La douche avait pas mal de problèmes, le pommeau marchait difficilement. Chambre qui reste de confort assez rustique. Dommage qu’au petit déjeuner on ne puisse pas choisir, on nous apporte des plats sans demander nos intolérances. Comme disent les commentaires prévoir de venir avec un sac à dos car ça grimpe pas mal. Une nuit suffit à berat c’est vite visité

• Kathrin (7/5): - Wunderschöne Aussicht mit herrlichem Blick auf das Gorica-Viertel in Berat. Außerdem sind Parkplätze vorhanden. Das selbstgemachte Frühstück war grandios und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und bemüht. Leider sind die Zimmer inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Einige Details der Einrichtung waren beschädigt. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht richtig abdunkeln und ziehen etwas. Im Zimmer war zudem zeitweise ein unangenehmer Geruch aus dem Badezimmerabfluss wahrnehmbar. Der größte Minuspunkt war allerdings die extreme Hellhörigkeit.
• Doris (10/5): A very authentic hotel with a wonderful view onto Berat - The hotel was in one of the old townhouses and had a very authentic feel about it. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing, definitely the best we had on our trip to Albania. The view onto the town was beautiful. I would also recommend trying the dinner. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. There were a lot of steps from the car parking spaces up to the property which may be difficult for some guests to manage. However the owner and his son helped us with the suitcases.

Évitez les valises, allez-y en sac à dos. - Étant donné que c’est une maison traditionnelle en pierre, il fait assez frais la nuit et au levé du soleil. Pensez à un pyjama long. - Les rideaux ne sont pas assez occultants, mais cela n’a pas posé souci pour une nuit.

Alles war blitzsauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und genau wie beschrieben. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, und die Gastfreundschaft war außergewöhnlich herzlich und aufmerksam. Es hat uns an absolut nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können diese Unterkunft jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen! -

Pokoj byl útulný, s nádherný výhledem na čtvrť Gorica a balkónem pro večerní drink!! Snídaně byla fantastická s výhledem, který nikde jinde není!! To musítě zažít!! Paní a pán, kteří chystali snídani byli velmi příjemní. Pokud do Beratu, tak jedině sem. Na 100%!!
• Georg (10/5): Uriges Hotel mit guten Betten und leckerem Frühstück - Eine außergewöhliche Unterkunft in einem alten, historischen Haus mit wunderschönem Ausblick von der kleinen Terasse, wo man das Frühstück serviert bekam. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, das einzige mal in Albanien mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Die Betten waren sehr gut.

The narrow streets of the Mangelam quarter will lead you through the passway where this guesthouse is located. Hani i Xheblatit is soaked in the history of the city. The couple that owns the place are very kind and welcoming. On the veranda of Hani i Xheblatit, overlooking the beautiful Berat, my family and I enjoyed the most generous breakfast in Albania.

Milý majitel, vynikající a bohatá snídaně, velmi pohodlné postele. Sice musíte jít po schodech do kopečka, ale jak jinak byste chtěli krásný výhled. Chtělo by to ještě jednu peřinu :-)

(10/5): HOTEL PRECIOSO, ENTORNO PRECIOSO, HABITACIÓN PRECIOSA Y DESAYUNO ESTUPENDO. - El hotel es una preciosidad, con muchísimo encanto, con muy buenas vistas desde la terraza, al aire libre. Un desayuno en esa terraza no se paga con dinero, no sólo por la vistas, sino porque fue un desayuno excepcional. Los anfitriones fueron muy correctos y atentos. La habitación triple en la que nos alojamos aparte de muy buen tamaño era preciosa. El baño perfecto. Y la climatización también muy bien. Además, a pesar de lo que se menciona en Albania, permitían pagar con tarjeta sin ningún problema. Es difícil que vuelva a Berat porque hay mucho mundo que descubrir, pero si volviera, no dudaría ni por un instante en alojarme en éste establecimiento. Por poner una pega, que no es tal, porque ya sabíamos a dónde íbamos. Llegar al hotel supone arrastrar (mejor dicho, cargar) con las maletas 5 minutos por unas cuestas importantes. El coche se deja abajo, en la calle principal, donde tienen un par de plazas reservadas para ellos. Pero merece mucho mucho la pena.

I stayed at the hotel because I was running the Berat Green Half Marathon, and it made my four-day stay even better.

Pensez à prendre une petite valise ou un sac à dos avec quelques affaires, pour accéder à ce sublime hébergement, les rues sont étroites, pavées et pentues. Il faut porter la valise.

The location was perfect - very close to town, to the river and the promenade. The bathroom light did not work and the light in the shower was on all the time with no way to turn it off. That would have been ok if there wasn't a door with glass in it to the main room.

