• Paula (10/5): Fantastisch - De gastvrijheid heerlijk eten vriendelijkheid van de mensen.
• Bart (8/5): Sfeervol aangekleed met traditionele ambachten en natuurlijk de herinneringen aan Lord Byron. - Behulpzame mensen die hun best voor je doen, Arber spreekt goed Engels, dat scheelt. Er stond een piano en een gitaar, waarop gasten speelden. Dat was erg sfeervol en gezellig. Ook de ligging aan de rivier met eigen tuin is fraai. Handig ook dat het aan de doorgaande weg ligt, waardoor je gemakkelijke bereibaarheid hebt met auto. Het zwembad bevatte helaas geen water. Maar het was hoe dan ook toch te koud om te zwemmen. Het gezellige centrum van Tepelene is te ver om te lopen. Dat vonden wij niet erg, maar kan als een nadeel worden ervaren.

Das Essen war hervorragend und die Gastfreundschaft war außergewöhnlich – wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Frau und Herr Çollaku sowie ihre zwei wunderbaren Kinder haben uns mit so viel Herzlichkeit empfangen. Wir sind überglücklich über unseren Aufenthalt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder zurück. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Maybe the food was a little pricier than other places we had eaten (but it was good), The only other thing is if you wanted to walk towards the town, the road didn't seem the safest. Perhaps there was a better route that we didn't know about.
• Pille (10/5): A very charming small hotel on a large territory. - A very pleasant hotel 30km from Gjirokastër. Beautiful large territory by the river, covered with olive trees. Two comfortable low-rise buildings with a pool, sun umbrellas, and sun loungers between them. Very pleasant hosts. Extremely friendly dogs and one particularly communicative cat added even more positive points. The room was spacious and very clean. The local restaurant offers a very tasty dinner and breakfast. One of the most pleasant accommodations we have stayed in. Nothing at all.

Prachtige locatie met mooie kamers en zwembad met zicht zicht op de bergen. En daar bovenop nog eens een top restaurant met heerlijke gerechten bereid met lokale producten. /

The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable. The only downside was that the mattresses could be renewed, as it affected our quality of sleep.

C'est un peu dommage au niveau tranquillité.

Alles ziet er netjes uit en is schoon. Ook het ontbijt was super! Wij vonden persoonlijk het bed wat minder.

• Luuk (10/5): Incredible - This guesthouse is run by a lovely family who are friendly and helpful. Rooms are great, pool is amazing, the food is local / selfmade and prepared freshly in the kitchen. We also did their cooking class, which we highly reccomend to anyone. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate and book straight away!

• fabrizio (1/5): Pessimo - Nulla 1) La scortesia di un ragazzo che credo sia il gestore o il titolare: colazione inclusa, ma bevande come cappuccino e caffè sono a pagamento a parte; non mi ha permesso di arrivare vicino la stanza per scaricare le valigie quando il giorno dopo ho visto altre famiglie farlo.... E l'arroganza con cui si è rivolto a noi anche solo per aver fatto semplicei domande... È incommentabile! 2) la qualità del cibo e della cucina è stata pessima sia a colazione sia a cena; 3) la struttura sporca e usurata come fosse abbandonata; 4) in 4 giorni mai un minimo di pulizia in stanza, cambio lenzuola o asciugamani; 5) I lettini in piscina sono avvitati al pavimento, non si possono spostare per ripararsi dal sole, assurdo!
• Claire (10/5): Our best stay in Albania - loved everything about it! - Our absolute favourite place that we stayed in Albania. What a gorgeous guesthouse. Beautiful views, a lovely pool, rooms arranged around the pool, gorgeous dogs and cats, plenty of areas to relax looking at the mountains, a little 'beach' with steps to walk down to the river (more of a stream in the summer, but beautiful anyway), and the best food in Albania. I'm not kidding. You have to eat dinner here. Family run, with dad as the chef, the wines, the steak, the vongole ... just sensational. And an incredible breakfast to match. We loved chatting to the son, who has fantastic English, and we were made to feel welcome and at ease from the moment we arrived. If only we had more time here! If this place is available, book it immediately - you won't regret it! Albanian hospitality at its finest! Loved everything about this beautiful place.

• Lisa (10/5): A little piece of paradise - What an amazing place! It’s a little piece of paradise. It’s so peaceful, and we loved the river ‘beach’. The family are all so helpful and the breakfast is delicious. We were booked for 3 nights but I increased to 4 at the last minute and so glad we did. It was 39 degrees whilst we were there so a bit of a hike into town but we found an amazing bar with a view of the valley and a super restaurant just a very short walk away. We ate figs from the trees, saw a barn owl and a wild tortoise and generally had the best time! Nothing
• Angélique (10/5): - Nous avons séjourné qu'une nuit à Lord Bryon mais nous avons dîner et pris le petit-déjeuner au restaurant et autant vous dire que depuis le début de notre séjour (7 jours déjeunerde passés), c'est ici que nous avons le mieux mangé. Les chambres sont confortables et propres. C'est simple, pas de chichi et c'est parfait ! On s'y sent bien au point de regretter de ne pas y rester une nuit de plus. L'accueil des hôtes est top ! L'un d'eux parle bien le français ! Je vous recommande vivement cet arrêt. Et si vous n'y dormez pas allez au moins déjeuner ou dîner 😉

