Guest Reviews
- Keane (9/5): - Great facility & location
- Jess (10/5): -
- Kendelle (10/5): - Great location Nothing
- Helena (10/5): Loved it! Look forward to staying again soon ! - Great sunset views , clean and cosy !
- DALE (10/5): -
- Hannah McAulay (10/5): Wedding travels in Milawa - Everything was so easy and effortless! After travelling down from Queensland was amaxong to get an early check in and just relax before exploring. Colin was nothing but accomindating and went the extra mile by posted back our toiletries that we accidently left behind free of charge to us. Can not hype church lane up enough defiently worth the price.
- Brooke (9/5): Romantic relaxing stay - This is a surprisingly lovely stay. The view from room 2 is so lovely, we just relaxed, watched the sunset, took turns in the outdoor bath and stared at the beautiful red gum all evening. Little house was just perfect , classy bathroom and furnishing. Early check in which helped so we could walk to Brown Brothers for lunch. Loved everything except pillows were a bit hard for us.
- Jarrod (10/5): Loved the stay at Church lane, highly recommend this accommodation for anyone travelling to Milawa. - Very well equipped, comfortable and great location. Nothing
- Tania (9/5): Little gem in the heart of the King Valley - We loved the quaint homey atmosphere, ensconced between the church and the fields. The place was clean, modern, well appointed and comfy. A little gem in the heart of the King Valley.
- Paul (9/5): -
- Justin (10/5): - Church lane accommodation is absolutely stunning. We stayed in cabin 2. This is a beautiful place for a child free getaway close to home. It is so close to Milawa town ship, but very secluded and quiet. The bed, couch, and outdoor furniture are all super comfortable. The place was immaculately clean and had everything needed for our one night stay. There wasn't anything available if you wanted to stay in for dinner, but you would be silly not to venture out and experience the beautiful surrounds. There are so many amazing restaurants, cafes, and wineries.
The owner was exceptional, they let us know as soon as we could check in early. They also let us have a last-minute late checkout.
We will definitely be returning. Nothing we didn't like.
- Max (9/5): -
- Kylie (3/5): Extremely ordinary - ov - Overpriced especially given basic breakfast (bread annd packet spreads) and only instant coffee. The ad said it included a tea/coffee maker. All there was was a kettle and instant coffee plus ordinary teas.
- Lucy (10/5): It was a beautiful respite. - The self serve breakfast was generous and the provided snacks were appreciated. I wish it had a later checkout; I didn’t want to leave.
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Melissa (9/5): A lovely stay! - Such a cozy and lovely spot! The space was great for two people, the cooling situation was excellent, the owners were lovely and communicative, it was easy to check in no contact and was well stocked with toilet paper and coffee and tea etc! We came down for a two night stay to enjoy wine and cheese and read and craft! We didn’t quite have enough comfy space with the size of the couch to achieve that for both of us sometimes if one wanted to spread out (but more of a lesson learned for us than a grievance in any way - but a good side note for anyone with similar ideas!). We had a good chuckle with the goblets over wine glasses and in a wine region (again not something that pained us or wasn’t likeable, it’s added a little giggle to the story of the trip (many Harry Potter references were had!) but maybe for people who are big wine buffs that may be something you find impactful.
- Yvette (10/5): Had a great time was very modern and clean and a short walk to the local hotel and Brown Brothers winery - Very modern and comfortable
- Greg (10/5): - Breakfast was a lovely thoughtful and tasty inclusion
- Geneva (8/5): Very good, would stay again - Peaceful & quiet.
Location close to brown brothers winery
20min drive to Wangaratta
Complimentary bread from bakery
Very clean No wardrobe but open space to hang clothes
- Alessandra (10/5): Perfect overnighter - This was such a perfect stay and they were so accomodating with an early check in and late check out.
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Perfect stay - Clean and well equipped Nothing
- Krause (10/5): We loved the accommodation and would stay there again without hesitation. - First impressions count and upon walking in it was spotlessly clean and very well presented. The beds were comfortable, fantastic bathroom with quality consumables and floor heating, clear instructions and labelling everywhere (like on switches!), a good light breakfast (toast and conserves) with treats in the fridge and an easy walk to Milawa town center and Brown Brothers. The TV and WiFi were good and the spa was a nice touch.
I'd also mention the exceptional service provided by Colin helping with a booking issue and his courteous responsiveness to all enquiries. The only thing I can think of improving there was to have some hooks in the bathroom as there was nowhere to place clothes other than on the toilet seat.
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Wetherbee (10/5): Exceeded our expectations, and made our trip so fun and exactly what we wanted! - The tiny house was perfect! Neat, tidy, modern, and had everything we needed. Absolutely nothing! It was perfect.
- James (9/5): -
- Kirsty (9/5): - Beautifully furnished, very clean, very modern and lovely little touches to the place. Bed was comfy and it was very peaceful.
- Holly (10/5): Delightful, modern and comfortable tiny home with beautiful finishings and very easy check in and out. - Stunning views, exceptionally clean, very comfortable, walking distance into Milawa with quality and modern finishings that didn’t go unnoticed.
- Jeff (10/5): Dont tell too many people because you won't be able to get a booking its that good... - We stayed in unit 2, it was as per the photo's. Very comfortable, well equipped for a short stay.
Not sure about the outdoor bath with the tempreture at 1 degree!
- Sheila (9/5): -
- Lannan (9/5): Beautful - Well appointed. Perhaps an 11am check out
- Chad (10/5): -
- Nicholas (10/5): A luxurious cosy stay in the heart of the wine region. - We loved the room, it was so comfortable and well appointed. The hosts have thought of everything. It was a great location, close to some nice restaurants and cafes, and wineries. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Nothing at all, everything was perfect.
- Trucking pom (10/5): Quality and quite - We have been here before in February for valentines day we love it so much that we came back for our 26th wedding anniversary the place is lovely it's quite and on leaving this morning we meet the owner Colin and we told him that we will be coming back Nothing

