• Philippe (10/5): Un séjour enchanteur pour profiter du Wolfgangsee - Une vraie hôtellerie familiale avec un grand sens de l’accueil et du service. Notre hôte a été aux petits soins. Le cadre près du torrent est enchanteur et l’hôtel un peu en dehors de la foule du village. Il est toutefois possible de tout faire à pied. Nous avons été sous le charme
• Hannah (10/5): - Tolles Frühstück (auch für Vegetarier!!) mit Blick auf die Berge und St Wolfgang. Das Zimmer war sehr bequem und hatte einen Balkon mit Blick auf einen kleinen Bach. Die Lage ist top - zu Fuß braucht man etwa 10 Minuten zum See und ins Dorf. Auch der See Zugang war herrlich - es stehen Schirme, Liegen, und Paddle Boards bereit. Sehr zu empfehlen!!! -

• Bernhard (9/5): - Appartment wirklich Top v.a. mit Kind aufgrund der Größe. Direkt neben dem Bach mit super Ausblick. Möglichkeit direkt Wanderungen auf den Schafberg od. nach St. Gilgen zu starten und nur 15min zu Fuß ins Zentrum von St. Wolfgang. Außerdem super Service und zubuchbares Frühstück. Matratzen teilweise schon sehr durchgelegen.

• Crookston (10/5): We had a wonderful stay here! Highly recommend. - Helmut was a wonderful host! He treated us like family. The breakfast he made us was beyond good. He gave us great advice when our plans had to change because of the weather. We would highly recommend this little piece of heaven!
• Omer (9/5): Peaceful and calm, was lovely! - An amazing, cozy place, surrounded by nature. It is in the middle of the forest with a stream right by it. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm, they breakfast was great, the room was very spacious and clean, there was plenty of hot water, and the kitchen was equipped with all we needed. The stream is right below the rooms but the windows are sealed quite good as we barely heard it inside. It was a short walk to the Chafberg train station and the village, although quite a steep walk. The location was pretty isolated, but that’s the price you pay if you want to be surrounded by nature (: There is either a nice short trail or a steep road to the center, not so much fun when it’s rainy but either than that not a problem at all

• gerard (10/5): Don't miss this place.... - This accommodation and location are not to be missed. A romantic, gem of a spot. The house is an old logging mill and has so much charm. The room we stayed in had a lovely balcony with a river that ran beside it and the night sky could be enjoyed from there. The sound of the water from the river lulled you to sleep, and the view was magical. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. There were also a table and chairs outside to enjoy the space and a clothes line.The place was spotlessly clean. The tiled bathroom was in keeping with the traditional house. There was a large sofa and table also available to sit and converse. The owner also provided a bar in the house for residents to use at a much cheaper rate than the bars in town. Also, coffee and tea is available here too The town itself had charm and tradition bursting from its seams. We went for a swim in the town lake as suggested by the owner, and it was beautiful. There is a train that runs up the side of the mountain that you can take and the views are marvelous. The house itself is a small walk into town along a charming gravel path with benches and views upon views positioned along the way, The breakfast was fresh yogart and granola fresh fruit, eggs, ham, speck, cheese, and bread all very tasty and plentiful. Perhaps better pillows, but these pillows are common in Austria. We did not notice a sign out front perhaps we missed this but there is ample parking, which was great........If you were not physically able to walk well, perhaps it could be an issue staying here, as you are a short distance from town and the surface to walk to the house is a little uneven . WE WOULD 100 percent recommend this place. DON'T be too put off

The stroll was on a path through the countryside with cattle, horses, and sheep in the background. We had a wonderful stay!

• Saul (9/5): Relaxing stay at Woöfgangsee - Secluded location. Private beach Helmut is an excellent host. A bit of a hike from the water and restaurants. We ended up driving down and paying for parking.