• Klara (10/5): Wir haben eine wunderschöne Auszeit an diesem besonderen Ort genossen! - Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und herzlich! Der Fluss ist wunderschön und glasklar. Der Pool ist sehr charmant und die Zimmer sauber und schön. Das Badezimmer ist ebenso modern und sehr sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant wird vom Familienvater gekocht und ist köstlich! Das Frühstück bereitet die Mutter zu und es ist außergewöhnlich! Das Areal der Anlage ist die Farm der Familie und man spaziert vom Restaurant zu den Zimmern durch einen Olivenhain. Es gibt außerdem einen Kater, der sich beim Essen gern in der Nähe der Gäste aufhält und einen freundlichen großen Hund. Es gibt außerdem viele selbstgemachte Köstlichkeiten und selbstgemachte Naturkosmetikprodukte direkt vor Ort zu kaufen. Wir lieben alles an diesem wunderschönen Ort!

• Ludivine (9/5): Nourriture délicieuse ! - Très bel hôtel, une grande propriété. Nous avions une chambre près de la piscine, c’était agréable d’être juste en face. Le dîner a été magnifique, un délice, face à la rivière. Une huile d’olive comme nous en avons jamais goûté d’aussi bonne. Le petit-déjeuner (buffet) riche et varié. Bravo à toute la famille pour ses propres produits, ce repas reste gravé dans nos mémoires. Notre chambre, bien que fonctionnelle (elle ressemblait à une chambre de chalet de montagne, avec du bois) était mimi mais pourrait être rafraîchie. Bref nous avons eu des effluves de pipi de chats mâles (non castrés bien sûr) qui font leurs besoins autour des chambres, c’est vraiment pas de chance, ces odeurs très fortes passent au travers des fenêtres.
• Remy (8/5): Top! - Personeel erg vriendelijk, ontbijt top en de locatie lekker rustig. Kamers zijn schoon, koeling en de airco doen goed hun werk. Het eten in het restaurant echt een aanrader, de T-bone steak was echt een topper en de familie is erg gastvrij m. De producten die je kan kopen bij ze ook erg leuk. - Bij de boeking stond geen kinderen onder de 14 jaar maar helaas was dat niet zo in ons geval. Kinderen die om 08:00 in de ochtend al herrie maakte in het zwembad was een beetje jammer voor de rust. - Het zwembad had aanslag aan de rand.

However , being a family business - they might need a little extra staffing help .
• Natasha (10/5): Die Lage ist wunderschön und angenehm ruhig, wenn man Erholung braucht. - Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, und es wurde auf alle unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Ich habe mich rundum wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und alles hausgemacht – man schmeckt die Liebe zum Detail! Die Lage ist wunderschön und angenehm ruhig – ideal für Familien und zur Erholung. Absolut empfehlenswert!

• Snoepie (9/5): - Zeer aangename mensen, behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk. Wij hadden een dokter nodig en deden er alles aan om ons te helpen. Zeer lekker eten in het restaurant en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Niet veel te doen in de buurt maar wel perfect om naar de thermaalbaden te gaan in permet of rafting in de Vjosa.
• Mieke (6/5): Matige locatie - Ontbijt was ok, het zwembad was ijskoud want het was net bijgevuld en was niet bijzonder proper. Eigenlijk was het niet zo slecht maar er was gewoon geen fijne vibe op de locatie. We hebben in faciliteiten gelogeerd in Albanië die beperkter en kleiner waren maar waar het aangenamer vertoeven was. De sfeer en vibe was wat killig.

• Detlev (10/5): Top-Empfehlung, gutes Standquartier - Dass ich mich schon zum zweiten Mal im "Lord Byron" einquartiert habe, sagt eigentlich alles ... Das erste Mal war ich allein da, jetzt wollte ich es meiner Frau zeigen (und natürlich die Umgebung). Während Rezeption und Restaurant direkt an der Straße liegen, sind die zwei Reihen Bungalows etwas zurückgesetzt und damit ruhig gelegen. Zwischen den zwei Zeilen liegt ein kleiner, sauberer Pool und Sonnenliegen. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und komplett eingerichtet, incl. Wäscheständer vor der Tür. Das gute Restaurant mit einer kleinen, aber feinen Karte liegt im Bereich der Rezeption, man kann aber auch schön im Garten und mit Blick auf die Benja, einem kleinen Fluss, der hier in die Vjosa mündet, essen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Für meine Frau war ein besonderes Highlight: Über eine Treppe kann man an den klaren Gebirgsfluss/-bach hinunter- und dann hineinsteigen - bei der diesjährigen Hitze eine Wohltat. Zudem befinden sich in dem Bereich auch Sonnenliegen und -schirme. Die Inhaberfamilie hatte ich vom ersten Mal in guter Erinnerung, auch diesmal wurden wir herzlich empfangen und uns fehlte es an nichts. Tepelene und das "Lord Byron" eignen sich gut für die Erkundung der Umgebung, etwa der Vjosa-Schlucht, des Kurvelesh (immer an der Benja lang ...) oder auch nach Gjirokaster, das man innerhalb 20 Minuten erreichen kann. Also: Von uns aus eine Top-Empfehlung, immer wieder gerne! nichts
• Leo (9/5): Perfecte plasts om een tussenhalte in je reis te plannen! - Rustige ligging van de vakantie woningen bij het zwembad! Zeer vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt en mooie tuin. Het nogal agressief geblaf van de honden naast het wandelpad als je ‘s avonds naar je huisje wandelde!
• Johannes (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf - Ideale uitvalbasis voor dagtripjes om daarna lekker te relaxen bij het zwembad. Heel uitgebreid en goed ontbijtbuffet.
• Micheline (8/5): Prima rustig verblijf met mooi uitzicht. - De locatie met uitzicht en de tuin. Jammergenoeg deed de airco het in de ochtend niet vanwege een stroomstoring. Hierdoor hadden we ook geen koffie.

