• Shanice (6/5): - Great location, a couple of minutes walk from the Main Street in Santa Maria and the beach. The apartments are clean, comfortable and cover basic needs. I spent most of my days out so I only needed to apartment to rest and shower. If you are expecting a home away from home, you may be disappointed. There is no TV (which I didn’t mind), the kitchen was very basic, there were no frying pans, grill/oven or toaster and unfortunately my kettle didn’t work but I was able to make great coffee every morning. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was clean, hot showers with no issues. Staff are lovely, helpful and there with anything you might need. I travelled solo and felt completely safe the entire time. If you’re planning to fill your days with being out and trying all of the restaurants Santa Maria has to offer, this place is perfect as it offers a nice, clean, comfortable stay, with a true Cape Verdean feel. But if you’re looking for a “home away from home” it might not be for you.

• 8a8dd0f6ad6e71a7d153b08b68b8ea01 (7/5): - Facilities and staff were very nice. Dogs and cats outside were super cute. Location is close to the center. When we arrived the windows of the apartment were open so we had to kill about 30 mosquitos. There was a bug net in the room but it had holes.

• Diana (10/5): Best place to stay in Santa Maria! - Excellent accommodation located just 400 meters from the Ângulo beach, with a restaurant conveniently situated right across the street. The apartment was very clean and well-organized. The staff were super friendly and nice. I definitely recommend this place and I will comeback!

• MARTINE (4/5): - Assez bien plaçé par rapport au centre ville. Appartement tres sombre. Tres peu équipé ( pas de produits de toilettes,ni de torchon, 2 couteaux et 2 fourchettes et un peu de vaisselle, 2 serviettes de toilette très usées). Rien d'acceuillant. Nous avons du payer immédiatement pour les 2 nuits réservées meme si nous avons annoncé que nous ne pouvions rester qu'une seule nuit (Ferry annulé).
• Haimar (9/5): - Buena ubicación y completo para estar comodo. Uno de los guardias de noche se tumbada en mi hamaca y sacaba ruido y el baño a veces olía mal. En general todo bien la verdad quitando esos pequeños detalles.

• Gio_The_Traveller (10/5): Ottima opzione per chi non vuole andare in hotel - L'appartamento è spazioso ed è dotato di tutto il necessario. La doccia è grande e l'acqua calda è sempre disponibile. L'edificio è sorvegliato h 24 dalla sicurezza e nei dintorni vi sono supermercati e ristoranti. La spiaggia dista 5 minuti a piedi. Lo staff è super friendly e disponibile. Di notte l'area in cui è ubicato l'edificio è piena di cani che abbaiano di continuo disturbando chi dorme. Nel.bagno mancano mensole per appoggiare oggetti. La pulizia dell'appartamento ed il cambio degli asciugamani avviene ogni 3 giorni e non quotidianamente.

Ereneia and Waldir are absolutely lovely and very available, they are doing the very best to make us feel comfortable. The neighbourhood is safe, nice and very well located. It's really worth the money ! Thank you again Ereneia and Waldir, I will definitely come back there !
• Hing (8/5): - The hostess Erineia was fantastic, helpful and friendly. The accommodation was clean (although no one came to clean the flat after 3 days as promised but this could be because of runup to Xmas) Location was good, 5mins walk to centre of Santa Maria Provided a mosquito net over bed which saved me from many bites. Had to ask for fan to be changed because it had no cover which was a safety risk, but I noticed they used a fan like that in the reception . Room wasn't cleaned after 3 days.

• Judith (8/5): Tolle Unterkunft! Wir kommen gerne wieder. - Super schöne Unterkunft, gut ausgestattet und nettes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Baustellen ringsum sind sehr laut, jedoch soweit wir sehen konnten wird auf den Kap Verden gerade überall gebaut.

• Giulia (6/5): posizione ottima, proprietari fantastici. - La posizione della struttura è fantastica, a 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia più vicina e a neanche 5 minuti dal centro. I proprietari sono fantastici e molto disponibili. Purtroppo è leggermente in periferia quindi potrebbe non sembrare sicuro tornare quando è buio però nel nostro soggiorni di 7 giorni non abbiamo mai avuto problemi. Soprattutto abbiamo sempre avuto l'acqua calda senza problemi!! Purtroppo la pulizia è molto scarsa, il letto e il divano scomodissimo e per chi soffre di mal di schiena cronico potrebbe davvero essere un problema. Tolta la pulizia, ha tutto ciò che serve per un ottimo soggiorno, anche il terrazzo fuori su cui rilassarsi. la spiaggia più vicina a 2 minuti a piedi a me personalmente non è piaciuta perchè prevalentemente rocciosa, ma basta camminare altri 5 minuti e la spiaggia diventa sabbiosa quindi ottima per i miei gusti.

