• Raajal (1/5): Unpleasant and Unsafe Experience at Lucky House - N/A Unpleasant and Unsafe Experience at Lucky House! I had a very disappointing experience at Lucky House. I booked a stay for three nights but ended up leaving after just one night because I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. The owner/manager was extremely unwelcoming, which added to my unease. The setup of the place was bizarre and impractical, with kitchen appliances set up inside the bathroom. This arrangement was not only inconvenient but also unsanitary. To make matters worse, I couldn't get a refund for the nights I was not able to use. Overall, my stay at Lucky House was far from lucky. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and secure accommodation in Melbourne.
• Jason (6/5): Suitable for my requirements - Lucky House is located on a fairly quiet street in Point Cook. The room was reasonably clean and had good natural lighting. The shower, while needing some slight tightening on the head holder, was large and had great pressure. The placement of the refrigerator could be better as it blocks access to the power point for the kettle/toaster/microwave. Cutlery and crockery are not supplied, but this was noted on previous reviews so I took my own. The no alcohol policy should be mentioned upfront and the free parking was standard street parking (but it was free).

• Brenda (9/5): A friendly Chinese man cheerfully took care of my needs and left me in peace for a good nights sleep - No breakfast was expected, but I enjoyed the Chinese tea, and have learned how to make it properly so I continue to drink it. It was very quiet and spacious, and yes - very clean. And the proprietor is a lovely man. For the price, nothing bothered me

• Mark (4/5): Pretty unlucky if you have to stay here, better options in Point Cook and nearby. - The house is lovely, the host is most welcoming and helpful, the bed was lovely, even though three standard pillows only were provided. The Wi-Fi worked fine and the shower was large with a moveable shower head. The fridge is large (I suspect this may be temporary as not in photo on the website), and there was a microwave and jug. There is a walk in robe that is the size of something you normally see on 'Homes of the Rich and Famous'. I did not test the TV, sorry. The wooden stairs to get to the room. No parking on site - has to be on the street. Walking into the toilet with 2 almost empty toilet rolls on top of the cistern wasn't very welcoming. One towel - of any sort. No cutlery or crockery. The furniture was badly dated but functional. The microwave was on top of the tall fridge and the jug was behind the fridge - almost couldn't reach the jug - ridiculous. Some liquid soap next to hand basin. No coffee or tea. Guest next door was noisy late into the night. House rules, when you get there, include no alcohol in room. Bit late to tell me now, champ. Beware - the photos on the site must be referring mainly NOT to Room 2. All in all, rather disappointing, and one of the rare places I will never return.

• Sarah (7/5): Good - Bed was rather lumpy and uncomfortable. There weren't enough pillows and there were no utensils or crockery to cook or have my morning coffee.
• Kia-lee (1/5): One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had - When I arrived and my friends came up with me to help me with my stuff you come straight out and made sure they weren't staying. Which you then decided to pace up and down outside the room listening to our conversation which shouldn't have been able to happen if the rooms were soundproof like your ad had said which I might add is quite disrespectful especially when other guests were loud and sounded very much like more then one person as I could hear people have sex and be yelling and laughing as loud as they wanted. When I returned last night I was unable to enter with the code you had given me due to the front door being locked even though I was provided a code to enter with. To then enter my room and notice someone had been in my room because things had been moved from where I had left them. The room is beyond disgusting 🤮 There is dirt, stains, things that have been spilt and not wiped. Every cupboard stinks and was uncleaned. The towel provided smelt like it had not been washed the whole time it's been in that room. I was unable to use any kitchenette facilities because the fridge was in the way which I'll add is quite disgusting aswell.

• nkftravels (10/5): Nice - This is a gorgeous house, not far from a few shops and a bus stop right outside. It has a small garden, big kitchen and enough fridge room. Room is spacious, clean bathroom, good Wi-Fi, TV and comfty bed. Carpets are really fluffy and soft! Only things I would add, in the bathroom should have a hand soap and hand towel for hygiene reasons. There was hair on inbetween the seat and lid of the toilet. Kettle should be dusted and maybe shouldn't be in the bathroom and table surfaces in the room had hair and dust. The bed frame is very squeaky with every move however softly you try to move or sit. The air conditioning was quite loud, think as part of the cover is open/broken. Also on the last night it came on it really spelt bad through the whole night. Otherwise was a lovely stay and great communication with host via email if needed anything!
