Guest Reviews
- Sandeep (10/5): Perfect stay for quick one or two stop over - The property was well kept with traditional touch right at the heart of Berat with amazing views all over the day and night. More breakfast options maybe
- Anna (10/5): - Beautiful and nice host The parking on the street is not really convenient. We parked down by the river at a public parking for 6 euro a night instead.
- Yannick (8/5): -
- Sigita (10/5): Labai GERA - Nuostabi vieta!

- aleksanra (10/5): - Widok z okna :) Brak
Cana nieadekwatna do jakości.
- del barrio (10/5): - It was very cozy and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the views were great. Also; the owners and workers were very nice to us. Not a bad thing, just for other guests to know, it’s better to park in the man street as the street to the apartment is very narrow. The owners and neighbors helped us navigate our way back backwards!

A házigazdák vendégszeretete fantasztikus. Ingyenes parkolás a folyó túloldalán a híd lábánál. Mindenkinek ajánlom a szállást! Csodálatos.
- Jens (10/5): Wunderschöne Zeit in Berat - Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen Stadt. Naku war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir haben glückliche Tage in Berat verbracht. Vielen Dank 🥰 -

- Helen (10/5): - Nestled along the riverbank, this accommodation stole my heart from the moment I stepped inside. The interiors are a masterpiece of beautiful old stone style, think timeless stone walls, rustic charm, and authentic details that whisper stories of history in every corner. But the real showstopper is the breathtaking terrace, a spacious haven overlooking the gently flowing river and the majestic tower in the distance. What elevated this stay to unforgettable were the owners' incredible hospitality. They welcomed us like old friends, sharing local tips, fresh homemade treats.Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly at home. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat with stunning views and heartfelt service, this is it, five stars without hesitation! Nothing, everything was great.
- Sanja (7/5): - Schöne Aussicht von der Terrasse.
Gute Lage.
- Ahmed (10/5): - Friendly host family clean rooms and nice breakfast
- Eleanor (10/5): Great stay - great location, a perfect base for exploring beautiful berat!

- Michela (9/5): - Posizione eccellente, staff gentilissimo, pulizia

- Egger-Gassner (10/5): - Great Host, super friendly and welcoming. The location is also super cool! Would book again for sure!
- Koninkx (9/5): A nice guesthouse and a super friendly owner. It was a lovely stay - - Super friendly owners of the guesthouse.
- The room was clean and nice.
- The location of the guesthouse is great
- the view from the balcony is beautiful. - The bathroom of our room was small, so everything gets wet when you take a shower.
- The owners are really friendly but don’t speak english. So communication is a bit complicated.
- The breakfast is basic but ok.
Goede schoenen aanbevolen, overal steile weggetjes. Ontbijt was niet onze smaak.
- Eva (5/5): -
- Scott (8/5): -
- László (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacalex (10/5): Cozy budget friendly guest house. - The room has a cozy vibe and the washroom is separate but I did not find any issue with it. The hosts were elderly people very warm and welcoming and had small beautiful chit chat. It has a balcony with a good view. Parking is 10 step down at the entrance of the road the guest house has also free parking but since it's uphill many may find it difficult to park but can park car at private parking with 6 euros 24hours and many parking areas nearby rather than the other side of the road It should have a mirror in the room.
- Kupfers (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely Traditional Experience with a splendid view - This is such a lovely place. Up on the hill in the traditional city across the river, the balcony has a beautiful view of the castle and the city across the river.
It was really special to stay with a family, who were so kind and welcoming. The breakfast was different every day. It was delicious and filling. If you are arriving by car, you will need to drive up the narrow cobblestone road, it is not obvious but it is accurate on Google maps.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anique (9/5): Superb - Perfect location with an amazing view. The owners are very friendly.
- Anna (9/5): Great stay - extremely friendly host. beautiful hotel and good location, but be ready for a small hike. the room was very cozy, but the floor was kinda cold. I would suggest putting more carpets and blankets. breakfast was amazing. also the room had an amazing balcony with stunning view. bad wifi, instructions weren't clear from the beginning, was kinda cold.
