• Lara Sophie (10/5): - Sehr freundliche und hilfreiche Gastgeber, sowohl auf Englisch als auch Deutsch. Die Zimmer und das ganze Haus sind gemütlich&warm eingerichtet, mit gemütlichem Bett. Schöne Aussicht und ruhiger Ort. Frisches und leckeres Frühstück, jederzeit Zugang zu Tee&Kaffee. Dusche brauchte lange um warm zu werden, was aber kein größeres Problem war! Beachten, dass die Touristensteuer nur bar bezahlt werden kann. In Obertraun gibt es sonst nicht viel zu tun, aber die Unterkunft ist wenige Fußminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt mit recht guten Verbindungen.

They have a little common room with some refreshments, and you can also buy beer and wine. Everything was clean, no complaints! Definitely recommend!

Πολύ ευγενικός και χαμογελαστός και πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαζόμασταν. Προτείνουμε το HAUS HEPI ανεπιφύλακτα και χωρίς κανένα δισταγμό! Η καλύτερη επιλογή! Όλα ήταν υπέροχα!

Our hosts were so so nice, they speak perfectly English, they arranged an amazing breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely and filled us each morning before our adventures. Larry was a gracious host: he was friendly, knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats with him. We felt very much ‘at home’ at Haus Hepi! We have no negatives at all to report.

The included breakfast was perfect: delicious and healthy! Haus Hepi is comfortable, charming, and clean. I would definitely visit again. I have zero notes. I really enjoyed my entire stay.

Larry gave us great recommendations about hiking in the region, which we followed. Very convenient to go to Hallstatt by boat, yet not crowded i the peaceful at the place of stay. The room was perfect, the bed was comfortable, and we had our own balcony. The hosts also provide two comfortable sitting rooms for guests to use and some snacks and beverages for a minimal purchase. They have thought of everything! The breakfast was simple yet perfect. We would highly recommend staying here in Obertraun. There was nothing we didn't like. Absolutely perfect!

You can feel the heart and soul they’ve poured into this place, and the genuine love they share with their guests. I drove to reach the hotel, but no sign it is. I asked their neighbors to know they are further inside from the road. Not a big problem anyway.
