• Suze (10/5): Beautiful Berat - Everything was perfect... The bed was so comfortable. Location perfect! Berat is astounding! I read reviews that people were welcomed with snacks and drinks I didn't get any of that. The person who showed me to my room was pleasant but no interaction. It's not a dislike just an observation. Most other guesthouses offered a snack or water or both.

• Elvira (10/5): Amazing stay! - It was an amazing stay! The owners are the sweetest and the kindest people, they were always ready to help, friendly and caring. They offered me tea and fresh fruit just as kind gesture. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the old town - although be ready that the way to the guesthouse is steep and stoned - it can be a challenge to walk up with suitcases. But the old town is all like this. The room was very cozy, comfortable and clean with a breathtaking view of Berat and the mountains. Very comfortable beds, soundproofing - I had really good sleep there! Someone could be disturbed by the prayers from the mosque (at around 5 am), but I guess, they are heard from any part of the old town. I got used to it very quickly and it didn't disturb me, although I'm a light sleeper. I highly recommend this guesthouse. The bathroom was shared with other room, although in the description it was mentioned that it was private. And it was a bit cold in the bathroom, as there's no heating there. Nevertheless it didn't bother me that much.

• Tim (10/5): This was a jewel of a find. The hostess was such an awesome person. She is very welcoming, made certain we had fruit on - Nestled in old part of town with stellar view, comfortable refurbished rooms with excellent air conditioning, fantastic mattress and great hot and cold water pressure. Part of the charm is a 250 meter walk from the main road on narrow cobble stone roads. Keep this in mind if you are traveling with heavy suitcases. Arjan, owner of the guesthouse is happy to help with this task.

The man even waited for us near the bus stop to show us the way (even helped to carry my luggage all the way up), the wife always welcome us with wide smiles and the fruits were very pleasant surprise!! Room was spacious, bet very comfy, location very near to the city center of old town, stunning view from their balcony!! Bathroom is new and super clean, we love everything and will come back next time we are in Berat! Just a precaution that the way up there is with stone, I'd suggest to leave your luggage in the car or if you travel with public transportation, then maybe bring a big rucksack instead :)

Rooms and external bathroom are very clean. The balcony view is spectacular. In the morning they offered orange juice and strawberries on the balcony which was a great surprise. Nothing.

• Tomas (10/5): Clean, cheap and beautifull view on the city. - Clean ,romantic and stunning view on the city. I think the location marked on booking is 100 metres north to the real location of accomodation. Luckily the locals helped us.

The bathroom was shared with 1 other room (not private) but worked out fine, all was very clean and comfortable and had a great location! Would be good to have a bin in the bedroom, the bathroom bin became full with others outside/food waste.

Also the location is perfect and the bathroom was very modern with one of the best showers we've had on our trip. 10/10 recommend. The bathroom is shared with the other room, so this is something to take into account.

The host is extremely friendly, helpful and makes you feel very welcome. She provides first class hospitality. The room is very nice and cozy, and the shared bathroom is newly renovated and very clean. The host cannot speak English but she tries to communicate the best way she can.

Location is perfect to walk around and visit the city, and is located right in the Mangalem neighbourhood with so much charm.

The bathroom is new and has everything you may need. The location stated for the guesthouse is not the correct one, it took us some time to find it within the small streets. They should update the location.

• Florence (10/5): Exceptional - Charming place where you have a cozy room with high quality furniture, bathroom (modern and high quality too) and a little outside space all to yourself in the center of the old town. The hosts were absolutely LOVELY, they even brought us fresh fruit as snack (please don't expect it as it isn't part of the deal) and made us fall in love with Berat right away. Great place, fantastic people. Thank you for everything!