- Bernadet (10/5): Beautiful place in a the coziest alleys of Berat. - We were warmly welcomed and shown around the house. The area where you stay is the oldest part of Berat, beautiful alleys! Moreover, you have a beautiful view of the city with a thousand windows. We were allowed to use the kitchen and it was very nice to spend some time with the host. Parking was too challenging for us in the narrow streets, but is possible. Fortunately, there was a nice neighbor who could help us turn the car in the street. All in all a warm stay. -
- Josephine (8/5): Very good - We had a nice stay at the guesthouse belle view. Nice breakfast and a friendly host! The shower was a wasn’t very hot but maybe we were just lucky!
- Anete (9/5): Ancient family house that transports you back in time - Family business - the hosts are very sweet and take care of your needs. We had a feeling of walking in a family house, which it actually is. The rooms have ancient interior (brick walls, wooden wardrobes, old black and white photos).
The breakfast (with a homemade cake one morning) was fulfilling. The best spot is a rooftop lounge with a good view of Berat, where you can chill and enjoy your coffee or glass of wine.
- Behar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Javier (7/5): Good -
- Edita (10/5): Nice view place 🤩 - Stay for one rainy night but very good equiped, perfect hard comfy beds!!! friendly owner help us with parking, kids were playing with seashells And local toys in room which Is interconnected with large terrace...restaurants Are few Steps from door And no problem with take Away food So We were satisfied with all And can say only Faleminderit 🙏🏼 😊 The terrace was not covered (Only partially roofed) so we could not use the furniture in sitting area...Everything was soaked after heavy rain...
- Laura (7/5): Good location for a short stay - Good location Bathroom was very small
- Karol (9/5): Superb - The city is amaizing. Hotel is situated near the center. Hosts are one of the best people's I have met.
- Patrycja (10/5): Exceptional - A clean, cosy room with a terrace from which there is a beautiful view of the city. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We felt at home here. I wholeheartedly recommend. 😊
- Siert (9/5): Superb - The hosts were very kind. Not all hosts speak English, but we're nevertheless delightful and extremely caring. The view from the terrace outside the room was outstanding.
- Tim (9/5): Great stay! - Indeed a very nice view over Berat, the room was in a very nice Albanian style and big. The terrace was also super. The lady was very friendly and even gave us some soup. Breakfast also super nice. It's hard to park at the guesthouse and usually full, but you can park a few 100 meters away. Which is alright if you have a backpack but not a suitcase, because of the gobble road. Furthermore all good!
- Sanne (9/5): Superb - Great location, nice room, delicious breakfast. All in all we enjoyed our stay, and it was great value. Parking can be a bit difficult, we parked just next to the apartment one day but it was very narrow and challenging, while the other day we parked down by the river, where to parking was very full.
As for the family room, the shower is right next to the toilet and the bathroom floods a little bit. No big issue but just a bit inconvenient.
- Fatlum (10/5): Exceptional - Nice traditional breakfast, great location with some excellent views of Berat 😊
- Ross (9/5): Superb - The view from the shared terrace is beautiful. Ola was a very nice host. The byrek/banitsa for breakfast was very tasty but there wasn't any coffee. The price is very reasonable for what you get. There is limited and hard-to-access parking up the narrow street but there is a free car park next to the river with ample spaces and then a 5 minute walk up the steep cobbled street.
The shared bathroom was clean and functional but the shower head does fall from its bracket and could use some attention. Cash only.
- Farah (8/5): Very good - View Toilet
- Nadia (9/5): Superb -
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francesca (7/5): Good - Great location in Gorica. The room and the bathroom were clean and quite tidy. Beautiful panorama on the terrace of the guesthouse. The breakfast was not very good. The products did not seem very fresh.
- Jenna (9/5): Superb -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful, amazing view, cool position
- Lennart (10/5): Relaxed stay with view of the river and old city of Berat - The hosts very lovely and the view from the terrace / balcony was great
- Kadri (9/5): Superb - All goof The bunkbed made a lot of noise when you moved yourself in bed, otherwise all good.
- Henryk (10/5): Great place. Beautiful view. Wonderful owners! - Just perfect! We were at... home there!
