• Dominique (9/5): - L'accueil est très chaleureux et le thé aux herbes locales est offert. Le petit déjeuner est possible et est très bon et copieux. La proximité du château fait que l'on peut y aller à pied, même si le dénivelé est fort.

• Giselle (10/5): - Exceptional. Very comfy and clean. Our host even heated up our left over pasta and gave us a couple of bio eggs to boil. Unfortunately we didn't have breakfast, but we were offered coffee and she gave us some Albanian petulla (I think). The place was very homely and had a traditional Albanian family feel. The car parking space was large and flat, as the location is near the castle on top of the hill, it was appreciated by us on 2 motorbikes. Nothing to report.

• Henna (10/5): - The location is excellent, 10 minutes walk to the castle and the old town. Taxi from the bus station cost 5 euros. The accommodation has a lovely view. • Mendonça (6/5): - Extremely nice and welcoming staff Great tea Very cozy place and comfortable beds Relatively good location to the center Great view of the outskirts of the center and the clock tower Had to wait 30 min to get in my room Not so great location from the bus station with extremely steep hills and very run down street (i know this isn't the fault of the guest house and it's part of the city infrastructure but it didn't help) My boiler wasnt working properly so I had to shower with ice cold water Even though the place was very cozy it still felt a bit outdated (for example no tv and not so great Wi-Fi) Not expensive by any means but there were options that were clearly less expensive Staff was nowhere to be found most of the time I didn't even know if they were at the property

• Alexandra (10/5): - Πολύ όμορφη τοποθεσία, η κυρία Αλντινα πολύ ευγενική μας υποδέχτηκε με το χαμόγελο κ την καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση. Πολύ καθαρό και όμορφο το δωμάτιο, παρόλο που κλείσαμε τελευταία στιγμή ... Υπέροχη θέα, απ' τη μια πλευρά το κάστρο και απ' την άλλη όλο το Αργυρόκαστρο στα πόδια μας, ιδιωτικό κλειστό πάρκινγκ. Μας πρόσφερε καφεδάκι, τσάι του βουνού το πρωί, που τα απολαυσαμε στο μπαλκόνι με την υπέροχη θέα, δεν υπάρχουν λόγια... Πολύ φιλόξενοι εννοείται ότι αν ξανάρθουμε Αργυρόκαστρο εκεί θα πάμε!! Λίγο μακριά απ' το κέντρο θέλει αρκετό περπάτημα, όμως ήταν ευκαιρία και για περπάτημα και για να δούμε περισσότερα μέρη

J’ai été logée dans un chalet magnifique alors que ma reservation prévoyait une chambre, j’ai donc payé bien moins cher que la prestation qui m’a été offerte. J’ai eu beaucoup de mal à trouver le lieu, le gps était fou et, par whatsapp, les hôtes étaient très présents. Et, au final, ils ont envoyé quelqu’un pour me récupérer là où j’étais. Incroyable gentillesse et professionnalisme !! Adelina est merveilleuse, son mari est tout aussi adorable. Hélas, il y a la barrière de la langue mais, malgré cela, j’ai été entourée d’amour et d’attentions pendant mon séjour. Adelina cuisine à divinement et la propreté est exceptionnelle. Je suis partie après un énorme câlin et nous avions les yeux bien humides. Merci pour tout 💕💕💕💕 Absolument rien !!!

The rooms are cozy and the views are just stunning. A huge thank you to Adelina, who is an incredibly sweet and helpful host. It's a quick 10-minute walk to the main sites—just a heads up that it is quite steep, but well worth it for the location! The entrance looks a bit daunting initially due to the terrain, but it’s perfectly safe and straightforward to access. It looks much more difficult than it actually is! 😅

Παρόλο που το έκλεισα τελευταία στιγμή, ήταν σχετικά καθαρό και οι άνθρωποι πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν σε ότι χρειαζόταν. Δεν ήταν το δωμάτιο όπως το έδειχναν οι φωτογραφίες. Ήταν αρκετά ψηλά στο βουνό με δυσκολία στην πρόσβαση με τα πόδια. Από τη 2η μέρα μύριζε ο υπόνομος στο μπάνιο (αν και δεν ξέρω κατά πόσο ήταν πρόβλημα του καταλύματος)...

