcony. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it ideal for our family stay. It was close to everything we needed, including shops, restaurants, and theme parks. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it really made our Queensland trip feel special. Unfortunately, the pool and spa were unavailable due to maintenance during our stay, and we were not informed of this prior to arrival, which was quite disappointing as it was something we were really looking forward to. There were also a few minor things that could be improved, such as some areas needing a little maintenance and better attention to detail with cleaning, especially the bathroom, black mould In the silicone, few places very dusty.

BELOW ARE THE PICTURES OF WHAT WE EXPECTED VS WHAT WE GOT (1st photo is what was expected) As we checked in we were given the first floor which looked nothing like what we had booked and was right next to Jack hammering coming from the renovations in the pool area. We then confronted the staff in reception and I showed her the photos of what we booked and explained that the room we got was not the right room. She hesitated to put us in another room but eventually we got the new keys. Headed to floor 11 and still it was not what we booked. Great views but nothing in the apartment matched the online pictures. As we got settled into our room, I then got a phone call from reception asking if we could leave a good review because she changed our room... on further inspection we noticed the bin wasn't emptied and had rubbish in it, glasses were dirty and covered in dirty marks and prints. No privacy curtains in the main dining room, just sheer curtains which means any of the buildings facing is could see in, phone is diconnected and when we went to check out after our stay, no staff were available as it was all closed up at 8:30am on a weekday. Unfortunately we will not be booking/staying there again due to these reasons. Apart from the view, we did not enjoy our stay.
• Matti & Sher Tuominen (5/5): Incredible views, good location but the apartment not well equipped & needs some money spent on it. - The views from the apartment were really excellent and the location good, just across the street to the beach. Parking facilities were good. The beds were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The single bed I slept in was just a foam block and the bed-skirt torn and hanging off at the bottom end, the curtains didn’t close properly. The main bedroom mattress was lumpy and old. Fridge had not been cleaned properly and the kitchen poorly equipped. There was some mould in the bathrooms. The mugs in the kitchen were an absolute disgrace and looked like they had never been washed - we went out and bought some to use. Only one tiny piece of soap provided in each bathroom, no other toiletries, one towel and no hand towel. The owner needs to spend a few dollars.

We were not advised about maintenance schedules regarding the pool and we were not able to use it, it would have been good to know about this before booking the property as we were looking forward to use the pool. 😡 Also fire detector in main room was beeping all night , starting around midnight. We stayed for 3 nights and we only have one roll of toilet paper for each toilet. 😆😆

Pool was getting a refurb, and wasn't advised. couple of basic maintenance within the property - light bulb needs replacing in bedroom, ice machine in frig wouldn't open.

Was expecting to be cool at night on the Gold Coast - Bedrooms were HOT (Fans only and they were noisy) When you search for aircon they should describe which room it is in. Smoke Detector started beeping at 6AM and contacted the Manager - Was not fixed by checkout. Was VERY annoying.
• Michelle (8/5): - The location was perfect! Walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious. Secure underground car parking. Check in-out was very easy. The apartment advertising was listed as being on a higher floor but the actual apartment was on the ground floor. There are some really basic maintenance issues that need resolving eg: the exhaust fan in the ensuite was not working, the down lights in the lounge were all flickering, the privacy louvres on the balcony door were off their tracks and were difficult to close. There is only one aircon in the whole apartment and it needs a good clean. We did have an issue with the smoke detector in the main bedroom beeping in the late evening. The onsite manager came and removed it straight away after I had messaged them, which we were very thankful for.

• Fareedah (7/5): Avoid the superior 2 bedroom - It was modern Paid 580 dollars for 2 nights off peak in February. Check in was hard. They didn't find my name and said I didn't have a booking. Finally was found after I wrote my name down on paper. Was shown a room off reception on the ground level. Was told to park in our room number carpark but the property manager had parked there already. Had to park somewhere else then move the car again later. What I booked showed me a view on a higher level. Which is false advertising. Extremely disappointed. I expressed my concerns and was told it was one of the better apartments as the others are not refurbished, I asked if anything on a higher level was available as I booked in November last year. She said no. It was booked out. We had to accept it as no refunds. One little air conditioning in the wrong spot which done little to cool down the space. No air con in the bedrooms which received all the afternoon sun and was backed onto the pool, couldn't open windows as everyone could then see into our rooms. The ensuite didn't even have a soap holder for the soap in the shower or sink. Didn't sleep as it was so hot. The couch was old and sunk into it when sat on. The remote had sticky tape on the batteries so when you tried to work it you had to wiggle it to turn it on. Fire alarm started beeping, I rung reception, which was closed (during opening hours)and pressed a number to go to the property manager 'keith' which didn't answer and left message. It kept beeping more and more so we had to use the controls to make it stop which set the alarm off which was stressful. The floors were dirty. Stains. I wouldn't go back after expecting a higher leveled unit advertised. Didn't have a good time. Didn't sleep well. Lights didn't turn on in the lounge room they flickered. Didn't relax at all. Couldn't wait to go home. Don't recommend it at all.

