- Elien (9/5): Lovely homestay - Feels more like a homestay. The owners were very friendly, good equiped kitchen, warm showers! Breakfast could have been a bit more.
- Laura (9/5): - Nice cosy family house atmosphere. Basic but nice. Space to hang up laundry. Gave useful recommendations for cheap visit of perito moreno Can be busy in kitchen if more than 2 of you are cooking simultaneously
- Chloé (8/5): - La gentillesse de la personne qui nous a accueilli et fait visiter les lieux

- Albert W (9/5): Very good hostel living with great hosts. - The owners and staff were very patient and helpful even though I only spoke English. Was excellent value! I recommend taking their shuttle to Perito Moreno Glacier park.
- Maria (9/5): SON LO MÁS - No encantó la atención, la calidez y la escucha. Te sientes en casa totalmente! Todo precioso y perfecto, ubicación también genial. Son lo más!

- Demaria (7/5): -

- Arthur (10/5): -
- Alex (7/5): Fine but... - Generally fine with a good kitchen Only one plug socket worked in the dorm
My bed was made each morning despite me having things organised on it, and one time the staff left wet socks under the blanket
Not really a B&B when breakfast is only bread and tea, which is very disappointing in an area known for hiking
- Katsuya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manuel (4/5): Disappointing - Its like to stay with a family. But not so hostel vibes The room was outside in an external room. The toilet is too small and on the next day the was not electricity so we couldn’t shower because there wasn’t water and not even a heat.
- Kthx (10/5): Worth every penny and more. - It’s a family run hostel. The rooms are spacious and comfy beds. The host Coty is very helpful and cheerful. Basic breakfast with coffee, bread, juice, jams etc. the rooms are very clean and bathroom is spacious and very well maintained. They organise tours to Perito Moreno Glaciers and offer airport drop off as well. They rent bikes per hour or by day. No locks on doors or cupboards.
- Diana (7/5): Cheap and nice - It’s is a nice hostel, fairly cheep. Very small town so it’s easy to get everywhere. Basic breakfast - bread, butter, jam, coffee, tea, milk.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Am so glad I have stayed for 2 nights here. Staff so friendly, allowed me to cook before the day of my stay and leave here my backpack. You can use some stuff in the kitchen, get a coffee or tea. This everything for the cheapest price in town including breakfast. Can only recommend this place!
- Katie (6/5): Pleasant - Had to ask for a towel and a room key. Bread and jam for breakfast.
- Marius (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Silvina72 (8/5): Very good -
- Zdenek (9/5): Superb - Perfectly located, just a 20-minute walk from the bus station and 5 minutes from a well-stocked supermarket. This family-run hostel offers a homely atmosphere. They offer affordable tours to Glacier Perito Moreno. The shared rooms are spacious, and a free breakfast is served each morning. The Wi-Fi connection was strong. While the owners don't speak fluent English, their basic English is sufficient to communicate about the hostel and tour options. The rooms and our bathroom were a bit small, . They could, however, add more electrical outlets in the room."
- Itsik (10/5): Exceptional - Cheap price, two persons per room with private bathroom, nice kitchen and breakfast include, super recommended
- Mauro (9/5): Superb -
- Mitchell (9/5): Good stay and good value! - Nice stay. Friendly and helpful hosts. Nice atmosphere thanks to other guests.
The mattress was not good. The comforter was nice though.
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Wing (8/5): Very good - The staff were friendly and helpful. I was allowed to leave my bag until I returned from my hike to pick it up. I received good information about the possible trekking routes. It was a bit crowded.
- Corry (10/5): Best place to stay in calafate - The owners are soooo nice and friendly
WiFi is great
Great value for money Nada
- Asya (8/5): Cheap Option for El Calafate - Good value and transfer service to see Perito Moreno! Not such a good set up as a hostel...good if you don't want a social scene. Not good if you don't like cigarette smoke
- Asya (8/5): Good Budget Option for El Calafate - Price and transfer service, early breakfast option. I liked the Calafate jam, wish they always had it Very basic breakfast, white bread only, no integral bread
- Tanapol (10/5): A perfect stay in El Calafate! - - Owners were very friendly and helpful
- The room was spacious and clean.
- Clean facilities (kitchen and bathroom)
- There're restaurants and a grocery store nearby
- The hostel is not far from the city centre. Just 5 min walk which was great
- Affordable laundry service
- You can book the taxi service to the bus station (5 min ride) which cost around 5usd
- Emma (7/5): Good -
- Zhijiao (10/5): Exceptional - location is convenient, easy to supermarket and downtown.
it is super reasonable for budget.
host are friendly and help me a lot.
if i would come back calafate i would stay here again.
highly recommend for solo stay.
wifi is fast.
- Anaëlle (9/5): Superb -
- Aurelia (8/5): Friendly and welcoming.Good enough value for the price paid - Very friendly helpful staff. No English but very patient with my terrible Spanish. Relaxed and laid back vibe. On the whole excellent value for the price, safe and convenient for the bus station. Breakfast was a lovely offer but food hygiene wasn’t great. There were a couple of flies floating in the orange juice, and the staff had a cold and was coughing over the bread. Offputting.
Also I was a little cold at night, the bed covers are quite thin. I wore my coat to sleep.
- Juby (9/5): Superb - The host and the family lives in the same place , very spacious kitchen. Host is a really nice lady. They do not speak any English, but very nice folks. Breakfast is unlimited coffee , juice , lots of bread and simple jam or de luche. Pretty much all hostels are far away from the bus station - 20 mins walk through mostly gravel road most likely. So if you are someone with suitcase , please book a taxi . Impossible to walk to the hostel.