Muy agradecida y muy generosa, nos ofrecía comida sin parar Las vistas, increíbles, tiene una panorámica del pueblo con las montañas junto al castillo espectacular! En la casa se puede aparcar muy cómodamente. Para moverse por la zona eran todo subidas y bajadas muy pronunciadas. Caminar por ahí era un poco costoso.

• Thomas (9/5): - Sehr hilfsbereite Betreibern und ein genialer Blick auf die Burg und Altstadt. Anreise (wie wohl überall in Gjirokastra) äußerst spannend. Wenn man einmal den richtigen Weg kennt geht es aber. Die Gassen sind sehr eng und steil. Beim Haus kann gut geparkt werden.

La habitación muy limpia, el sitio muy bonito y con buenas vistas. Quedamos muy agradecidos con la hospitalidad que nos ofrecieron. Una pena que solo pudimos quedarnos una noche allí. Nos trataron como de la familia.

Tous les produits viennent du jardin de la charmante propriétaire, les œufs de ses poules, le fromage de ses brebis. Guest House a 15min a pieds du vilage médiéval.

Fue como estar en casa. La habitación estaba limpia y es uno de los mejores sitios en los que he dormido en Albania respecto a comodidad. Además las vistas son buenísimas!

Wer eine authentische Unterkunft mit einem wundervollen Ausblick und einer herzlichen Gastgeberfamilie (Kaffee, Tee, Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten als Geschenk) sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Burg, der Bazaar und alle weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt sind innerhalb 20 min zu Fuß erreichbar.

• Marloes (10/5): Meest gastvrije host ooit! - Adelina is de liefste en beste gastvrouw die we ooit hebben ontmoet. Zo hartelijk en ze doet er alles aan om je het naar je zin te maken. Ik was ziek en ze maakte eten, bracht drinken en een boel liefde. We voelden ons ontzettend welkom en niets voelde teveel. Beste host van Albanië! Verwacht geen luxe, maar de kamer is ruim en schoon, de douche is goed. De guesthouse ligt op 10 minuutjes lopen naar het centrum. Parkeren kan op het terrein van de guesthouse. We kunnen niets bedenken, we zouden hier zeker terugkomen.

• Maxence (10/5): Warm welcome and stunning views - My friend and I stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The family welcomed us with open arms, and a special thanks goes to the lady who went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable. The room was completely independent from the house, with easy parking, a kitchen, and a breathtaking view of the castle and the valley. The castle and the old town are just a 10-minute walk away, along the charming streets of Gjirokastër. In short, a wonderful stay that I can only highly recommend! Nothing to say

• Marek (10/5): You will feel like at home, amazing value - Adelina will treat you like you are part of the family. Room was spacious and clean. Views from the accomodation are amazing and they welcomed us with watermelon, figs and pears from their garden. Next morning they gave us small breakfast even though we did not order it, we got homemade cookies, petulla and honey from their production. I hope we can return here and enioy this perfect place again.

• Guest (10/5): Wonderful night - Adelina was such a gracious host! She made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean, and sitting on the veranda at night in the summer breeze was lovely. Adelina brought us fruit and some lovely homemade food and was ready to respond to all our needs. The home is close to the city center where you can visit a historic castle and all the cute touristy shops. Our night here was probably our favorite out of 3 weeks in Albania and we would definitely come again!
• XAVIER (9/5): - Une vue magnifique sur le château et les montagnes. Une terrasse qui permet de prendre le petit déjeuner(très copieux et délicieux)face aux montagnes. Merci pour l'accueil chaleureux.
• Sarah (9/5): - L’hostilité a été incroyable ! Avec mon compagnon nous avons eu un acceuil chaleureux par toute la famille. La chambe était au calme et au frais. Le logement est bien situé, nous étions à 10 min à pied du château et de la vieille ville. Le logement est dans les hauteurs de la ville, prévoyez une bonne voiture pour monter, mais ca en vaut la peine. La vue depuis les hauteurs est superbe.

