- Benjamin (10/5): Incredible - Seclusion, private entrance, well set-up, great host, awesome coffee
- Henk (8/5): A lovely quiet stay with a very friendly hostess! - Lovely room although a bit small, petite kitchenette with microwave and the smallest fridge you can imagine. Doing the dishes in a bathroom sink was a challenge which we didn’t have to do but didn’t know
Ether was new to us and although an excellent reception, the cable was not quite long enough to watch anything in bed. TV not available which we probably overlooked .
- Helen (10/5): My stay was very pleasant & comfortable - Kerrie was most welcoming & helpful which made my stay very pleasant. My accommodation was comfortable & breakfast just perfect. Many thanks Kerrie I have no complaints about my accommodation.

- Ralf (10/5): - Man fühlt sich morgens unter der Dusche wie im Regenwald....Aussicht,Vogelgesang...dazu der Spirit von den Adelaide Hills...ich liebe diesen Spot bei Kerrie.Er ist Magisch....
Alles sehr sauber ,freundlich, italienischer Kaffee, weiches Traumbett.Das Interior mega.
Kurzum I love it
- Leanne (9/5): I really enjoyed my stay and would book this accommodation again. - I liked the friendly, warm welcome and calm cosy room. The separate entrance via a lush garden was appreciated; as were the amenities in the kitchenette. I was asked via email if I would require breakfast, and I replied yes it would be appreciated. But breakfast consisted of a small, although delicious, cappuccino. So that was a little disappointing.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- H (9/5): Great little spot near Hahndorf - Gorgeous little secluded spot attached to main residence. Very comfortable bed and well laid out room. Kerrie was very hospitable and made us a great coffee. Watch out for the 5 steps, we were warned but my husband still almost missed the last one.
- Lynda (10/5): - Super clean ,comfy bed ,fabulous powerful shower.
And a lovely host .
- Malcolm (9/5): Delightfully cosseted in a garden oasis. - Extremely neat ,clean and everything new and well presented Ummmmm, can’t think. Bed did seem to sag slightly towards the middle, rolling while asleep towards my partner and overheating. Watch that step going out of the courtyard where I almost fell. I was told beforehand but forgot.
- Bennett (10/5): Very comfortable stay with everything you could need. Would highly recommend. - Fantastic well-appointed comfortable room. Host Kerrie was super friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable bed - hard to get out of in the morning!
- Ashkei9 (9/5): - Lovely room, comfortable bed,
and very friendly host!
- Elaine (10/5): Peaceful stay in the Adelaide Hills /Handorf. Ideal situation, close to many tourist attractions. - The host and owner Kerrie was the most incredible amazingly happy person, met us on arrival and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation an annex on the side of her home, was very private with, own small courtyard surrounded by beautiful gardens. Large bedroom/sitting room, decorated so tastefully, comfy bed very adequate kitchenette and large bathroom to die for. Beautifully quiet and restful in the Adelaide Hills but close to Handorf. If possible, would love to stay again. Thank you, Kerrie. Liked everything home away from home.
This is a suggestion not a criticism. Maybe a small TV or radio would have enhanced our stay.
- Judith (9/5): Lovely stay in beautiful garden surroundings. We enjoyed Kerrie’s hospitality and morning coffee. -
- Ken (8/5): Pleasant and great host - Hot, strong shower
Internet was great
Barista Coffee made by Kerrie every morning The bed - sagging and small
- Karen (7/5): - Advertised as a studio unit but actually a room located within a house but has side entrance.
Says studio features air conditioning (which is ducted so have no control over) , bbq (didnt see 1) washing machine (was not 1), fully equipped kitchen which falsely sounds like a roomy studio unit.
Need a light at gate to help put code in.
I know there was a high fence but we still felt exposed using toilet and shower without a window covering.
When returned after dinner it smelt like they had cooked sausages and that was all we could smell all night.
I no more to life than a TV but still wierd not having 1.
- ParasMk (10/5): -
- Margaret (9/5): Confortable - Clean, self contained Unexpectedly located within a private house which was not clear from the listing
- Luke (9/5): A very comfortable and clean location, perfect for my short stay. - Very comfortable and easy to access. A friendly and accommodating host.
Easy breakfast option. A sensor light by the side gate would make it easier to see the key pad for access at night time.

- Lee (10/5): It was truly fantastic the owner was so kind and helpful especially when we wanted to eat out her recommendations were e - It was quiet, clean and close to ammenities and surroundings suburbs it was better than staying in a hotel it was like a second honeymoon xx💖💖
- Geoffrey (8/5): Lovely - This was a lovely bedroom and bathroom with some kitchen facilities separated from a house and having a separate entry.
