• Lina (9/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit Blick auf Theth - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastfamilie war sehr nett! Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick! Außerdem gibt es ein üppiges leckeres Frühstück. Auch das Abendessen war sehr lecker!

I felt very much at home with this family; the food was always delicious and the breakfast was generous. The room was spacious and panelled in wood, very cosy and pretty. I’d go back there in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend it to friends.

The food here is phenomenal, we ate here for every meal in their beautiful outdoor heated space. If visiting Theth again, there’s nowhere else we’d want to stay! Bathroom was a little small but nothing major. Only thing I’d say is there was no mirror in the room, which would’ve been a great addition.
• Karl-Heinz (10/5): Wunderbares Guesthouse mit tollem Ausblick ins Theth-Tal - Wunderbare Unterkunft in toller Lage Der Blick aus dem Fenster bzw vom Garten und „Frühstücksraum“ aus über Theth ist herrlich Bei unserer Ankunft erwartete uns ein geheiztes Zimmer und beim Frühstück und Abendessen war der Kaminofen geheizt …total gemütlich und so warm , dass wir sogar die Fenster öffnen konnten. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls traumhaft und vielseitig (Tee, Saft, Obst, fantastische pancakes, Honig, Marmelade, Eier, Käse, Brot …. ) und lassen Sie sich auch das Abendessen nicht entgehen (Vorsicht, die Portionen sind echt groß;))! Und die Gastgeberfamilie ist total nett!

• ian (10/5): A perfect place to stay in Theth. - All the reviews are spot on and to be believed: views, family, food, comfort, location excellent. We loved our evenings in the glass house, lit by fairy lights and warmed by a wood burning stove, as we enjoyed an excellent supper. And in the morning surrounded by the blossoming gardens and towering mountains.

Es gibt jeden Morgen sehr leckeres und herzlich zubereitetes Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

• Sandra (10/5): - Das Gästehaus wie auch unser Zimmer sind sehr schön. Die Ausstattung ist schlicht und ansprechend. Es gibt eine verglaste Terrasse mit Blick ins Tal umd einem Holzofen drinnen. Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt etwas kühl war, war dieser auch abends und morgens an. Grandioses Essen, die Portionen abends sind üppig. Es gibt sehr guten Kaffee. Danke an die Crew!
• Nan (9/5): Comfortable, lovely views, and great food. - This is a comfortable hiker's lodge. We got a triple for the two of us (friends) so we'd have plenty of space--there was a nice shelf for storing our things and a table with chairs in front of the window. The outdoor space is lovely, with grapes dripping from the arbor overhead. There is a glassed-in dining area with lovely views into the valley, perfect if it rains or is chilly (there's a wood stove for heat.) The food was excellent--we particularly enjoyed the stuffed eggplant. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety, including a full pot of mountain tea and honey. Yum! Staff spoke excellent English and were welcoming and helpful. The bathroom has the shower, toilet, bidet, and sink all open together. So once you shower, the floor is wet. They supply slide-sandals so you can keep your feet dry, but it's inconvenient. While this is only a few blocks from the Jezerca market (the shuttle bus stop), it is uphill all the way. We were very glad that we left luggage in Shkoder so we only had light bags to carry.

• Jolana (8/5): Příjemné ubytování s krásným výhledem do údolí a vynikající snídaní. Pouze jedna zásuvka na pokoji, - Snídaně byla pestrá a velmi chutná. Taktéž večeře byla dobrá, vařit umí, ale z části neměli to, co nabízeli v menu. Uvítala bych funkční lampičky u postele místo nefunkční dekorace.

Beautiful, family-run accommodation with a stunning view, close to the end/start of the Valbonne/Theth track with a peaceful outdoor area. Delicious, generous breakfasts and dinners at reasonable prices. Homemade wine and coffee on site. Perfect spot for an authentic Albanian experience.

La chambre était un peu chère pour le peu d'équipements proposés. La famille a des enfants en bas âges et ceux-ci jouaient et criaient sous les fenêtres de notre chambre tôt le matin et tard le soir... Pas idéal après une journée de randonnée.
• Chanel (8/5): - Breakfast was the best we had in Albania, bed was extremely comfortable as well. It’s set a bit further back from the town which is nice to have the view over it. Nice setting with grape vines as shelter. Staff were friendly. We were on the ground floor which was loud and we were unable to block out much light with the curtains. There was no WiFi in our room but our friends in another had it. At this price point I feel all rooms should have access to WiFi.
• Marcus (10/5): - Waren hier während unserer Wanderung auf dem Peaks of Balkans. Können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Leute vor Ort sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Essen schmeckt sehr gut, sowohl Dinner als auch Frühstück. Blick von der Terrasse sehr schön. War perfekt um sich nach der Wanderung zu stärken und zu entspannen.
• IRALLA RITA (7/5): Mejores opciones en la zona - Estaba todo muy limpio, la comida estaba muy buena y el personal era amable. Una de las anfitrionas hablaba muy bien español. Que nos hicieran quitar el calzado a la entrada (aunque lo entendemos, pero nadie nos había advertido de esto previamente). En nuestro caso cogimos la habitación con baño y el baño era muy pequeño e incómodo porque al bañarte se mojaba todo, había mucho olor a humedad y la luz del techo hacía un ruido atroz.

