There was so much thought into the set up of a small area to make it so pretty. The staff were great, helpful with everything we needed and very friendly. We spent out time just hanging by the pools and it was so nice to have that time to chill. The apartment provided everything we needed to prepare our own food and we found some great little sodas locally for dinner. Would definitely recommend this place. We had breakfast one day which wasn't great, after this we made our own which was absolutely fine. The local area of playa flamingo wasn't quite what we were expecting, some disappointment in the beaches and access by car seemed extremely difficult. But we embraced the beauty of this hotel and enjoyed our days by the pool instead.

Handicapped access inside the room was adequate. The two meals we had at the property were quite good, and fairly priced. Nothing was really walkable outside the place itself. Most things to do were a couple of miles away, without sidewalks. The air conditioning died for three of our 6 days there. Should have a higher toilet, a sturdy grab bar, and a parking spot with no curb only a few meters from the door for accessible rooms .

• Andrea (9/5): Bel Viaggio a Playa Flamingo Costa Rica - Struttura situata in una buona posizione: sebbene sia necessario l'uso dell'auto per gli spostamenti, si trova comodamente tra Playa Flamingo, Playa Conchal (Brasilito) e tutte le altre splendide spiagge della zona. Molto bello il giardino che circonda la struttura, così come le due comode piscine dotate di uno spazio attrezzato perfetto per rilassarsi. Lo staff è molto gentile, disponibile e pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. La stanza è davvero spaziosa, dotata sia di aria condizionata che di ventole a soffitto. Inoltre, era presente un comodo frigorifero e i letti erano molto confortevoli.Nel complesso un ottimo soggiorno. Da segnalare che nel nostro caso la colazione non era compresa e, considerando il prezzo pagato, avrebbero potuto includerla. Infine, la pulizia giornaliera è sicuramente migliorabile e alcune zone andrebbero manutenute meglio

• Alejandro (9/5): Hotel muy cómodo y bonito - La ubicación está muy bien, cerca de playas muy lindas, el hotel cuenta con 2 piscinas muy bonitas y bien limpias en todo momento, constantemente les dan mantenimiento, el cuarto es espacioso y se descansa muy bien en él, definitivamente volvería a hospedarme en él de nuevo en el futuro. Que si se reserva x booking no incluye desayuno y en cambio si se hace directo en el hotel si lo incluye.

• Alonso (9/5): - El lugar es muy tranquilo y bonito. Todo muy limpio. Personal muy amable. Que hubiera muy poco personal. No había servicio de restaurante al medio día y en la cena. En el desayuno eran muy limitadas las opciones. Además, se veía que el personal no estaba al tanto de los detalles (por ejemplo, algunas veces nos decían que el desayuno estaba incluido y otras veces nos decían que no). Es una lástima, con instalaciones tan bonitas nos hubiera gustado tener un servicio de restaurante mas completo. Nos dio la sensación de que no se invierte lo suficiente en personal.

La atención del personal también fue excepcional y la ubicación súper accesible a todos los destinos atractivos de los alrededores (playas, restaurantes, comercio, etc.)
• Gregor (9/5): Sehr erholsam - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, mit wunderschönen Bäumen und Blumen. Zudem gibt es sehr viele schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten des Hotels. Die Pools sind sauber und groß. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vom Hotel aus ist man mit dem Auto sehr schnell bei einigen wunderschönen Stränden, wobei Flamingo Beach unser Favorit war. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss mit dem Blick auf die parkenden Autos. Die kleine „Terrasse“ vor den Zimmer hatte zwei Stühle, auf denen man aber nicht verweilen wollte. Eine Möglichkeit zum trocknen der nassen Sachen wäre hilfreich gewesen. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist etwas schwach. Das Frühstück hat uns leider gar nicht geschmeckt.