• Naomi Albiez (9/5): Der Ausblick ist sein Geld wert! - Sehr sehr schöne Aussicht vom Balkon über die Stadt. Zimmer gemütlich und einzigartig eingerichtet. Großartiges Frühstück auf schöner Terrasse. Service etwas aufdringlich, aber eigentlich nett. Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber passt noch zum Stil des Hauses.
• Hans (9/5): Top Unterkunft in historischem Haus - Hervorragendes Frühstück, Top Lage in der Altstadt in historischem Haus. Super Blick von der Dachterrasse wo das Frühstück und Abendessen (sehr empfehlenswert) serviert wird. Unbedingt die Nachspeise probieren. Unser Zimmer war ohne Balkon und nur mit kleinen Gucklöchern, deshalb die Bewertung für die Aussicht vom Zimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Einzig das Bad mit Toilette war sehr beengt, historisch bedingt. Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit was sicherlich nicht einfach ist in einem altem Haus. -
• Metzchen (10/5): - Das Beste Frühstück, dass man sich vorstellen kann. Angefangen bei frisch gepresstem O- Saft..., auf einer traumhaftem Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick serviert. Das Abendessen, war ebenfalls grandios, da so gut wie alles selbst geerntete Zutaten enthalten hat. Frisch und äußerst schmackhaft, eines der leckersten Essen, die wir auf unserer Rundreise probieren durften. Auch wenn man die Koffer einige Treppen rauf durch die Altstadt schleppen muss, lohnt es sich, mitten im Geschehen zu wohnen. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz am Fuẞe der Altstadt, sehr praktisch. Wir hatten das schnuckelige, urige Zimmer Nr.1 mit Klimaanlage, etwas lautem Kühlschrank und Balkon mit toller Aussicht. Sollten wir Berat nochmal besuchen, wäre dies unsere 1.Wahl. ---

• Martin (6/5): Overall, the location and the friendliness of the staff were positives, but the specific room we stayed in had too many - Location, food, hospitality, balcony view We stayed in a triple room on the lower floor. While the staff was kind and welcoming, unfortunately our experience with the room was not very comfortable. The biggest problem was the noise: whenever water was flushed from the rooms above, we could hear it running loudly through the pipes in our room. On top of that, the room was right next to the balcony where guests ate and directly by the reception, so there was constant noise from people talking, eating, and checking in or out. Another issue was the strong smell of frying food coming from the kitchen starting very early in the morning (around 6 a.m.), which came into our room and was unpleasant. We also had several problems with the facilities: • The shower did not drain properly. After one person used it, the next person had to step into ankle-deep water until it slowly drained away. • The bathroom was very small for a triple bedroom. • The room only had very small windows without proper curtains • There were no bedside lamps, and the main light was weak with some bulbs burned out. • In general, the room looked like it needed a touch-up and some maintenance. • The mattresses were old, curvy, and not comfortable for sleeping.

• A. Z. (10/5): - Sehr süßes Hotel in top Lage und mit guter Aussicht. Sehr nettes Personal, zur Begrüßung gabs einen Obstteller. Da spontan ein Mitglied unserer Gruppe krank geworden ist, haben wir trotzdem noch eine Preisreduzierung bekommen. Sehr viele und steile Stufen bis zum Hotel. Keine Empfehlung wenn man einen großen Koffer hat. Die Unterkunft hat nur 2 reservierte Parkplätze unten an der Straße, wenn diese belegt sind hat man Pech gehabt. Wir durfen zum Glück eine Nacht vor dem Restaurant Zonja Gjene stehen bleiben.

• Tobias (9/5): - super zentral gelegenes kleines Hotel mit wenigen Zimmern im traditionellen Stil. Das Frühstück und vor allem auch das Abendessen auf der kleinen Terrasse waren sensationell. Wir haben das traditionelle Menü gewählt, es war sehr reichhaltig u. total lecker. Besser haben wir nicht mehr gegessen in unserem Albanienurlaub.

We loved the atmosphere, the well-decorated traditional room, the lovely balcony with great view, the location, the hospitality of the owner and....the delicious breakfast. The reserved parking place below was full. We parked our car at a big parking place at the end of the street. It was no issue for us.

• Ronald (9/5): Heerlijk genoten van het mooie Berat - Ligging perfect met mooi terras Mooie kamers Service ++ Goed ontbijt en diner Hulp bij mooie excursie naar Onumi canyon Koffers naar hotel brengen is door vele trappen workout ++ Pinautomaat werkte niet bij afrekening en personeel had geen idee hoe dit op te lossen: uiteindelijk cash moeten betalen Extreem veel wespen waar geen actie met vangers op werd genomen
