Maria (9/5): Excellent location for families with kids - Location, facilities, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, sauna. It was quite warm so we opened the windows, also at night. However, it's impossible to sleep in the morning because the trucks pick up garbage or post delivery cars start to drive.
Marta (9/5): Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr gerne wieder. - In dem Apartment war alles vorhanden was man für einen Ski-Urlaub benötigt. Besonders angenehm war die Möglichkeit nach dem Ski-Fahren die Sauna zu benutzen. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich und das Personal sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist Top, nur 5 Min bis zum Lift. Alles war super.

Ruslanas (6/5): - Close to everything Post office workers at 6AM. Behind the other building postal workers were loading their cars and trucks, it was super loud. Dust under the beds, and we had some allergies after it, had to drive to the Lienz to reach the pharmacy which works on Sunday to get some meds. No air-conditioning, and it was 31° every day. After arguing with stuff and asking for a manager we got a few old squicky fans you couldn't run at night because of the sound they make.

Gergely (10/5): That is a great accomodation. - The apartmentis spacious, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. 1 min from the lift station (by car), 1 min from grocery shops (on foot). The underfloor heating system is an elegant way to heat the apartment, and works properly, but makes it difficult to dry your ski suit and gloves when it snows. :)

Dávid (10/5): Very modern, comfortable, a great place for 2 couples or a family with multiple children. - Panoramic view to the mountains, modern equipment, our own private sauna, comfy beds, the provided herbal shower gel smelled really nice. Sometimes the children screamed loud at the camping nearby, and the kitchen knife was kinda dull.
Petr (8/5): Comfortable accommodation - Friendly staff, well-furnished room, large balcony, welcoming of dogs. Due to orientation of the balcony, it was not possible to use the balcony for sitting on the afternoon due to high temperature; it would be appropriate to install some shading. The fee for a dog seemed quite high to us.

Boštjan (10/5): Modern stay-as-at-home close to the shops and lift - Modern and well-equipped apartment with smart floor plan. We had a nice view to the west, even from the bedroom, where there's direct access to a terrace. The kitchen has everything you need or even more (filter and Nespresso coffee machines, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven ...), sponges, clothes and detergents were prepared to be used and space is efficiently used. There's a complimentary washing machine in the house. The retractable couch is usable for two additional guests, but then it would get busy since it takes up almost all space in the living room part. We enjoyed all the benefits of modern smart TV, using our own apps and accounts. The retail shops (Billa, Spar) are only 100 meters away, and the bottom station of Matrei skilift is situated 300 meters away, so it can be easily accessed on foot. Of course, there's a vast space for skis and ski boots on the lower floor. There was nothing in particular that we would really dislike, but I need to mention rather small closets. You also need to check for dishes and plates - we were missing espresso cups and soup plates but got latter without hesitation when we asked for them in the reception.

Geneviève (6/5): Basic accomodation. Don't expect much. - Kitchen well equipped. We didn't enjoy much our stay. Probably because off season. We arrive at around 8:20pm, reception was closed. The Wifi didn't work. The next day we inform the reception desk and they couldn't help. Tiny, very tiny I can't imagine a family of 4 sleeping in it. No soap in the shower. The hand soap fragrance was awful. Uncomfortable pillows. Basic accommodation and didn't worth what we spent.

Lenka (10/5): Beautiful studio apartment, great location and very helpful and friendly staff - Very nicely furnished apartment (we were in a studio olin the bew building), we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the terrace as well. Great location, within walking distance to several supermarkets and also the bus stop. Just a short drive to many hiking trails. The studio apartment was just perfect for two people, would be crowded in case of 4 people staying. The washing machine in the building was great benefit that we made use of. If anything could be better, it would be great to have more than one pot lid (would nake cooking easier), amd more than 4 plates of each type and more cutlery sets (we had 4 forks, 4 knives, 4 spoons and 2 teaspoons).

Absolutely incredible apartment with great furnishings, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and soft bedding. Very friendly staff at reception. 3-4 min walk from Billa and Spar. Easy access to walking and biking routes. Perfect getaway for a family holiday. We should've stayed longer:)

Jozsef (9/5): Superb - Rather new, well equipped apartment in a ski area also great in the summer. Really close shops and a restaurant. Nice view on the mountains. Really liked the little sauna in the bathroom. There is a Post inventory just across on the groundfloor of the neighbouring hotel. Is a bit noisy in the mornings when they are loading around 6 am.
Björn-ragnar (8/5): Very good - Great mountain view from the balcony. Well-equipped kitchenette. Full size stove/oven, fridge. Kettle, toaster. Three big supermarkets within five minutes walk. Walk about 12 minutes for coffee in the centre of Matrei. Expensive, compared to private flats in Osttirol - perhaps Virgental is at a premium? Not possible to contact the hotel before 3 p.m. on day of arrival, either by phone or at the hotel's reception. Impossible to talk to someone about early arrival.
