• Garcia (9/5): Very comfortable and relaxing - We really enjoyed our stay. It ticks all the boxes for a relaxing holiday—from a very comfortable bed to short walks to the beach and nearby restaurants, as well as great amenities such as the spa, pools, and tennis court. The staff are very friendly; even when the office isn’t staffed, they respond to calls quickly if you have any concerns or questions.

Apartment was large and clean. - It was located where we needed to be, it was clean and comfortable Couldn’t find rubbish bins outside unit to dispose of rubbish. Toilet in ensuite made a terrible noise when refilling after flushing. Washing machine left marks on clothes.

• Bryan (10/5): Great apartment for your Cairns stay! - We had originally booked a different location in the area and it did not meet our expectations. Thankfully we were able to swtich to Marlin Cove which was a huge upgrade. We were very thankful it was available.

• David (9/5): Marlin Cove Resort - Everything we required was there, nice apartment and furniture, short walk to cafes, bars, brewery, beach. Close to attractions. Loved the wallabies! Lovelly pool and gardens. Sauna was out of action when we stayed.

• Leonard (10/5): Trinity Beach Jewel - A great location 17klm North of Cairns.. The apartment is set in a large resort close to shops and the beach 500 metres away. Public transport via a Bus which runs hourly to Cairns which we caught. Everything was provided in the apartment with ceiling fans and air-conditioning. A lap pool and large lagoon pool are within the property to use. A good range of restaurants cafes and hotel are on the esplanade facing the beach. The town has a relaxed vibe and its less touristy and more locals. We found everything fantastic

Front door handle easily reached by escapee toddler - no separate locking mechanism 🤣. Plug seemed to be missing for bath.

• Jo (10/5): We’ll definitely be back - Had everything we needed for our stay, lovely quiet area & beautiful view of the rainforest at the back door & local wildlife. Walking distance to the beach & restaurants. Only issue we had was a strange lady with her cat walking through the front garden & standing at our front door throughout our stay.

• Penny (9/5): Great for families, quiet location. - Great location, loved the lagoon pool and the heated lap pool. Apartment was modern, clean and spacious for a family of 4. The complex was nice and quiet, although we did hear our neighbours walking around above but it wasn’t an issue. Netflix and other streaming services didn’t work on either tv. Lucky we brought our Amazon fire stick with us. One bin bag for a medium sized bin for 6 days wasn’t enough so we had to buy bin bags. Oven trays would have been handy.

• Boyd (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable stay near the beach. - This is a great property, very quiet, good facilities with pools and a tennis court, set near a small bush area where wallabies emerge from in the morning coming right up to our apartment. Short walk to a variety of restaurants and a short drive to Palm Cove, Cairns, the airport and the rain forest areas. Would absolutely stay again. Minimal supply of basics like dishwasher powder - enough for three uses when we were staying four nights.
• Christopher (8/5): Perfect vacation rental - Great facilities for kids or adults alike. Tennis courts, two pools, short walk to get a morning coffee at the beach, wildlife, etc. The accommodation was a fully furnished apartment so was well suited to a family vacation. That said, it wasn’t overrun with children and families. A couple could easily enjoy a getaway here. Trinity Beach is a great location to access most attractions. Port Douglas is a 40min drive which gets you access to the GB reef, Kuranda is 10mins away, Cairns about 25mins. Beach has nets to protect from the crocs and stingers. Could be useful to have a brochure in the apartment that overviewed the facilities, local attractions etc.

• Ellen (10/5): Perfect family get away with great pool and great location - Pool was great - kids loved the sand. Our apartment was perfectly located across from the pool which made life easier. Apartment was also super clean which I love - I’m a bit of a clean freak and I felt very comfortable in this space. We also loved spotting kangaroos around the property and how close it was to the main strip of shops/restaurants (a short 6min walk). Self check-in and out was super easy.

• Dorothy (10/5): My stay at marlin resort trinity beach was a very present beau - Everything about this resort is the best holiday apartments I've been to in the state. Everything was beautifully clean. All facilities available for our use was great. The managers are very caring and go above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. On the second day the washing machine broke and the managers went out and bought another one for me that very day. As my son needed his jersey to play sport that week. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT MARLIN RESORT
• Mateki (7/5): Great location for Trinity Beach stay. - The location was great as it was walking distance to Trinity Beach and all its facilities. Also liked the 2nd pool set up with the sand and BBQ facilities. Very convenient and safe if you have young ones. It was really hard to read the number of the unit we had as we had an after hours check in. The unit we had was very tired in decor, and a few things were not working well - a fan in master bedroom, internet, and blinds in the living room.

• Anthony (3/5): Poor - Your mattress in the main room is the worst mattress I tried to sleep on, when your on holiday you expect a comfortable bed, however the mattress you expect your customers to sleep on is like laying on a concrete floor, my body is so sore from that bed... terrible change the mattress and have repeat customers until this happens you have lost me and I'm probably not the first...lift your game!