It is just an excellent B&B. High level owner, very helpful and friendly! You feel friends from the very first moment. Lovely couple! Very good location, even needs som walking up (good for your health). There is a place for a car next to door (free!). Quiet room. Great breakfast. Feeling at home from the first moment!!! And... Naku is a fan of Jagiellonia Bialystok :-) We did not like that we stay there for only few days. We want more!
- Mirela (8/5): Very good -
- Haley (9/5): A great place to stay to enjoy Berat - Excellent location, very friendly and helpful hosts, lovely terrace and unique design of the rooms. Great value. The shared bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, and there was no coffee with the breakfast. I would have liked a pastry or sweet option at breakfast. The closet was also full of coats so we couldn’t hang anything up.
- Sheetal (9/5): Great location, clean room, might take few minutes to find the place though - The room, balcony view was really nice. Location is really good, 5min walk to the bridge. Location not found easily, look around carefully for the guesthouse board; its quite small. Breakfast was ok.
- Allison (10/5): Relaxing and welcoming spot for a solo traveler. - Wonderful place, the hosts were so kind. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and as a solo traveler it was nice to sit with the other guests and chat. the hosts went out of their way to help me handle my luggage. Location is nice, on the quieter side yet still very convenient to walk to the center. The patio is a lovely spot to relax as well. It was perfect. I had a bit of a struggle finding the place, maybe clearer instructions would have helped.
- Sébastien (8/5): I warmly recommend this place! - This guest house is one of the best ones I had in Albania. The family is really friendly and the house is welcoming and very clean. It’s very close to the historical centre and very convenient to go to the bars and cafés. The breakfast could be a bit more attractive. Not even coffee or butter…
- Julie (8/5): Nice, clean guesthouse in a great area - Nice guesthouse, clean, good breakfast . Perfect location
- Darja (10/5): Very beautiful family “hotel” , right in heart of Berat .We absolutely loved it 😳 -
- Irena (9/5): Superb - Great breakfast and really nice guys that rent this apartmant. Amazing view. Bunk beds are quite bouncy.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Murray (8/5): Very good -
- Ashley (10/5): A perfect stay! - Breakfast was great! Lots of yummy food! The location was great, walking distance to everything! The hosts were so kind and wonderful! Would definitely recommend!
- Peter (8/5): Adequate - The location is good, a short distance from the bridges across the river to the fort. There is parking on the road leading up to the Guesthouse but not all the way (there is construction between the place I parked and the Guesthouse, and turning around could be an issue if you don't' have a small car). WiFi was good. 1. Bedroom: see-through curtains do not ensure privacy if someone is on the balcony outside the room. No trash container in room. Bed was too short (I am tall)
2. Shared Bathroom: no soap (liquid or solid), and no hand towel (you have to bring yours from the room) - given that this is a "shared" space and you don't know other people's hygiene standards, there should be soap and a hand towel for guests to use that is replaced daily.
3. Breakfast - food was adequate, but no knife (unless you take one from the fruit bowl), and no coffee.
4. Property owners: don't expect a meet & greet, or anyone at breakfast.
- Silke (10/5): Lovely guesthouse with very friendly owners - We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved the place. Very friendly family, delicious breakfast with fresh fruits, amazing view from the balcony and the possibility to wash your clothes. Would definetely recommend! They also have a bar in town with nice pizza's.
- Redmer (8/5): Very good - The place has a beautiful balcony with a nice view over Berat. The traditional breakfast is also a plus. The shower doesn’t have a curtain and the door is made of a kind of glass - not a lot of privacy.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with views of old Berat town, however walking distance to everything, our hosts were very nice and helpful. Judging by this experience I am thinking of spending more of my holidays in guesthouses from nowcon The only thing is there was no parking so we had to pay 2€ per day for a car-park
- Katarzyna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alberto (9/5): Great location to enjoy the city. - Great location and nice room with balcony. Breakfast does not worth it.