The location is excellent — quiet, immersed in nature, yet just minutes from Playa Flamingo and with Playa Conchal easily reachable by car in about 5 minutes. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped, making it perfect for a family stay. We especially loved the feeling of being surrounded by nature while still being close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful, making us feel at home from the very beginning. Everything was smooth and well organized throughout our stay. If we ever come back to this area, we would definitely choose Casa del Toro again without hesitation. Highly recommended Nothing

• Fred (1/5): Me han robado - Je n’ai rien aimé La casa de los ladrones debería llamarse. El peor hotel de todo mi viaje en Costa Rica. No es un 4 estrellas pero te lo venden así. No teniamos lámparas de noche, ni mis niños que estaban en otro cuarto. El desayuno es una vergüenza, café frío, pan de molde y mantequilla caducada de hace 6 meses . Dejó la foto. Enchufes en mal estado y muebles para arreglar. Piscina con una zona peligrosa y te venden vistas al jardín que dan a una pared. Adjunto foto. Buscaros otro hotel porque yo ya os he avisado de la calidad de este alojamiento

Desde el primer momento se percibe la armonía entre la arquitectura, la naturaleza y el entorno, logrando una experiencia única para quienes buscan descanso, privacidad y confort de alto nivel. Las casas están impecablemente diseñadas, con espacios amplios, excelente ventilación natural y acabados de calidad. Cada detalle refleja cuidado, estilo y una clara intención de ofrecer una estadía cómoda y relajante. El entorno natural que las rodea aporta una sensación de paz difícil de igualar, ideal para desconectarse y disfrutar del verdadero estilo de vida guanacasteco. La habitación correcta, pero con pequeños detalles de mantenimiento que habría que estar más pendientes ( enchufes caídos en la pared, manilla de la puerta de entrada muy endeble que parece que te vas a quedar con ella en la mano....). El personal de recepción muy amable tanto en trato como en indicaciones de los alrededores. Por las fechas que fuimos no daban opción de desayuno pero cerca hay varias sodas e incluso playa brasilito está cerca y tiene varios sitios para comer cenar muy buenos. Habría que mejorar los pequeños detalles antes comentados.

• B Camacho (10/5): Friendly staff, comfortable stay, and a beautiful property - From the moment we arrived, Erica at the front desk made us feel welcome. She was friendly, helpful, and set the tone for a great stay. My best friend and I were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an apartment that included a kitchenette, such a nice bonus. The beds were plush and very comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. Erica also let us know that offseason construction was underway to add another pool. The work happened during designated hours, so it didn’t disturb us much at all. Overall, the property felt safe, well-maintained, and genuinely beautiful. We weren’t informed that housekeeping would be entering the room while we were out for the day. There wasn’t a “Do Not Disturb / Request Service” door hanger available, which would have helped us decide whether we wanted service, especially since we had valuables out. Nothing went missing, but having that option would definitely improve the experience for future guests. Helpful note: It would be great if the dishware set included bowls, especially since many guests use the kitchenette.

• Eduardo (9/5): Stylish accomodation option close to Potrero, Flamingo and Brasilito! - I had not read any reviews for Casas del Toro before arriving at the place, so I was very pleasantly surprised with what I found. Nice, stylish, comfty accomodation very close to Potrero and Flamingo (the beaches I visited), supermarkets, the Flamingo Marina, and so on. Mediterranean-style complex, with very comfty rooms (coffee maker included). 100% recommended! Nothing in particular
• Jessica (8/5): Beautiful hotel in a great location - Wonderful location. The different areas are beautifully decorated and well kept. The breakfast is great too. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds are comfy. The reception staff was always helpful and gave us all the information we needed. I fully recommend this place! Some minor details that wouldn't keep me from booking this hotel again, as they are easily fixed: 1. The showerhead could be improved. 2. The bathroom mirror light did not work. Shower was very dark, even with the lights on. 3. We had some trouble closing the bathroom door.

• Donna (10/5): Beautiful tropical retreat - We loved staying here! It's in a quiet and natural setting with beautiful greenery throughout the property. It's a relaxing retreat as it is secluded in a wonderful way. The sound of birds and the soft music in the restaurant area gave a tranquil experience. The food was very good. All the staff are warm and friendly, from the reception area to the restaurant to housekeeping and landscaping. They all keep the rooms, grounds and pools immaculate. They all give excellent and prompt service at all times, especially Roger and Griselda. We look forward to staying here again! Can't think of one thing we didn't like!