• Emese (10/5): Geweldig eten, personeel, locatie en uitzichten - Fantastisch gastvrij personeel, nog steeds familiezaak. Locatie is goed met de beste uitzichten. Hun avondeten was het beste dat we in 17 dagen Albanie hebben mogen eten, werkelijk fenomenaal, ook het ontbijt was in die lijn. Er is altijd iemand aanwezig waardoor je steeds van een drankje kan genieten of wat uitleg krijgt als je dat wenst vlak na of voor een hike. De bus naar blue eye is ook vlakbij. Wij vonden het helemaal top! Wespen die willen meeproeven zijn een algemene plaag in Albanie, misschien toch proberen wat meer lokaas te plaatsen :)
• Emma (10/5): Loved the views! - Lovely Guesthouse in Theth, a little bit uphill. This very quiet and beautiful views over the valley. We had such a good rest after hiking the Peaks of the Balkans. Food was very good as well. Shared bathroom was spacious and clean.
• ANDREA (8/5): Atención de calidad - Muy buen servicio y atención, muy buenos profesionales y muy atentos y amables, desayunos y cenas muy ricos, buenas instalaciones (jardín, comedor...) y preciosas vistas. El baño de la habitación nuevo y cómodo. Ubicación cercana a la parada de autobuses. La habitación que reservamos no tenía ventana directa a la calle (daba a una galería interior aunque en el anuncio ponía con balcón) y era algo oscura y con poca intimidad. El colchón no era muy cómodo.

• Emily (8/5): A perfect place to base yourself for a few days hiking in the area, simple, generous and accommodating - The guesthouse and surrounding gardens are just stunning- a short walk out of Theth itself with a spectacular view. A great place to unwind with a glass of home made wine after a big day of hiking! The food is simple but delicious and generous traditional Albanian food. The family were lovely and incredibly welcoming. The rooms are simple and what you would expect from a family guesthouse- not a huge amount of soundproofing between rooms.

Hot water in shower though not that I needed it as it was boiling outside. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. It is run by the family that owns the property, who were so kind and accomodating. The food was excellent and the room was so nice and spacious.

The man we interacted with spoke perfect English and was so helpful. I could not recommend staying here more! They were able to store our luggage and provide us lunch for our hiking day. • Moran (9/5): A magical and heartwarming stay in Theth - Perfect location to explore Theth - close to the Blue Eye, waterfall, and zipline. Spectacular views, spotless rooms, comfy beds, a cozy restaurant with delicious homemade food, amazing breakfast in a serene setting where you can sit outside or in a beautiful transparent cabin, and the kindest, most helpful staff - it truly felt like family. In one of our rooms, the water flow in the shower wasn’t very strong when we used it - not sure if this is the case in other rooms.

• Ben (10/5): Fantastic stay in Theth! - We were greeted by the family and felt at home. Dinner was great, breakfast was even better, sitting in the gaziboo under the grapevines. Room was nice and cozy, view is fantastic, and the garden is full of spots to sit at. The house is located around 15 minutes walk (or 2 minute drive I guess) from the village center / station. Everything was great!

Location is great if you are planning to do the Theth-Valbona hike (really close to the starting point). Best food we have had in Albania. Highly recommended. Nothing.

• Boeren (10/5): This is a perfect get a way in the Theth mountains - This is a perfect get a way in the Theth mountains. From here you can walk to the waterfalls and there are shops close by. Many day tours and activities can be booked. The rooms are authentic, the beds are high quality. Breakfast is superb here just like the dinner. Everything is fresh and cooked with love. Best breakfast and dinner so far in Albania. The owners hold this place with their heart and live close to nature. They will do anything to make your stay unforgettable.

• Lana (10/5): - A family run guesthouse in a beautiful and perfect location for hiking in Theth. Made us feel very comfortable and gave us all our meals which were exceptional. The room and facilities were great and exactly what we needed for our stay!
• Nico Faustmann (6/5): - Great breakfast: real coffee, pancakes and eggs No water at night, we showered in cold water but even cold water went out in the middle of the shower, had to wipe the shampoo dry with towel. Could not flush toilette due to no water. No AC, room incredibly hot (hotter than outside). We closed the window and curtain during the day and opened the window and door at night to cool down but was still too hot (we kept the door open the whole night). Sewage smell coming from the bathroom sink.
• Cousineau (10/5): - Nous avons adoré notre séjour de deux nuits dans la guesthouse de la famille Thana. Les installations étaient propres, la chambre très confortable et bien rénovée/décorée. Les hôtes sont plutôt discrets, mais très gentils et nous avons eu un accueil parfait. Nous avons mangé presque tous nos repas sur place, les prix étaient très honnêtes et la nourriture était délicieuse. Et que dire de la vue fabuleuse! La guesthouse est plutôt bien située par rapport au petit centre de Teth, accessible en voiture. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de climatisation, les nuits même en juillet sont plus fraîches à Teth, mais il faisait plus chaud dans la chambre et comme il y a des insectes, pas vraiment possible de laisser la fenêtre ouverte. Il y a un petit ventilateur, mais pour des gens pour qui dormir à la chaleur est impensable, c'est à considérer si vous visitez en été.
