• Véronique (10/5): - La gentillesse de l'hôte, l'emplacement, la propreté, le petit déjeuner. Ce n'est absolument pas la faute de l'hôte, mais notre gps a eu du mal à trouver, on a tourné en rond un moment, heureusement il est venu nous chercher très gentiment

• Antonio (8/5): Bastante acogedor y con una ubicación increíble - Esta Guesthouse nos gustó bastante y muy acogedora. La ubicación que tiene es increíble y pudimos desayunar en la terraza con vistas al castillo de Gjirokaster. El personal nos atendió estupendamente, muy amables y nos prepararon un gran desayuno. Evidentemente, tener una ubicación tan buena en una ciudad como Gjirokaster complica llegar con el coche. El acceso es algo complicado pero pudimos llegar y aparcar perfectamente. La habitación era un poco pequeña también, no obstante tenía todo lo necesario y estaba muy limpia.

• isabelle (9/5): Au coeur de la vieille ville et d’une famille accueillante - Mikel est extrêmement sympathique et à l’écoute de tous nos besoins. Accueil dans une maison de famille offrant un bon niveau de confort. Très bien située pour les visites culturelles. Je recommande !!! Ce n’est pas lié à l’établissement mais à la ville de GJIROCASTER, il faut anticiper le parking de son véhicule avant de monter dans la vieille ville, car malgré toute l’attention de Mikel, il peut ne pas y avoir de place.
• Jorrin (8/5): Prachtige locatie met een excellente service - Centraal gelegen accommodatie met restaurantjes en bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Kamer was netjes en zag er nieuw uit. Bij het ontbijt vroegen we om een cappuccino en dat werd speciaal voor ons gehaald door de vader van Mikel, de gastheer. Ook reageert hij supersnel per app. Het is een locatie die vrij lastig te bereiken was, zeker gezien de werkzaamheden. Maar na een belletje met de host kwam hij ons oppikken en konden we achter hem aanrijden.

The room was clean and the accommodation was charming with character. The breakfast was amazing and the host gave us really good recommendations of where to go for the evening. • Floriane (10/5): - Mikel est adorable et bienveillant. Il nous a envoyé toutes les bonnes adresses et des recommandations pour des visites. Le petit déjeuner est hyper complet, préparé avec soin par sa famille. La localisation est impeccable même s'il ne faut pas avoir peur de grimper en voiture. Par contre à pied on est à 6 min de tout. La salle de bain de la chambre triple est un peu petite.

• Guest (10/5): Favourite stay of our trip - awesome hosts :) - Property is in a prime location close to the old town centre, cosy with all the facilities you need. Hosts are the nicest people we have met on our travels, who went above and beyond to get our bag when we forgot it, right on time to make our bus! They also helped us a lot during our stay with recommendations and booking our bus. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!! Delicious breakfast also!

The room was clean, spacious, and felt like a beautiful home. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe & welcomed, which I am very appreciative for. Only a very short walk to the bazaar and castle, as well as many restaurants! Faleminderit familjes sime pritëse! I hope to visit again one day. There is nothing! It was perfect. I would highly recommend taking a taxi from the bottom of Gjirokaster up to Old Town :)

The location is perfect – peaceful, with stunning views, and just a short walk from the castle. 🏰The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. • Jadetron (7/5): Peaceful stay with beautiful views. - We really enjoyed the peaceful location of this property — it’s quiet, has parking on-site, and offers a lovely view over the town and fortress from the balcony. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast served to the room was a really nice touch. The only thing that could be improved was communication at check-in — no one was there when we arrived, and we weren’t given any details about Wi-Fi, breakfast, or payment upfront. It all worked out in the end, but a bit more guidance would have made things smoother. Also, the road up to the property is quite steep and narrow — not unusual for the area, but it might feel a bit intimidating if you're not used to these kinds of roads. All in all, a very comfortable and peaceful stay in a beautiful setting.

Comfortable, very clean and in a very quiet location, with parking space, only 5 minutes on foot from bazaar and from the castle. Our host is very polite and helpful. The breakfast was a beautiful surprise, everything fresh and well-cooked. I highly recommend it!!

• Wiebke (9/5): Nettes, einfaches Guesthouse mit tollen Hosts! - Mikel und seine Mutter sind tolle, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral und hat eine gute Ausstattung inkl. Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war sehr nett! Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber das ist überall in Gjirokastra so. Mikel hat uns zum Glück beim Parken geholfen.
• Piet (9/5): - Nette accommodatie met fijn terras. Lekker dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden van Gjirokastër. Moeder en zoon doen alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Zeer ruim ontbijt. Je begint met een overvolle maag aan een nieuwe dag. De straten in het oude Gjirokastër zijn smal en zeer stijl. Het is een hele toer om in een keer goed te rijden. Lopen kan zeker als het warm is nogal lastig zijn. Het is constant stijgen en dalen.