Gorgeous and it had everything you needed, and more. Loved all of it.
- Dianne (10/5): - Very clean ,cosy everything we needed and more .little chocolate treats Colin was a great host we got to check in early which was nice very quiet and private highly recommended. There was nothing we didn't like .
- Suzanne (10/5): We were there to attend a wedding and the position of the accommodation was perfect. It was quiet. The weather was cold - Beautiful comfortable bed with lovely bedding which is important for me.
Lovely bathroom and good tasteful design.
Generous supply of bread, butter, toppings and quality hot chocolate etc No problem but would have enjoyed a coffee machine but survived without 🤗

- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooklyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (10/5): Must stay in Milawa - This was such an amazing stay - probably our favourite accomodation during our holiday! It was a really well thought out tiny home with all the little luxuries. We enjoyed soaking in the bath after a big day on the bikes. There were a few little treats that we enjoyed. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was an absolute treat!! Nothing! If anything - perhaps adding a bar to secure bikes?
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful , peaceful , quaint little cottage on a beautiful country lane. Special touches from a lovely breakfast and nice hot bath on the deck. We will be back to explore more of the King Valley and definitely stay here.
- Kylie (9/5): Loved the place, communication was great. - Location was amazing. Great attention to detail. Aesop products were pictured in the bathrooms on the images online, implying top tier products. Sadly on arrival these were a much lower standard of product which I didn’t use. Didn’t make any difference to how much I enjoyed the stay, it just felt a little misleadiing.
- Kathleen (10/5): Lovely accommodation. Close to Brown Brothers. Great for a couple's getaway. - Breakfast was as described with lovely local bread. Nothing we were very happy with our stay.
- Lisa (9/5): Beuatiful location and amenties - Wonderful location...stunning sunset over the paddock highlighting a beautiful tree.
The 'tiny house' was so cosy with all of the amenties you require

- Monika (10/5): Exceptional - The accomodation is beautiful. The setting is lovely with fans and an aircon and an outdoor hot tub. It's tastefully decorated and everything works. It's very private with a parking space right in front of the property. The wifi works well. Great communication from the owner. Highly recommended 10/10. Will visit again :)
- Danielle (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly (10/5): A peaceful beautiful place to stay in Milawa - Church Lane - no 2 is such a beautiful space. Amazing setting with just gorgeous views, especially if you’re watching a storm roll in while enjoying the private outdoor bath.
We only stayed 1 night but really really wished we had booked for longer.
Great attention detail by the friendly host Colin : beautiful local bread for breakfast, quality linen including country road towels, well appointed kitchenette. Not staying longer
- Barrie (8/5): Very good -
- Trucking (10/5): Exquisite - From the heated floors, outside bathing experience to the complete isolation where you could not even hear other guests at the property. Yet only a gentle 15-minute walk let us experience the most exquisite dining experience without needing to drive to the AVA restaurant. The accommodation, along with the restaurant, should both be regarded as Michelin hat/ star quality. Will definitely be rebooking in the future. There is nothing that we didn't like.
- Angelika (8/5): Very good -
- Lyn (9/5): A relaxing and comfortable stay - Quaint tiny house with thoughtful utilities, extra linen, towels, comfortable and clean.
Definitely the extra little surprise gourmet touches were a welcomed treat, generous portions of tea/coffee/spreads
Outdoor setting terrific to watch sunrise Not much to dislike …. except a sneaky white tail spider bite !

Great location; good dinner at the pub, nice coffee at the bakery. Excellent wine tasting and lunch in the oft overlooked King Valley. Will be back!

Lovely ambiance
Great host
- Connie (9/5): Superb -
- Karl (6/5): The place looked new and held promise, but little things ( but not inconsequential, caused problems. Owner knew about el - Its location in Milawa. There were problems with solar power supply. Had 3 blackouts, although they did not last long. Would have liked to see a small Microwave oven instead of a toasted sandwich maker. The crockery bowls were too big. We went out and bought 2 bowls so that we could have cereal for breakfast. The aircon above the bed caused the fan to blow in our faces when we were lying in bed. The power point which held the toaster was bung.
- Kate (9/5): Very cozy & clean! Great location, short walk to a fabulous restaurant, Ava & Browns the next day. - We went out for breakfast, as wanted latte's and a cooked breakfast. Loved everything, Only negative was we would have loved to have watched the sunset, but we were in the wrong unit unfortunately. Was all good.
- Vince (10/5): Hidden Gem, comforting and relaxing. - Spectacular, we absolutely loved our stay.
Facilities are great, heated floor in the bathroom great touch. Nil.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Ordinary bread. Pots of locally made jams would delight. Include an ice block tray so we could make ice blocks for gin and tonics!
Maybe fruit juice bottles for breakfast.
- Eve (9/5): Terrific thankyou ! - Breakfast supplies were basic but adequate Suggestion - for additional light to illuminate the third step down from Unit 3 deck - not able to see it in the dark & I had a fall …..
- Lydia (9/5): Perfect, cosy spot for a relaxing getaway. - We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful tiny house. The perfect stopover on a journey from Sydney to Melbourne. We arrived on a cool Winters day, the heating was on, the underfloor heating was lovely and the bedding was luxe! Such a beautiful, well thought out space. The chocolates and bread were a lovely added touch. We will be back!
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast supplied was terrific and the location was perfect, very easy to find and had everything we needed. The underfloor heat in the ensuite on a chilly night was divine. We would stay here again.