But hostel is close to the town and supermarkets. They run a shared taxi service to perito merino for 35000 pesos. Seeing how I was struggling with a large suitcase , the host was kind enough to drop me to the bus station . Small kindness always goes a long way.
There is a laguna 20 mins walk away and pretty at sunset. Overall el Calafate is a very small town , but it’s charming.
- Morgan (9/5): Superb - What a wonderful little hostel in El Calafate. What you get here is beyond other hostels and way fewer people in a room. The people who work here are amazing and so helpful, highly recommend.
- Dominic (5/5): Passable -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seung (6/5): Pleasant - nice backyard, breakfast hard to find staff,
hard to communicate. They can't speak English.
- Trần (8/5): All good until the last minutes. - A simple and clean hostel. It’s a family run hostel. The mother and the son were nice and welcoming except the grumpy and greedy father. It should have been a great stay until the last minutes. I stayed in their hostel and book their tour to the glacier. The tour included picking up and dropping off the customers’ place and in my case it was their own hostel. When I came back on their car, i asked if they could let me collect my luggage and took me to the bus station. The father charged me 5 usd more for 1,5km distance. I decided to walk out of my upset and it took me only 15min. What a pity! Things should have been better if the father didn’t see his guests just as the walking ATM.
- Micky (7/5): Good -
- Kinga (8/5): Very good - I highly recommend this hostel. We appreciate above all:
-kind and helpful staff,
-nice atmosphere of small, cosy place,
-very good value for money,
- simple and clean kitchen to make own food and basic but enough breakfast - lack of the key to the room
- stayed in the room next to the kitchen so sometimes was a little bit too loudly
- Srinivasan (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff; small, comfortable rooms - more privacy than in a big dorm.
- Ciprian (10/5): Exceptional - The host was kind to prepare breakfast for us even if it was earlier than normal Space in the room is small
- Ciprian (9/5): Superb - Breakfast is good. Door is locked when you are leaving. Nice stuff Space is small
- Sebastião (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (10/5): A wonderful stay with everything you need - We stayed for three nights on two occasions and I would thoroughly recommend! The family that live there are so friendly and helpful, plus they have a cute dog.
They did our huge bag of washing for us for a very reasonable price. Plus they let us store our bags for free while we went to El Chaltén for three nights. They couldn't do enough for us!
We stayed in a dorm room with two beds, so we had the room to ourselves. The room was warm and cozy, and all cleaned to a high standard. Towels weren't included, so worth bringing your own. I'm sure if we had asked they would have provided something as they were very helpful.
We cooked in every evening as there were great kitchen facilities, so that's a good way of saving money.
Location was good, a 20/25 minute walk from the bus station and about 10 minutes from restaurants and shops.
They also did transfers to the glacier (90 mins - 2 hours one way, with a few hours there and then the return journey) for 35,000 which is cheaper and more convenient than the bus! Plus the driver was also lovely. If we are back in El Calafate we will stay here without a doubt.
- Igor (9/5): Superb -
- Pornchanok (10/5): Great stay! -
- Roman (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely family, great rooms and great kitchen! None
- Georgios (10/5): The place to be in Calafate - Great neighbourhood. Everything is within walking distance. The staff will do everything possible to help you through with everything. I felt very comfortable with everyone and everything. Nice kitchen, nice bedroom, nice warm shower in the winter. Very cosy place to stay, very good breakfast and very good vibes overall. This place is highly recommended.
- Ignacio (9/5): Superb - Staff is amazing and very much available. Have cheaper transfer option for visiting the glacier and bile for rent very cheap. Cozy environment overall, very clean. Simple breakfast but still nice
- Pett (7/5): Good -
- Ian (9/5): Excellent! - Great place owned by a local family. Friendly people, super clean, great prices and good WIFI.
A few blocks from the grocery store and the main street. The breakfast is included, but consists of bread and jam, buttrer, dulce de leche. Coffee was ok.
- Dimphy (10/5): Exceptional - Nice, warm house with comfortable rooms and big and well equipped kitchen. Dorms were only 3 beds, and every room had its own bathroom. They also arranged a good shuttle service to the glacier for a good price. Coty was a super kind and good host! She also provides a breakfast, with delicious home made jam. And don't forget to look at her cool art pieces hanging around the house! :D
- Herbison (8/5): Very good -
- Ileana (6/5): Pleasant - Staff is super friendly and welcoming, location is good (near the centre but in a quiet area, although the neighborhood looked at bit rough), breakfast was simple but so happy it was provided! Also appreciated the laundry service for a small fee. There were no keys for our room (they had lost it) or for our bathroom, meaning other people were clearly using it. Hand soap wasn't provided
- Sheng (8/5): Very good - The bed was very comfortable.
The wifi was fast. No shampoo or shower gel provided if you didn’t ask.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- William (8/5): Very good - Clean, good breakfast, comfortable bed, space heater for when it got too cold. Staff was helpful. There was an error with the keys (they just had one set) when I arrived around 10pm so I had to wait until about 11:30pm to get into my room.
- Dariel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Roger (9/5): a very happy stay with a great ,friendly, helpful family - the family who run this hostel are all just great, helpful people pots & pans in kitchen were adequate but not totally the best.
- Shalev (7/5): Good - nice staff and location showers at room
- Ana (8/5): Very good - Staff was super nice
- Sarah (9/5): cute and cosy - cosy, homey feel , nice breakfast
small hostel, no lockers (if that means anything to you) but safe area/ people no lockers