Es handelt sich um eine enge Sackgasse und man ist sich nicht sicher, ob man richtig ist. Da kurz darauf der Besitzer heraus kam und uns eingewiesen hat, hat dann aber alles gut gepasst. - das Bad ist sehr klein und quasi eine Dusche und WC in Einem

La posizione ottimale perché a due passi dal centro e poi chi ama la natura e la tranquillità direi che è il posto perfetto. Poi abbiamo scoperto che la signora di casa Rakela è maestra di pianoforte e ci ha suonato appositamente per noi, la ringraziamo ancora!

• Jorge (8/5): Solid choice - The hosts didn't speak English but always smiling, trying and very nice. She is also a piano teacher and in the middle of nowhere she would start playing in the balcony, it was just magical! Breakfast could be better and more but was 100% homemade and was so good, I went crazy with the pankakes and the fig jam made by her. The room was clean and did perfectly the job. Also very close from the Old bazzar. Good value for money. It's not easy to find the guesthouse but that isn't a problem of the hosts in my opinion, nevertheless the town is problematic to go around with a car and Google maps doesn't have enough resolution and precision. Also the parking of the guest house is debateble, we had a space (hard to get there as I said) but I don't know who they would do if more guests asked for parking.
• Mikele Bicolli (10/5): Amazing experience and convenient location in old town. - Amazing experience, conveniently located near the castle and bazaar area so that the major sites are in a walking distance. Very clean and new apartment, and above all, family owned, the real guest experience, owners took care of transportation, delicious breakfast, even some Bavarian melody played in piano stupendous. Definitely recommended and will for sure visit again.

• Maciej (10/5): Najlepszy nocleg u najlepszego hosta - Wszystko było wprost znakomite. Lokalizacja, wyposażenie, widok z okna lub balkonu, czystość, śniadanie były bardzo dobre. Jednak na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje właściciel, który jest tak sympatyczny, życzliwy i pomocny, że chyba nie da się znaleźć lepszego na całym świecie. Dzięki niemu pobyt w jego ośrodku jest wyjątkowy!!!
• Bruce (10/5): Excellent Guesthouse that is centrally located. - The location is excellent. Short walk to the Bazaar, the Castle, ATMs, and restaurants. The room had a large bathroom and a washing machine! Mikel was the best host. He was always there to answer questions and arrange taxis. Breakfast on our patio was a great way to start the day. Make sure to try the local tea. It is very quiet. Gjirokaster is located on a steep long hill. The Guesthouse and all the places of interest are at the top of the hill. If you are getting off the bus, a 5€ taxi ride is a good investment.

• Marinela (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing experience! - We had an excellent time! Such a quiet atmosphere, perfect to relax. The room was so clean, with an amazing view of the castle! A nourishing breakfast served at our balcony. The host is always there to help you with everything. Would definitely recommend!

• Aleksander (10/5): Polecam wszystkim - Miły i pomocny właściciel, pokój wyremontowany w wysokim standardzie. Śniadanie smaczne, dostaliśmy możliwość zjedzenia na tarasie co było bardzo fajne. Dobra lokalizacja do wszystkich atrakcji.
• Mireille (9/5): Als guest house zeker een aanrader. Goede ligging, goede ontvangst. - Wij vonden de ligging goed vanuit het venster hadden we zicht op de burcht en we konden ook op het platte dak waar stoelen staan. Het ontbijt was goed. Je kan parkeren bij het guest house en te voet direct in het centrum. De jonge Mevrouw was vriendelijk en behulpzaam maar wel nog onervaren naar klanten.

• Lavinia (8/5): - Sehr nette Gastgeber. Schöner Balkon mit Aussicht. Gute Lage. Leckeres Frühstück. Kleines Zimmer und Bad. Einfahrt/Parken etwas tricky, aber machbar.

• T.K. (9/5): CLEAN ROOM - Very Clean room, close to the old bazzar, delicius hand made breakfast in the balkony and very kind and helpfull people!!! The yung lady played piano in the morning! It was so impressive!!! The owner hepld me with my laggage, as I parked 100 meters away. No shampoo and body soap in the bathroom. Parking on the narrow road infront of the property (only one car) or around 100 meters away.
