Renee (10/5): Spacious and spectacular! - It was spacious with comfortable beds and a quiet but handy location. Nice water views from main bedroom and living areas.
Natasha (4/5): Don't be mis-led like we were - The location of the apartment is great and good to have parking on site. The area is very quiet but yet only a short walk into Surfer's Paradise. Having the whole floor to ourselves was good, with plenty of room for an extended family group. However, those are the only good things I can say. When booking a Penthouse-style apartment with 'city views' that is what we expected to get. However we were on Level 1 with a view that only looked into the apartments across the road. When we tried to discuss this with the Property Manager, Seven he was rude and unhelpful. We feel the description of this property is false and VERY misleading. The apartment was very, very dirty. With stains on carpets in every room, stains on the curtains and curtains hanging down from the rails. The apartment was missing so many of the basics - there were no pool towels provided until we asked, very few toiletries, no bedside lamps, no shelves in the shower for soap, very limited kitchen utensils (no bottle opener for example). There was no servicing of the apartment over our 4 day stay. For almost $1000 per night we would expect a much higher standard of cleanliness and supplies. After taking a lot of time to research properties in the area, we were really disappointed with our stay.
Kerrin (10/5): Breathtaking views day and night, and a clean, spacious, quiet and private apartment for a wonderful place to holiday a - This apartment was perfect for our stay. It was very spacious and the views from inside and on the balcony were incredible. Having 4 bedrooms plus 4 bathrooms were a bonus and the laundry was really useful. The host Seven kept in touch and it was easy to find our way up to the top floor of this amazing apartment. Having the whole floor to,ourselves made it very private and it was also very quiet. It was within a short walking distance to the beach, some shops, cafes and restaurants plus the tram to take you to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. The pool was handy for a refreshing dip too. We had a wonderful holiday at Surfers Paradise topped off by staying at the Lotus Resort. Loved it all.

Hansika (7/5): Great location and room but very poor communication. - The room was very spacious and was very comfortable. It was perfect for our stay. There was a bathroom for each bedroom which was amazing. Everything was very clean. There was minimal utensils/ cutlery in the kitchen. Unfortunately the communication with the property was highly disappointing. Even for check in- to get the code for the hotel it took several calls and texts to get through. One of the guests left her charger at the property and we are still trying to get hold of the management team to retrieve it and we stayed over 2 weeks ago! The communication has been very poor and just unnecessarily difficult. I really hope this can be looked into because otherwise this property would be 10/10.

Abhish (7/5): Nice time and location, which can be turned into an excellent experience with attention to detail. - Really nice location and view. Excellent communication from the manager. There was very few cooking implements, pots and pans and the shower rail was broken with the shower hanging loosely so needed the property manager to come fix it.

The location was good. A 15 minute walk to Surfers or to Chevron Island shops. Not enough kitchen utensils and equipment. Very minimal provided.

Qaisar (9/5): Very good unit - Overall appartement was very good, plenty of space and clean. The shower has only a single fixed screen, which causes some water to spill onto the bathroom floor. Adding a couple of floor mats would help manage this, though it’s not a major concern. Providing a few additional plates, spoons, and other basic utensils would be helpful. The current setup seems suited for around six guests, but the property often accommodates seven to ten people. It would also be great to have some coffee, tea, sugar etc., available. These small touches are inexpensive but make a noticeable difference to the guest experience.

Daniel (6/5): Decent Stay at Lotus Resort - Location, size, and layout of apartment. Apartment was clean as well. Working TV and Internet. Couch was comfortable. Smell from drainage, missing lock on door and non working fan in master bedroom, another room had an aircon that kept turning off and wouldn't stay on. If these things are fixed - the place would be perfect.

Michelle (10/5): Fabulous spacious apartment in central location! - We had a fabulous stay at this amazing apartment. It was beautifully decorated, very spacious (perfect for a group of friends) & in a central location. Would definitely recommend to others, & would stay there again myself! Communications with the property manager was also great - very quick replies & very helpful! There really was nothing I could fault. Only suggestion I can think of is it would have been nice to have some basic supplies available in the fridge/pantry - you do have to bring / buy everything yourself (which was ok, just a minor suggestion)

Christine (10/5): - Nice big roomy apartment having 4 bathrooms was a big +. Beds comfy, just a perfect place to stay for a group of adults or a large family. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It had everything we needed. Highly recommend Lotus Resort. Even great parking for our rental car which was a people mover. There is nothing that we didn't like.
Shravan (6/5): Fantastic apartment, but unfriendly guest experience and huge security deposit - Fantastic location within walking distance to all Gold Coast has to offer, with modern facilities. Huge apartment with plenty of space and modern amenities. Effective air conditioning for the Brisbane heat. The security deposit is excessive and the list of rules sent in advance read like a threat. Instead of making us feel welcome, the many rules and the $650 deposit made us feel uncomfortable for losing our huge deposit throughout the stay. Items of furniture and some fittings (door handle; cupboard doors) needed maintenance. There was no bottle opener and no effort was made, after requesting one, to make one available. We found a packet of chips and loose food in drawers from previous guests, and cleaned this ourselves for fear of losing our deposit.

Yingxiao (7/5): Great location and plenty of space, but the cleanliness and kitchen facilities need improvement. - The apartment is very spacious with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a laundry room. Its location is excellent, just a few minutes from Surfers Paradise. The apartment needs better cleaning as there were spider webs in many places. The shower would be more functional if a door was installed. Also, the kitchen facilities felt insufficient for a four-bedroom apartment.

Teresa (8/5): Pleasant but a little disappointing. - It was spacious, the bed comfortable and it was clean. For such a large apartment the kitchen utensils were limited no coffee maker, a plunger would have been useful and one frying pan would not work on the conduction hot plates. There was no tea towels, no bath mat in the main bathroom, no face washers and the ensuite showers all flooded the room one in particular did not drain down the shower drain at all. There were no drying racks for clothes or the wet towels used for drying the wet bathroom floors. The doors to the outside verandah did not lock. Someone parked in our no 8 parking spot one day so we parked in another bay and spent the evening waiting for someone to come growling at us.

Guests staying in other penthouses can see inside/access your penthouse if using the elevator at the same time as you. The bedroom with no bathroom had no closet area/space to put/hang clothes. The light in this room was also not working properly. Had an ironing board but no iron. Kettle had mould in it.

Carl (5/5): The place itself is appealing, the lack of maintenance and overall condition do not justify the cost - The location is great, close to the beach with shopping areas. The place is huge and is sufficient for a family or big group. The property does not meet cleanliness expectations as depicted in the photos, with hygiene standards falling below average. The sofa and throw pillows emit an unpleasant odor, and various areas—including skirtings, cupboards, and kitchen appliances—are noticeably dusty. Additionally, remnants of toothpaste from previous guests remain visible in some bathroom sinks. Essential provisions were lacking, as no kitchen rags or microfiber cloths were provided—only a single-use blue cloth. For a six-night stay, just one tea towel was initially provided, and when requested, only one additional tea towel was supplied. There was an insufficient supply of toilet paper and no paper towels, even when requested. The towels provided were inadequate—too small and of poor quality, with a thin texture. The most concerning issue was the persistent flooding in the shower room due to the removal of shower doors. With only one towel available, the wet floors posed a significant slip hazard after each use. Many items appeared to be of low quality. Though a few rubbish bags were provided, additional ones had to be purchased. While the place itself is appealing, the lack of maintenance and overall condition do not justify the cost.