• Dias (10/5): - Paní byla velmi pohostinná, nabízela kávu, čaj, meloun. Pěkný výhled na hrad a město. Soukromé parkování sice s delším autem trochu horší přístup skrz uličky ale dá se. Můžu jen doporučit 😀
• GEORGIOS BEKTAS (10/5): - Θα το πρότινα! Σε πολύ καλό σημείο στην πόλη ώστε να παρκάρεται το αυτοκίνητο σας και να εξερευνήσετε το όμορφο Αργυρόκαστρο με τα πόδια! Μεγάλο, άνετο μπαλκόνι που βλέπει και στο απέναντι βουνό αλλά κυρίως είσαι σε άμεση οπτική επαφή με το φημισμένο κάστρο της πόλης. Οι οικοδεσπότες είναι άνθρωποι της περιοχής που θα κάνουν το καλύτερο δυνατό για να φύγεις με τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις!

• Verjoni (10/5): - In questa guest house troverete la vera accoglienza albanese. La signora Adelina e la nonna sono state meravigliose ad accoglierci, facendoci sentire molto accuditi come se fossimo a casa nostra. Facessero tutti questo lavoro come lo fanno loro! Consigliatissimo e ci tornerò sicuro. Per chi non è albanese, alloggiare in questa struttura è un esperienza. Si coglie la bontà delle persone vere albanesi e l'accoglienza che contraddistingue questo popolo. Tutto ottimo. La città di Gjirokaster poi è un gioiellino ma questa è un'altra storia.
• Evert (10/5): - Alles was geweldig. De mevrouw was zo geweldig lief en zorgzaam. We zaten in het aparte huisje wat een geweldig mooi verblijf is met een super mooi uitzicht. Het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid. Parkeerplaats is ook goed. Met 10 minuten lopen zit je midden in het centrum. Wel even de vrouw naar de kortste weg vragen want google wijst je verkeerd. Helemaal niets
• manon (10/5): Exceptionnel - Exceptionnelle. Nous avons vécu la meilleure expérience de notre séjour en Albanie. Si vous voulez de l’authenticité, du partage, du confort c’est ici qu’il faut séjourner. Le logement est très propre, très spacieux, très confortable. Il est à 15minutes à pied du château et de la rue commerçante de Gjirokastër. La vue du balcon est juste exceptionnelle, d’un côté les montagnes, de l’autre le château. Il y a des chèvres, des poules, des canards etc nous avons eu la chance d’arriver le jour où un chevreau est né. Adalina est la personne la plus gentille, attentionnée et généreuse que nous ayons rencontré lors de notre voyage, un véritable moment de partage. Je vous conseille de prendre le petit déjeuner il est à 7€ , très généreux et tout est entièrement local, bio : les tomates viennent de son jardin, œufs, miel, thé, lait de chèvre, pastèque , tout vient de chez elle!!

• Simon (10/5): - It is a very nice room with a clean and nice bathroom worth every peny. The host was just amazing and very welcoming. I would recomend staying here to eveyone. The apartment has airconditioning and very good free WiFi. Please note that the road to the apartment is a bit steep and there is a small alley to the place.
• Finn (10/5): - Een heel vriendelijke gastvrouw, Bij aankomst kregen we meteen een warm ontvangst met thee, watermeloen en een lokaal gerechtje: gevulde peper. Allemaal uit eigen tuin. Tof bergpadje van en naar het kasteel van gjirokaster achter de deur. Er is om het uur een bus die je van de hoofdbaan beneden tot bovenin het dorpje brengt.
• Esther (9/5): Fantastisch! - Wat een superlieve mensen! Je zit echt boven op de berg bij de geitjes en de groentetuin. Rustiek, rustig en superschoon! Mooie kamer. De rit erheen is er 1 van kleine smalle straatjes en bochten. Wel te doen. Ontbijtje heerlijk met worst en oliebollen. Huisgemaakte jam en verse melk. Een beleving! Zeker doen. Gjirokaster is super druk en toeristisch. Als je goed ter been bent loop je in 10 minuutjes naar hartje centrum. Berg af en weer op! Niks eigenlijk. Smalle weg naar boven is niet te doen in het donker, houd hier rekening mee.
• Elisabeth (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf! - Prachtige locatie en op 10m wandelafstand van het kasteel. Bij aankomst kregen we een huisgemaakt pruimen drankje en we mochten ook eens proeven van hun zelfgemaakte honing. De eigenaren zijn supervriendelijk en staan steeds voor je klaar om je te helpen. Echt een aanrader!
