• Nadja (6/5): - The location close to snapper rocks was great. Only about a 10min walk. The pool area was great, the water was clean and no strong chlorine smell, the spa was warm. The beds were comfy. The apartment was pretty dated, especially the bathrooms. The carpets seemed very dusty, we had to sneeze a lot during our stay there. There were no doonas on the beds and the blankets were not warm enough.

• Sandi (9/5): - Lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment - with a much appreciated full laundry in the apartment. Plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery etc. Located at the far end of the main road, but easily walkable into town. Bus stops very handy.

Also the location was great being right across the road from the beach and lots of restaurants The stairs to the room with all our luggage and kids and there was rubbish under beds and couches from previous people that had stayed.

Laundry facility in apartment was well equipped and very useful for our family with kids. Limited internet. Dining chairs were useless as you could hardly sit on them. Since the place was built in the 80's it has not been refurbished. Carpet felt sticky when walking on it. Kitchen laminate was melted and peeling up. Stovetops overused and worn. Pots and pans were frown under the sink under the drain pipe. Lastly the bathtub had not been cleaned for 100 years it was that dirty. Shower was okay.

My son surfed Snapper Rocks most days and just across the road from the beach and surf club. The bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable and we didn’t get many supplies for a 9 night stay (bin liners, dishwashing tablets, toilet rolls, etc)

• Mrs SMITH1 (7/5): Superb Location - Fabulous location, patrolled beach and surf club straight across the road. A small walk to the esplanade of Coolangatta for eating, shopping and entertainment. The villa was roomy and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Nice pool and bbq area with gas bbqs. A nice complex with lots of potential. Units just need some updating/TLC/maintenance. I would stay there again as the location was superb. Our check in process was disappointing. We arrived early (around 12pm) after a 4hr drive and asked if our room was ready. We were told it was not yet ready as it was being cleaned and that it wouldn't be too much longer at which time we would receive a text message to advise it was ready. That was fine, early check ins aren't always possible. We went to get some groceries and have lunch. We returned at 2pm (check in time as advertised in all communication from the venue) and were told yet again that the room was not ready and still being cleaned. Friends we were travelling with were also waiting on their room to be ready. Our room was finally ready around 2:30pm. We proceeded to the room - be warned, if you're considering the split level villa and struggle with stairs, think again. Ground level is your friend. The kitchen was stocked with random items for cooking/preparing food, and a broken coffee cup. A messy bottom draw full of odd bits and pieces. Considering we were waiting over 2hrs for our room to be cleaned, we were disappointed to find dirty cushion covers, sand and dust on the dining chairs and fan blades caked in dust. Gas bbqs were great but an outdoor sink would be handy to help with the cleaning process. Units seem dated and in need of some TLC. Door stoppers falling off doors, faulty shower heads, toilet roll holders very loose and poorly fitted, screen doors not even on the rails in one unit. Lots of small details that could be easily fixed.

Pool lovely. Parking secure downstairs. No issues with the property. I’m still waiting to have the $200 holding amount returned back to my bank account and it’s now been a week. I’ve emailed administration and they said it’s sorted their end, but speaking to my bank they say it’s property end.

Walked everywhere, bus stop close by, as were restaurants, surf club and food shops. We think we had the best room, ground floor, opposite the beautifully kept pool. Rooms air conditioned, really good sizes. Bathroom big, modern. Bed, pillows, comfy. Kitchen stocked with all utensils etc. Washer, drying facilities in the apartment were great. Neil, the Manager was friendly, helpful and maintained the property every day. We loved our stay.