- Mariovidal (8/5): Very good -
- Andreea (8/5): Nice family - great view and breakfest - The hosts were very nice and friendly; the view from the terrace is amazing; the location in the old town (but not the main one - which makes is a bit nicer as it is less crowded); the breakfast was great; the room we had was in plain sun at mid day- so in the mid day we had to stay with the blinds on - but that is an inconvenience only if you stay in the room during the day. if you have trolley the road till the house may be a bit harder -with a back pack is ok
- Alfons (9/5): A lovely stay with a nice view on Berat - The room is very nice and clean. Great hosts, who answered all my questions. The balcony is big with and the view (as you can see on the map) is not right in front of the city but it's nice. In the balcony there are also two little sofas. The breakfast was good, a typical Albanian breakfast with eggs, salad, cheese, sausage, bread, coffee and watermelon. The blinds are not enough to keep out the light.
- Yana (10/5): We had a really good stay and lovely contact with the host, Nnaku! - Breakfast was really good (they say that it is at 8 but it is really no problem if you go eat it later, the eggs might be a bit cold but if that doesn't bother you, you're fine) - location is super good, in an old neighbourhood, close to everything - the hosts are super super nice ! Only small correction: they say you can go park there with your car, but we did and do not recommend it. It is a really small street and there are almost no parking spots. It's better to park down the road, there is so much more space and it will avoid some stress.
- Raul (9/5): Superb - Friendly host
Homemade breakfast
Good location
Good views from the terrace A bit difficult to access by car (narrow stone road)
The lamp in the room didn't work
- Lucy-sue (8/5): Very good -
- Megan (10/5): Perfect place to stay! - The location was perfect, with amazing views and walking distance from everything! Hosts were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The only downside was there was no bin in the bedroom which would be useful!
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional - Incredibly friendly host who offered lots of good advice. Balcony was wonderful and spacious.
- Ilana (10/5): Lovely house well located - We had a lovely stay in this guest house! The room was very clean and we had access to the balcony that has a great view. The host was very friendly and prepared a good breakfast in the morning
- Anxhelo (10/5): Exceptional - Best guesthouse i've ever been in. The staff were very friendly, they cooked a big breakfast every morning, they helped us with restaurants and even brought us to see the waterfall of Bogove and The Osumi'Canyon, we swam through the whole canyon and ate a big big lunch made by a grill house with fresh meat and all sorts of thigs.
Thank you Naku for everything, you made our visit to Breat very special.
- Zsófia (9/5): I think for this amount of money it is a perfect offer. - The owner was really kind and flexible. The view was really nice and because of that it was really worth it. Everything was clean and the breakfast was always delicous and a lot. The bathroom was comfortable sized and there was a huge terrace from our room for chilling. The house was situated on a nice district. The room was a bit smaller than we expected. The bathroom was on the corridor and we thought it is attached to the room. But it was not disturbbing.
- Connor (10/5): Great - Very nice, genuine and welcoming family. A true Albanian experience. They have a lovely family ran cafe nearby that is also worth going to.
- Lala (10/5): Nice place to stay in Berat - Great location in Gorica & in front of Mangalemi and very friendly & helpful hosts.
Very big and spacious room.
- Ricky (9/5): Great place to stay in Berat with great view - Hosts were friendly and welcoming, room was spacious with a nice balcony and view. Great location. Nice and quiet. No car noises. Internet was great. Shower was sometimes just warm and not hot.
- Rae (8/5): Nice family run place - This is a family run guest house... in their actual home. Everyone in the family is very nice. They also own a cafe and the owner made us a very good Greek frappe coffee as a welcome drink. It has a view of the old town from across the river and is a good location for catching the bus, walking to cafes, or going to the castle. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a bit of a communication issue at check-in. We don't speak Albanian and the older family members do not speak English. We tried to use a translation app but had some difficulties... we had reserved a room with a queen and a bunk, but the owner put us in a 1-bed room and quoted a price that didn't match what was on Booking (I get discounts as a genius). We were very tired from traveling that day, so it was a somewhat frustrating experience at the time... but in the end everything worked out.
- Hana (10/5): fantastic place to stay! - great location only a few minutes walk to the centre and many eateries and bars, lovely staff and good amenities such as washing machine, terrace, bathroom. breakfast provided was average but we prefer to eat breakfast at a bakery so we didn’t mind this
- Tiril (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and a great view. Very friendly host!