Our host helped us get in as we were confused about the entry but once we we shown it was fine. There was good internet via an ethernet cable that worked with my ipad. The accomodation is at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a nice part of town.
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- David (2/5): Very poor - Felt exposed, very poor privacy. No TV, owner suggested it was a point of difference we disagree.
- Wendy (10/5): Best place to go for a restful night - Quiet location, room was cosy and comfortable Nothing
- Baker (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely quiet space and nicely heated. Enjoyed my stay.
- Jim (9/5): Very comfortable and location great for Hahndorf. - The furniture was high quality and very comfortable. Kerrie was very welcoming and very friendly. The shower was very good. A TV would have been a nice touch. There was an Ethernet connection but no wifi. We did not have anything suitable for that type of connectivity.
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning accommodation. We travedll from WA and has been the best accommodation that we've stayed.
The most comfortable bed. Even better than ours at home. Would definitely stay again on our nect trip.
- Brooke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Wonderful suite in Mt Barker 10 out if 10. - The location was perfect for our requirements. The unit was well positioned in a great garden. Kerry was most accommadating even supplying a brewed coffee on request. A most enjoyable stay. There can be no negative feedback as everything was perfect.
- Darryl (9/5): Excellent - Good location and friendly host No television to watch the end of the football, only a minor issue
- Jonathan (8/5): Kerry was very welcoming, and we enjoyed our short stay. - A perfect location for exploring the Adelaide Hills and the city of Adelaide. A tv in the room would be nice if staying for longer. wifi in the room rather than a LAN connection would also be good.
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and neat also friendly It was perfect for me
- Debbie (9/5): Superb - Location was great, Host was lovely, bed was super comfy
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Welcoming hosts and lovely spot
- Kim (9/5): A lovely place to rest and explore the picturesque Adelaide Hills - Very nicely appointed bedroom and bathroom with everything needed for a short stay. Bed and furnishings very comfortable and plenty of attention to detail. Lovely private garden outlook and access from bathroom. So clean and tidy-plenty of space for this single traveller. Nothing
- Ann (10/5): We would go back again ,lovely area ,easy to get around. - Everything.
- Beverly (8/5): Very good -
- Annette (10/5): I felt rejuvenated after my stay - Very comfortable accommodation in a tranquil lush spot. Kerrie welcomes with a warm smile and goes to great lengths to make your stay enjoyable. Kerrie makes great coffee and welcomes one to sit and chat in her beautiful garden. Walking trails are accessible via her rear gate.
- Hayley (10/5): Exceptional - For me personally, it was in a great location, not far from family close to shops cafes and kerrie was so lovely!
I 10/10 would recommend staying Everything was perfect, I was there for a short stay, the beds were comfortable, the room was private and lovely.
- Frederick (8/5): Unusual, comfortable apartment, out of the way but easy access to the town; a real get-away. - It was quirky and homely, we like that. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating, she clearly enjoys having people stay in the property. The bedroom was spacious, the bed very comfortable. Great selection of teas, plenty of maps and guides to the area. Had a country feel to the location, especially winding our way through the back garden to get to the path that leads into Mt Barker. Great restaurant next to the Wallis cinemas, highly recommended! There was no tv. Instead of wifi there was Ethernet, which was a little less convenient especially if you’re watching a movie online. Fortunately my iPad could accept the connecting cable; my iPhone did not. As an aside, there was plunger coffee but no instant (yes, I know, what’s not to like!).
- Leah (7/5): Our stay was quite pleasant, with the exception of the possums at night. - It was very clean & tastefully decorated, with a lovely little outdoor garden space. Unfortunately there was no tv & there was not sufficient privacy in the bathroom.
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Christina (9/5): Superb -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (9/5): Kerrie was great, made us feel very welcome. It was like home away from home - Quiet, easy location, comfortable, welcoming No tv (although it wasn’t an overall issue)
- Angela (9/5): Fabulous property and fabulous host . - Kerrie is a fabulous host who gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the property . Beds and pillows were super comfy with gorgeous linen. Great facilities with a little private garden so you can sit outside. Whole place was immaculate. Coffee facilities in the room but Kerrie also made us a barrister coffee which was wonderful . We loved it here !
Also … property is very close to Laratinga wetlands which is an an amazing area to go walking and see the wildlife . Loved it there too . Nothing
- Lou (9/5): Peaceful location and relaxing time spent! - Kerrie the host was very welcoming and made our stay very relaxing. She was very thoughtful, spoke of places of interest to visit and provided breakfast with wonderful coffee to enjoy.😊
- Lawrie (10/5): A great place to stay in Mt Barker - We had a great stay at A suite Spot in the Hills. Kerrie made us very welcome and the facilities were excellent.
