• Sven (9/5): Perfect B&B in the old town with friendly host - The building is in the center of the old town, thus all main sights are easy to reach by foot. We had a spacious, clean, and simple room on the ground floor. The lady hosting us was super friendly and served us nice breakfast in her kitchen (as we stayed in winter, the roof terrace was closed). Our navigation apps (multiple) were unaware of both the closed off pedestrian zone and one-way streets - so we parked outside the pedestrian zone and walked a few minutes - which is not the fault of the B&B. Room was a bit cold despite heating - but we had enough blankets to stay warm during the night.

Local restaurants, ice cream shops and the bazar mosque are all within 5 mins The castle is also very close. The host is very kind and gave us a nice welcome with a nice breakfast option. • Eudis (10/5): A Gem in Gjirokaster - The owner is incredibly sympathetic and welcoming, which made the stay feel very personal. The place is honestly one of the cleanest I have been to in Europe. Breakfast was excellent – everything was freshly prepared and delicious. I literally have no negative points about this place. You should definitely book it!

• Mészáros (10/5): - This was our 7th - and the last - accommodation in Albania, but it was our best one! The location of the house is just perfect - literally in the middle of the old town, within 1 minute walk from the old bazaar, but tucked away in a little alleyway, away from the noise of the street, so the atmosphere is very cozy. Let’s talk about our host - she is a very lovely person, who gladly arranged breakfast for us at 6am because we wanted to see Berat before our flight back home in the afternoon. Very quick and polite communication via Booking, but in person you can see that she is a person who puts her heart and soul into this. The level of hospitality is definitely over the average, we felt very welcoming during our stay. The house - both from the outside and inside - is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious and absolutely filling. Overall, if you are looking for a perfect accommodation in Gjirokaster, you just found it!

• Begoña (10/5): Mejor que en tu propia casa ¡inmejorable! - ¡Qué maravilla! Solo puedo dar un 10. El alojamiento está genial ubicado cerca de todo. La propietaria es una mujer realmente agradable y hospitalaria. La casa está impecable, se nota que cuida con mimo cada detalle, la habitación era enorme con un baño privado muy moderno. Nos costó un poco encontrarla en una calle pequeñita y vivieron a buscarnos a las 8 de la noche. Se puede aparcar el coche en el parking público de abajo que andando son 5 minutos y nos costó 400 leks por unas 15 horas. El desayuno en la terraza que nos preparó Vila fue espectacular!! Contundente, sabroso y casero, el mejor Byrek de queso fetta que he comido en todo Albania que ella misma cocina. Gracias por hacernos sentir tan cómodos y mucha suerte.

Para aparcar nos recomendó el parking de la plaza cercana y fue gran acierto 4€/dia Lo más incómodo por decir algo, fue la musica en la noche pues esta en el centro, y en esa zona ponen musica hasta las 00h, pero la verdad no nos afectó a nuestro descanso para nada.

А при том, что это не отель, а гостевой дом, можно было бы это продумать. Очень сложно добираться, потому что пешеходная зона и приходится тащится с чемоданами наверх самим.

La situación, la amabilidad de la dueña, el desayuno espectacular, la habitación amplia, la relación calidad precio… Que el baño, aunque fuera solo para nuestra habitación estuviese fuera de la habitación. La música que hay hasta las 12 de la noche. Si no te molesta oír música hasta esa hora perfecto.

Se escucha música de los locales próximos hasta las doce de la noche, pero a nosotros no nos molestó.

• Anaïs (10/5): Wonderful stay, even better than the photos! - We stayed one night in the ground floor room and honestly, everything exceeded our expectations. The house is even more charming than in the photos. It’s perfectly located in the bazar, central but tucked away enough to be peaceful. The room stays naturally cool thanks to the stone walls, so we didn’t even need to use the air conditioning. It was spotless and felt fresh without the need for daily cleaning. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, by far the best we’ve ever had in any accommodation !! Breakfast was truly excellent: generous, varied, and delicious, served on a lovely terrace with views of the castle. Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They live upstairs and were always available if we had questions. Her husband even helped us carry our big suitcase from the parking lot to the accommodation. They also helped us book a taxi. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city! We were there on a Saturday night, and it was really loud due to the nearby bars. But the music stopped around midnight.