• Nik (8/5): overall we loved our stay. Will definately be back - This is the second time we have stayed here. The grounds and lagoon pool are lovely. My kids loved the wallabies jumping around. We visited at a quiet time which was great. The residents we met were very friendly The pool wasn't as clean as it has been in the past, there were alot of dead bugs floating in it. Also wifi was sketchy and tv couldn't connect.

There was only enough chairs for one family when we visited so has to sit in the bbq area. Property lights were quite bright through the night through the blinds but understand there’s not much to do about that.
• Beta (6/5): Attention to details needed - Location was fantastic. Pool looked beautiful, but water was cold. So was the spa ! Charming with wallabies roaming the gardens Parking ok too. Unit was mostly comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Laundry facilities were good. Very good fridge. Stylish furniture inside. But bad looking plastic plants. Balcony furniture was daggy, greasy and uncomfortable and no cushions were there for the old wooden chairs. We used bedroom blankets to sit on and couch pillows. What a mess. The plastic plants were daggy. There was a dishwasher but no dishwashingtablets..I mean just give us a handful to start with! No spare garbage bags either. Dining table and decorative mat were greasy and not cleaned. Dishwasher washing wings blocked with foods scraps. Unhygenic and not a good wash. Big problem with reception being closed and unmanned for the entire stay. A contact phone number on the reception door is NOT good enough. There were 2 different keys given but no info what the second smaller key was for. I would recommend some smarter cushioned and comfortable garden furniture on the balcony .and some nicer plantings on balcony to compliment the beautiful pool area. And some mood lighting out there for the evenings. It could just be so much nicer, and the unit doesn't deserve to be dragged down by an uncomfortable balcony outfit. The water temperature in both showers were near impossible to adjust and keep steady. You couldn't risk having a child shower there for risk of scolding. Needs urgent attention. We would have told all this to the reception attendant...if there had been one there!! I And how about heating the outdoor spa for a nicer dip, especially at night The second bedroom smelled dusty. A suitcase stand or low unit would have been nice for our mature backs. Despite above observations I would consider booking here again , but I really hope my feedback is taken into consideration.

• David (5/5): Really enjoyable but our enjoyment would have been better with some thought been what makes a good r - The apartment itself was fine and very clean and tidy. Of the facilities provided we only used the pool and that was fine and very enjoyable. The provision of kitchen and bathroom cleaner would ensure that the cleanliness of the apartment could be maintained during a stay. There we no oven trays so it was difficult to make full use of the oven. The can opener provided was old and would not open cans. The office was never open so access to relevant travel and tourism information was not available at the resort.

• Mark (7/5): Nice stay and location but the cost cutting gone too far, no people, no cleaning, too many signs. - Trinity Beach location is good, easy walk to beach and facilities. Pool was nice. Hard to rate the staff when their wasn't any. The entire facility seemed unstaffed meaning all the cleaning was put back on the guest. cleaning, drying and putting away dishes etc, rubbish disposal etc. This was easy but felt like cost cutting gone too far. Too many signs with threatening parking rules, towing etc. understandable but overbearing. Feels like signs have replaced people.

Would stay again if every visiting Trinity Beach. - Location was great close to shops and restaurants a very peaceful well cared for resort. Apartment was very clean and tidy with great amanities. It was lovely to see the kangaroos roaming around. Not having the reception opening occasionally so that you could access brochures for activities around the area and for any general enquiries it wasn't open once in our 14 day stay. A map of the area in the room would have been helpful too having not been to Trinity beach before.

Main bedroom separate and private from second bedroom. Large deck area with ceiling fan overlooking the gardens was beautiful. The pool areas were excellent, the larger pool and spa area is such a gorgeous space to hang out in. Unfortunately the sauna wasn’t working properly, which we were all looking forward to using. Was no reception staff when checking out at 10am on a Saturday. But they were the only negatives.

• Joanna (8/5): Great quiet and relaxed resort, with amazing lagoon pool - It is slightly tucked away in a good way and means it is a lovely quiet resort. Amazing lagoon pool and Wallabies roaming the gardens. 2 bed apartment laid out well as bedrooms at either end so can't hear each other. Has an issue with the oven but the owner stepped in and went over and above to assist.

• Julie (10/5): Lovely 3 day stay visiting family.. - Have stayed here on several occasions, I love the location, the peace and quiet, the unit was beautifully decorated and we overlooked the lagoon pool. Everything was great but just a few little things in the kitchen could have been improved and our stay would have been perfect. We decided to use the kitchen instead of eating out , but found the utensils were lacking, the frypan needed replacing, there were no paper towels, baking paper or aluminium foil, At least one more tea towel would have been good, and spare garbage bags as well. They were just minor things, but our 3 night stay was still great and I would definitely stay here again.

• Christine (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing and exceptionally clean and comfortable facilities - The cleanliness was exceptional. Facilities were wonderful. Pool lovely. Nice and quiet. Didn't deal with staff much however the limited contact we had was amazing. Only feedback would be fresh towels or linen service offered midweek. We did not realise we could request additional toilet paper etc until we asked. Would be helpful to have this info on check in. Apart from that everything else was wonderful.