• Jihane (10/5): A special shout-out to Enzo, the adorable guardian angel of the house — he made the stay even sweeter! - I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from the city center and very close to the sea, which made everything super convenient. The place was clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or give tips about the area. Overall, great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

• Muio71 (9/5): - Appartamento molto bello. Spazioso con una cucina salotto bagno camera da letto e un piccolo stanzino. Si trova a 5 Min a piedi dal centro,posto tranquillo e sicuro. Io avevo anche un piccolo spazio fuori dalla porta d entrata dove avevo un tavolo e uno stendipanni. Lo consiglio per qualità e prezzo. Devo dire la verità niente di particolare in modo negativo
• Amy (8/5): Fantastic staff - Staff were really friendly, attentive to my needs without me even asking. Made sure I had a hammock by my room (they have a few they can move around), sorted my airport taxi and confirmed on the day that it was coming, arranged luggage storage on my last day with no problems. One day my tour forgot to pick me up and the staff even noticed me waiting for ages and offered to call them for me. Super helpful and welcoming! Comfy rooms, good location and easy to find when wandering back from the beach without a photo/Google maps. My room was next to reception so guests checking-in late disturbed me and it was a bit noisy generally (local bar behind) although only until 10pm ish, so fine once recovered from jet lag! Toilet flooded in my room while I was out for the day (gross). Staff were helpful again with this so I moved rooms after the flooding and it was much quieter! The kitchens are a bit variable in what is provided but it is mostly everything you need - no kettle. For info, there is a tax on top of the stay cost which I didn't see mentioned on booking (presumably this is everywhere on Sal )

• Agnieszka (7/5): - Przyjemny pobyt, bardzo miła właścicielka i pan ją wspierający. Oboje życzliwi i służący pomocą. Apartament był przestronny, kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Szybki internet działał bez zastrzeżeń. W okolicy jest kilka smacznych lokali, do drobnego turystycznego deptaku w Santa Maria - 5-10 minut na piechotę. Na plażę również blisko. Czystość lekko do poprawy - w szafie były pajęczyny, moskitiera była zabrudzona w kilku miejscach i widocznie wysłużona. W łazience widać było ślady wymiany gotowego prysznica i dobudowanej ścianki oddzielającej czesc prysznicową. Wykonanie niedbałe i dawało nieestetyczny efekt, jakby było brudno. Brak hamaka.

• Linda (1/5): Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in and I been in many places around the world - Nothing There was work going on in the apartments which started at 7am banging, drilling it was horrendous couldn’t even enjoy breakfast, the bathroom was terrible no hot water at all, the towels we’re disgusting, I bought a larger to fry myself. the kitchen sink was filthy, I did complain 3 nights of being there the lady that I spoke to said she had spoken to the work men and that they should start at 9am !!! I was offered a free breakfast for the noise at the opposite hotel which I refused, I booked other hotel accommodation which cost me alot of money, it total it was a very expensive holiday accommodation Misturd should not have been offering accommodation

• Schogger (9/5): Superb - I can totally recommend that place. It is a few minutes away from the city center and the beach and quite at night. Only thing is that the process of the Check in could be approved as I had to wait about 20 minutes because there was no reception when I arrived (altough I told my arriving time).
• Amanda (9/5): Superb - It is about 5-10 minutes from the beach, restaurants and shops. It is very clean, there's hot water in the shower and the kitchen is well fitted. I could have used another blanket or sheet because it was a bit cold at night, but I didn't ask either.

• Andrina (10/5): Comfortable, cosy, safe and friendly environment. - The apartment was much bigger in real life than the pictures , bed was large and comfortable. Spacious bathroom, large living area , I had lots of space to do yoga. Good kitchen, well equipped for simple cooking. Washing lines outside on terrace area to hang swim wear ect. There was even a spare small empty room which was perfect for storing Kitesurf equipment and luggage. All the team members were really friendly, and the animals super friendly and gave lots of cuddles. There was also security there in evening , though it is very safe there. I was female solo traveller and felt very comfortable in the accommodation and area. The locals are really friendly and helpful. The town is 5 min walk. And there are some shops across the road. Every thing was perfect. I can’t wait to visit again.

• Larisa (7/5): Ok apartment in Santa Maria, good location - The apartment is furnished and close to the center of Santa Maria and to the beach. Calm and safe place with nice terrace. Good place if you are looking for a cheap solution where to stay in Sal Be careful that you might have to pay additional fees to use the air conditioning, not clear in the property description. The towels were old, stained and smelly. To be changed, along with the bed sheets. Lastly, the apartment needs a bit of renovation
• Petra (9/5): A solid place to stay in Santa Maria - My stay at Misturod was great. The host was extremely helpful and kind. Check in and check out went smoothly. My apartment was spacious and equipped with all essentials. Internet worked well. Convenient location - close to shops, restaurants and the beach, yet in a quiet area. Darling pets all around the property. No real complaints, just a few comments - one of my kitchen cabinets had an unpleasant, quite pungent smell; I would have preferred if there were insect nets in the windows rather than over the bed, I also would have appreciated if there were an oven/microwave in the kitchen.
• Ali (6/5): Room for improvement - Convenient location to small shops and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The guy who checked us in was very helpful and allowed us to arrive early. We were told the room was ready. On arrival,the fridge was still unplugged so had to wait for that to get cold. The electric heater for the shower was also unplugged so we had to wait for the water to get hot! The kitchen is lacking utensils.We were told there was a charge for using the A/C when booking, but not the cost. 10€ per day for a unit which is only in the bedroom is very expensive.We moved to a larger apartment in Porto Antigo ii with massive balcony,sea view and pool for only 10euros a day more.Free A/C too.