Also the mattresses were very uncomfortable and need replacing. The carpet in the second bedroom was soiled and unclean.

• Chris (6/5): We would stay again, the views are amazing, the apartment spacious, the location good but … - Location was great, overlooking the ocean, big windows, verandah. Reception was really good. Apartment presented really well being spacious and modern. Furniture did the job being neither too much or too little. Lift keyed to floor and parking was allocated so no issues. Aircon worked well and quietly. Kitchen well equipped. Water had no odour or taste so good to drink. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Bathrooms good and clean. Details were concerning such as sheer curtain in dining area falling apart with big rips due to weathering. Didn’t notice this initially until trying to close it. Oven and exhaust very greasy and need a good clean, smelled of oil. Glass Stove top needed stains removed. Queen mattress cheap, hard and bouncy and every move of partner disturbed sleep quality. Blanket on queen bed was a single. Some lamps didn’t work due to poor location of PowerPoints and lack of extension leads. Bathroom needed footmat and hand towel. Due to salt exposure windows and doors hard to open/close, this is a Body Corp issue and probably affects the entire building being on the ocean front. When the wind is strong as it was our first day, it whistles through poor closures and is very noisy in some rooms which would disturb anyone sleeping in them.

Not as clean as it should be. Dishwasher was very smelly! Hair on toilet, in bathroom drawers and on lounge. Range hood filter was so greasy. I got a cup out and it had lipstick marks on it. There’s a sign by the sink that says wash up but there was no tea towels to dry up. Also you have to take out all your rubbish.

The Property was not cleaned properly , rooms were dusty and dirty, fans on the rooms very dirty, we had to clean everything on arrival, not toiletries provided, not enough towels, not air condition on the rooms, not able to sleep. extremely hot .. curtains not working properly and dusty.. We had to put up with sunlight .. We found different insects at the property .. Things listed at the property like heated pool and spa .. not there .. in every holiday apartment I had been provided with enough towels shampoo and conditioner and shower gel, toilet paper, tissues… but at this property was not provided We had to go shopping for that .. We were happy before arriving, but our happiness fade when We saw the property in bad condition. .. the seats of the lounge suite smelled bad . I would like to be compensated or to have some refund, as my Holiday good mood was shattered , and felt embarrassed with my guests at the apartment and facilities for the bad condition .. I think We were given the wrong apartment as the photos showed different furniture .. lounge suite very uncomfortable and smelled very bad ..

We found 2 nails in our tyre on New Year’s Day. The car was parked in the secured parking. One was screwed into our tyre and the other was a nail straight in the tyre. This was very concerning. It was the only thing that ruined our stay. There were no cameras in the carpark to see if it was a malicious act. This was the only thing that ruined our stay

The view was impeccable and made the stay even more special. Everything was well thought out, and there was even an air fryer, which was a great bonus. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Only one dishwashing tablet for 3 night stay

Only 1 air con in the unit. The bedrooms were quite hot especially the 2nd bedroom. Air con didn’t go down the hallway and the expanse of glass in the bedroom made it quite stifling to sleep in during summer. Fans circulated hot air.

The views were fantastic, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck....until the two male guests in the apartment on our LHS started smoking drugs and cigarettes. All was pretty well perfect until then. The garage space is generous as well, and just a couple of minutes walk to cafes and restaurants We would definitely stay here again. Easy walk to Surfers, if that's of interest to you.. We stayed for two nights on the 1st of December until the 3rd on the 9th floor, apartment 922 . As mentioned above, the neighbours, two males, smoked drugs on their deck, and it all wafted into our apartment. It was very strong, so we had to shut our doors and then went for a walk to escape it. Frankly, if you need an artificial high in life, you go for it, but we don't want to share your addiction by default. When we returned, we could still smell it in our apartment, but they had then moved on to cigarettes. Sadly, I hate that smell as well, and yet again it's drifting into our apartment, so we closed up the doors again and turned on the A/C.. Fortunately, these neighbours moved on the next morning, and the new guests were as quiet and considerate. The joys of travel and inconsiderate people. I wish the apartment was a total smoke-free zone like so many others. Just a mention for the owners of this apartment, the joinery really does need to be replaced. The front sliders are very dodgy.

• David (8/5): Amazing views in a really nice location - The view were stunning . Apartment was much bigger than expected. Beds were comfortable Tv needs replacing big line down the screen and recliner chairs don't recline
• Graham (8/5): Overall an excellent place to have a short visit - No air conditioning in the bedroom. Quality of sound in TV was very poor.
• Kerrie (9/5): Would definitely stay again, but ask for a room with air con in bedroom and a higher floor. - Location was fantastic. Right across the road from the Broadwater with great views. Apartment appeared to have been recently, tastefully renovated. It was large with plenty of room and had a lovely terrace with table and chairs to enjoy the view. Within walking distance to good cafes and hotel for easy option for meals. No air con in bedroom (only fan) which made it warm as air con from living area did not reach bedroom. Ground floor was not as private as a higher floor but OK for our two night stay.
