• Sophie (10/5): Logement incroyable en hauteur de Gjirokaster - En hauteur de Gjirokäster, ce logement convenait exactement à ce que nous recherchions : confort, propreté, localisation proche de tout sans être dans les rues touristiques. Accueil merveilleux par la maman et un petit déjeuner de rois préparés par la maman et sa fille, avec adaptation de l'heure selon nos besoins. Le cadre sur les montagnes est fantastique. Nous serions bien resté plus longtemps. À 10 minutes à pieds du château, du pont Ali Pasha, 15min des ruelles touristiques/ bazar. Il y a un très bon restaurant juste à côté et d'autres accessibles en 5 à 10 minutes à pieds. Typiquement on laisse la voiture garer tout le temps que l'on est à visiter la ville. Attention, de Gjirokaster vers le logement, ça grimpe mais à son rythme c'est tout à fait correct. Propreté rien à dire. Connexion WIFI gratuite Parking pour la voiture et explications avec vidéos envoyées avant notre arrivée pour trouver le logement. Indépendant de nos hôtes, un chien faisait la fête toutes les nuits (aboiements incessant).
• Alexandra (10/5): Csodálatos panorámás szoba a szomszédban tradicionális étteremmel - Kilátás a várra, idő előtti bejelentkezés, kényelmes ágyak, fantasztikus 5 fogásos reggeli: tojás, toast, kolbász, jam, vaj, gyümölcs . Mosolygós személyzet, jó parkolási lehetőség Kicsi, de mindennel felszerelt fürdőszoba, a falak vékonyak mint általában mindenhol.
• Jennifer (10/5): Tolle Lage und hilfsbereite Gastgeber - Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer wunderschönen Lage, die uns einen tollen Ausblick ermöglicht hat. Die Gastgeber standen uns bei Fragen und Problemen jederzeit zur Verfügung und haben uns auch immer wieder beim Ausparken des Autos geholfen. Zudem haben wir jeden Morgen ein großartiges Frühstück erhalten. Wir waren sehr begeistert.
• Christina (10/5): - Die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise. Es lädt sehr zum verweilen ein. Jeden Morgen gab es ein ausgiebiges Frühstück und die eigene Küche lädt dazu ein auch selbst zu kochen. Unser Auto wurde netterweise vom Vermieter ein und ausgeparkt. In nur wenigen Minuten ist man in der Altstadt oder auch bei der Ali pasha Bridge

• Samya (10/5): Very hospitable stay with a delicious breakfast. - The breakfast was extensive and very delicious. The hostess is truly amazing. Even though you don’t speak the same language, with hand gestures and Google Translate, you get by quite well. She’s incredibly kind. The accommodation has a small kitchen that you can use. The location is high up, and you have a view of the castle. Additionally, it’s very close to Ali Pasha’s bridge. If you want to walk to the center, it’s about 15 minutes downhill. Keep in mind that you’ll have to go back up. If you have difficulty walking or aren’t in good shape, you can also take the bus up and let them know where you want to get off
• Filipe (10/5): Exceptional - The place had an amazing view of the mountains and the castle. Despite the language barrier the staff was really helpful and friendly. It has private parking but it is a one way garage so you may need to coordinate with other guests in order not to be able to leave. The surrounding area (Old city and the castle) is really nice and accessible on foot and if you need a place to eat we highly recommend Taverna Tradicionale KARDHASHI (both the food and the staff are amazing) Driving in Gjirokastër can be a bit tricky and google maps makes it worst (it is often wrong). Keep in mind that if you want to go to the newest part of town it might be better to go by car since coming back is an uphill climb.

• Brechje (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were the most friendly people. They gave us a drive back down to the bus station for free. They offered to make me tea as I was ill during my stay. The breakfast was amazing. The view was incredible and and as they only have two rooms, the stay was very peaceful. nothing.

Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The guest house is in a great location—quiet but close to everything you need. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

• Estipy (10/5): Exceptional - We love the view !! The house is perfectly locate above of the castle so the view to it an the mountain is perfect. The breakfast was fantastic and the room are nice and cozy. Perfect! We recommend it no doubt! For some people at night it may be a little noisy because there are many animals around, on the other hand it would say that it is easy to connect with nature.

• Lisa (10/5): Lovely Place - We had two great nights here. The surrounding is very nice, the rooms were simple but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was huge but very good - we loved the fruit jams! Dogs were very loud barking in the nights, but not the fault of the hosts.

The view from balcony was really nice with views all over the city and castle. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Mother of the host made us tea every evening from local herbs and was smiling all the time.

• Rafaela (8/5): Very good - Overall, it is a very nice apartment with a incredible view. The breakfast was great and the host was very friendly. I recommend it. The room's dor and windows had just a thin curtain, so a lot of light came inside the room very early in the morning. If you like to sleep in, this might be a problem for you.

It takes a 10 min walk downhill to the Old Bazaar. This guesthouse makes you feel right at home, very nice to place to relax as well. Takes a bit of courage to drive up the hill but it is worth it! Highly recommend! Everything was perfect!
• Nadav (8/5): Very good - The location is out of the center around 15 min of hard walking! But thats the beauty of the place completly queit surroding village life. The host is very friendly. Chould here the other room noise. Host didnt come to check during evening if everything ok. Too much oil at breakfest.

A mix of salad, eggs, bread, locally or homemade jams, fruit, fruit juice, water & milk & the breakfast was different each day. We needed laundry doing & the host was so helpful with this & not only that dropped us at the bus station when we left - 100% recommend It’s up a big hill but it’s so worth it for the views & to stay here
