• Lea (8/5): Trés bien - Le confort de la chambre est parfait, il n’y a rien a dire. Serviettes, frigo, chaussons,savon,… Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Nous sommes autorisés a se garer devant l’établissement. Nous avons eu du mal a accéder a l’établissement, il y a plusieurs sens interdit a braver pour y arriver. C’est a savoir. Nous avons tourné 30min et avons décidé d’y aller pied car la policia bloquait les sens interdits.

Perfectly located between the iconic Kalaja e Gjirokastrës and the historic Shtëpia e Skënduleve, the hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the city’s rich heritage. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, blending traditional charm with modern amenities. The views over the stone city were simply breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality of the staff. They were attentive, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations and anything we needed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with local flavors that gave a true taste of the region. I highly recommend Silver Hill Hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokastër. A perfect combination of location, comfort, and genuine Albanian hospitality.

We also discovered that there is a bus station stop right outside the hotel (ask the host), with buses that take you directly to the downtown bus station and back. This make it easyer to get to the hotel without needing to take a taxi or walk long distances. We definitely recommend it.

• Helena (10/5): Un pueblo encantador en un alojamiento más encantador aún - Todo fue ideal: 🅿️ No tienen parking como tal pero nos dejaron dejar el coche los dos días en la puerta, dado que se encuentra en pleno casco antiguo. 🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️ Se puede ir andando a todos lados del centro y al castillo para visitarlos. 🫧 Super limpio todo y con el baño recién reformado 💸 Muy buena relación calidad-precio sin duda!! 🛏️ La habitación era pequeña pero muy cómoda y el baño recién reformado. ☕️ Desayuno incluido sencillo pero casero y muy muy rico. Nos lo cocinaban al momento. Huevos de diferentes formas cocinados, tomate, queso, y variaban entre otros complementos a parte de una especia de buñuelos locales. Con Te y Zumo. 🤤 Maravillosa toda la comida. ⛰️ Hay dos terrazas comunes con unas vistas espectaculares a la montaña. 🙏🏽 Estaban haciendo reformas en el sitio y siempre esperaban a que nos levantáramos para comenzar y paraban cuando estábamos en la habitación en algún momento puntual. Muy gentiles. Sin duda repetiría !! No es que no nos gustara, simplemente por prevenir a la gente: llegar en coche sin conocer la zona es complicado porque Google Maps y Maps te mandan por un sitio que esta cerrado que es el pleno casco antiguo. Gracias a que la gente es super amable, un local nos indicó como llegar por detrás del castillo por una carretera diferente. Simplemente por tenerlo en cuenta. No hacer caso a los mapas y preguntar a la gente ☺️🙏🏽

The rooms were clean and homey. There is not a lot of sound proofing. Our last night there was a family with two young children that were screaming and yelling until midnight and then they were up and at it again the next morning at 6am. We heard everything.

The property has a traditional style that adds so much charm and authenticity to the experience, it truly felt special and memorable. The host was super, super nice and made us feel very welcomed, and all the staff were equally kind, attentive, and friendly. The price is incredibly good considering the quality of the place, the service, and the overall atmosphere. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet area, yet only a 3 minute walk to the lively bazar. The room was spotless, very cosy, and had everything we needed. The whole guest house has such a positive, warm energy. Exactly as described in the photos Breakfast was generous, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back here! Nothing to dislike at all, our stay was flawless from start to finish.

• Jennifer (9/5): . - Excellent location near the old town. There is parking right outside the property (on flat ground!). Comfy bed. The room itself is quite compact. The breakfast plaza has a great view. One of the shutters did not close (it felt very fragile) so it was not very dark in the room during sunrise.