• Eve (10/5): Eine Salzkammergut- Pension wie aus dem Bilderbuch - Vor der Tür vielfältige Wanderwege; das Rauschen des Baches und des Wasserfalls; der Blick auf die schöne Landschaft, See und das Züglein der Schafbergbahn; das ganz neuwertige Zimmer mit Balkon und vor allem das Frühstück auf der Terrasse neben dem Wasserfall.Aufmerksamer , freundlicher Gastgeber ; in 10 Min iist man zu Fuß bei der Schafbergbahn und beim kleinen, aber eigenen Hupfmühle- Strand am See; der Spaziergang ins Zentrum dauert Max 15 min und ist wunderschön .

Superb Breakfast and lovely room with balcony and great view down the valley towards the lake. He told us of the good restaurants and the best way to walk back up the hill from St Wolfgang to hotel. We are in our mid 70s and found this route a lot easier than the steep walk up the road. In the evening after our meal, Helmut did offer a taxi service in his golf buggy (for a small fee) back from St Wolfgang up to the Hotel. This was greatly appreciated. Nothing

Schönes Umfed, sehr schöne und ruhige Lage. Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung. In der obersten Etage mit Blick auf den Wolfgangsee. In Summe war es sehr erholsam. Tolles Frühstück auf der schönen Terrasse. Daumen hoch! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

• Tom (10/5): Beautiful & peaceful location, 10 mins walk from town - It's a stunning location nestled in a small valley, 10 mins walk (uphill) from town. My room faced onto a river which was very peaceful! The owners are friendly and the breakfast is great.

Pěšky zkratkou přes most kolem penzionu a podél kolejí do 7-10 minut ke spodní stanici vláčku. Velká výhoda je vlastní pláž , malá , ale dostačující. Na půjčení padleboardy. Vstup do vody po schůdkách. Pokoj krásný , veliký. V kuchyni vybavení dostačující. Jediná malá nevýhoda , že nefungovala restaurace v penzionu.

• Shirley (9/5): Super moment de détente . - Pension familiale nichée entre deux vallons près d’une rivière. La Pension est difficile d’accès , mais l’hôte monte vous chercher et prend vos bagages dans sa voiturette. L’hôte est très accueillant. L’emplacement est un peu loin du centre mais par contre vous êtes au calme avec juste le bruit de la rivière qui vous berce et le chant des oiseaux le matin La pension est simple , on y dort bien . • Michael (10/5): Traumhafte Erholung in super schöner Umgebung - Die Hupfmühle am Wolfgangsee ist ein echter Geheimtipp für einen erholsamen Urlaub in traumhafter Umgebung. Die Pension liegt idyllisch und ruhig etwas oberhalb von St. Wolfgang und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick sowohl auf den Ort als auch direkt auf den Wolfgangsee. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das umfangreiche und sehr gute Frühstücksbuffet, das keine Wünsche offenlässt und den perfekten Start in den Tag garantiert. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich von Anfang an willkommen fühlt. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die traumhafte Terrasse, von der aus man einen herrlichen Panoramablick genießen kann – ideal zum Entspannen nach einem aktiven Tag. Die ruhige Lage der Hupfmühle sorgt für maximale Erholung, gleichzeitig ist das Zentrum von St. Wolfgang in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. St. Wolfgang selbst bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung und eine große Auswahl an Restaurants, darunter das berühmte Weiße Rössl am See. Insgesamt ist die Hupfmühle der perfekte Ort für einen entspannten und erlebnisreichen Aufenthalt am Wolfgangsee – wir kommen gerne wieder! nix, alles super!

The host was very kind and helpful, the room was perfect, and a stream flowed right beside our bed, just behind the soundproof windows. There’s no need to say anything about the area—it’s absolutely amazing. This is something you simply have to see for yourself. Both the accommodation and the surroundings. Thank you so much for everything—we’ll be back soon! :) Well, there was nothing bad about it. Maybe just the fact that we had to come home… :)

• Anna (10/5): I really enjoyed our stay, the room was so clean and spacious with a waterfall outside the window. Breakfast was very ta - The location was amazing, very close to the center and next to a waterfall. The road to the pension was quite steep, so during winter chains are necessary.

Hier fühlt sich jeder wohl und das haben wir anhand der Mitgäste auch gemerkt. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns auf einen Besuch im Sommer, damit wir das Wasser aus dem Bach auch am Körper genießen können.