(8/5): Heerlijk genoten gedurende 3 dagen, met name ook van het zeer vriendelijke personeel. - Zeer vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt, prima locatie (paar minuten met de auto van een supermarkt en de stad). Diner was prima, alhoewel de keuze in het restaurant van de accommodatie niet heel uitgebreid was. Waar ik mij wat aan stoorde was dat er her en der sigarettenpeuken lagen, dit werd ook niet opgeruimd door het personeel. Verder was kleine zaken qua onderhoud die men nog op zou kunnen pakken, maar op zich is dit geen drama.

• Helmuth (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt 🥰 - Die Lage ist ok. Der Aufenthalt im Lord Byron ist immer superschön. Das gute Essen, alles frisch gekocht, der Pool - einfach alles. Wir haben diese Unterkunft seit einiger Zeit in unseren Standard übernommen, wenn wir hier vorbeikommen. Auch das Frühstück ist der Hit!!
• Karen (9/5): - Zeer comfortabele boxspring en ruime douche. Aangenaam zwembad, toegang tot de rivier met een paar zonnebedjes beneden. Vriendelijke bediening en zeer hulpvaardig. Geen opmerkingen over de accomodatie. Zonder auto is Tepelenë moeilijk te bereiken en beperkte bezienswaardigheden. Wel leuk als tussenstop.
• elea (10/5): Coup de coeur 💜 - Tout était génial ! Nous aurions aimé y rester une semaine tellement nous nous y sommes sentis bien. Très beau domaine, calme, à l'abri du tourisme. Personnel adorable. Nous avons pu communiquer en français avec l'un des fils qui a été super. La nourriture est bonne, le petit déjeuner buffet au top avec beaucoup de choix. La piscine est vraiment agréable avec possibilité d'aller à la rivière juste en dessous. Le cadre est magnifique. Cet endroit a été notre coup de coeur du voyage. Je rajoute que l'on a même ramené des souvenirs car ils font eux mêmes leur huile d'olive, confiture, savons etc Rien
• Bart (9/5): Echt een geweldige plek waar je heerlijk verwend wordt. - Het hotel is een soort agroturismo en daardoor is het eten en drinken echt geweldig. Personeel is echt heel vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels. Wat heerlijk is dat je aan de rivier kan zitten op bedjes. Een heerlijke afkoeling als het echt heel warm is. Kamer is prima. Goed bed, goeie douche. Fantastisch ontbijt Goeie uitvalsbasis naar Gjirokaster of Tepelene of tussenstop tussen noord en zuid. Het hotel ligt aan doorgaande weg naar zuiden. Je hebt er geen last van in de kamer, maar op het terras hoor je wel verkeer. Wij hadden dat geen last van, maar kan voor anderen misschien storend zijn.

On a eu l’impression d’être dans une maison de campagne, idéal pour le repos et la détente. De notre côté c’était it en transition pour la Riviera 👌 La piscine est la bienvenue dans ce bel à droit de l’Albanie. Cerise sur le gâteau one droit privé et secret de l’hôtel qui est incroyable 🤫🤩 Des lieux et des gens comme ça, on ne peut qu’aimer les vacances et l’Albanie 🇦🇱
• Dominique (10/5): Oasis idéale pour visiter Girokaster et la région - Idéalement situé à l’écart des centres urbains mais pas loin de Girokaster si on est motorisé, cette oasis près de la rivière dans un beau jardin est vraiment agréable. Accueil très chaleureux et chambre neuves de plain pied autour de la piscine, tout est très propre, bien équipé et confortable. Serviettes pour la piscine fournies. • Paulina (10/5): Sehr gastfreundliche Familie mit einem gepflegtem Anwesen! - Die Familie war sehr freundlich, das Essen auch immer frisch und sehr gut! Außerdem war die Lage direkt am Fluss mit Blick auf die Berge sehr schön. Beim Frühstück direkt auf der Terrasse oberhalb des Flusses war der Ausblick wunderschön. Da wir vor der Hauptsaison unterwegs waren, war der Pool leider noch nicht befüllt. Auf den Liegen konnte man trotzdem wunderbar entspannen.