- James (10/5): Tranquil comfort in the Hills - Kerrie has created a wonderful space for short stays. Exceptionally well-appointed, immaculately clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable. Exceptional attention to detail. Located in a quiet area, it makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Kerrie makes an awesome coffee in the morning, and is a gracious and welcoming host. Thanks again, Kerrie!
- David (10/5): A perfect place for a quiet get away with a delightful hostess. - Clean, relaxing, peaceful, beautiful gardens
- Kamango (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful ambience, quiet and comfortable
- Sue (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable and friendly experience. Thank you Kerrie - Beautiful outlook and close proximity. Kerrie was very welcoming, her property was immaculate, cosy and the bed was super comfy. We had everything we needed and a lovely freshly made coffee in the morning. Superb👍 Nothing
- Angele (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (9/5): Superb -
- Eileen (9/5): Certainly is a sweet spot in the hills. We certainly recommend staying. - Tranquil. Very comfortable. Beautiful courtyard and lovely garden. Very relaxing to wake to the sounds of birds outside. Nothing to dislike. Kerrie was the perfect host.
- Paul (9/5): Lovely clean room with excellent ensuite and attached garden - nice host who makes great coffee - It was in an older lovely established part of the town where it was very peaceful and quiet with nice gardens including this property as the garden to the side was a bonus- birds chirping…. excellent!! Maybe it could have a desk and chair and maybe a TV but honestly I did not miss a TV as it was so peaceful
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent freash coffee made in the morning...very good
- Judith (8/5): Great experience, would definitely go back - The location was great, close to shopping and eating places. Kerrie was very friendly, checking if we had everything we need and makes a very nice latte The only thing we weren't expecting was no TV, not that we needed it for our 2 night stay
- Jvverde (10/5): Exceptional - Is not a house with a garden, but a garden with a beautiful house.
We were delighted with the house and the comfort of the bed.
The house is set within a magnificent garden, and the entire surrounding area is an impressive garden.
Our only regret is not having stayed more days. Nothing to report
- Dorrington (9/5): Excellent host. Quiet & very comfortable. Pleasant walk into centre of town from here. -
- Marcelle (10/5): We had a fantastic time, Kerrie is a super welcoming genuine person and is happy to go the extra mile to ensure you have - The accommodation is set in a beautiful calm garden setting.
- Whitehead (9/5): Superb - Very quaint set up. Private access to come and go.
- Malcolm (10/5): We enjoyed the warm hospitality. - Beautiful garden outlook, lovely bay window in the bedroom and the bathroom is very modern and clean. Absolutely nothing !
- Nadia (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): My host Kerrie was excellent, she maintained a lovely balance of privacy and accommodating. - It was very homey and relaxing, beautiful and surrounded by nature. Nothing.
- Kerry (9/5): A very pleasant spot. Host family were amazingly friendly and helpful. Facilities spotless. - Lovely quiet spot with convenient parking. Was difficult using laptop A small table and chair would have suited me better than two lounge chairs and coffee table. A tv would have given my husband something to do whilst I worked.
- Andrea (10/5): Very comfortable. - Kerrie was lovely, good company
Offered good tourist advice & ideas for us. TV in the room to keep up with the footy scores
- Denis (7/5): Based on the above, our experience failed to live up to expectations based on listed facilities. - No breakfast provided, location fine. Great bed and shower. No TV, kitchenette, dining table and chairs, any available shelving filled with books/magazines, etc - some hanging space (no wardrobe), no room to unpack, perhaps better suited for overnight rather than extended stay. Access to unit via sliding door in glass wall in bathroom (no blind) - inconvenient. Huge plant on only available bedside occupied any available space.
- Shane (10/5): Good but needs to be clearer with what the room actually is - Great place, great host No privacy, not described when booking
- Cormick (10/5): Amazing - Didn't have breakfast. The room was beautiful. Very peaceful location Nothing
- Susan (8/5): I love this place. It’s very quite and yet central to Mt Barker Hostess is very friendly but doesn’t - Close to where we needed to be. Quite comfortable and close to green spaces Perhaps needed a blind in the bathroom
- Nicola (8/5): A lovely space and just what I wanted! - It’s beautiful - a little sanctuary to relax in. Had everything I needed, and nice finishing touches - the different teas; the lovely books and games. The host was great too… super kind and gave great recommendations. Thanks so much!
- Samson (9/5): Peaceful getaway place - The host Kerrie was wonderful and we really enjoyed the stay.
- Michael (10/5): A really sweet suite spot in the Hills - Kerrie has appointed her "Suite Spot" extremely well. Lovely quiet location with a big comfy bed. We loved the gardens and the access to all the local retail outlets. A small TV would be nice.
