• Emma (9/5): - The location to the main strip was great. We loved the communal area, so peaceful and tidy and beautifully set up. The team went out of their way to add gluten free options for my partner to our breakfast which was greatly appreciated. We also really appreciated the morning tidy up of our room. Would just recommend that the team add a microwave and bigger rubbish bins to the kitchen set up. Other than that, everything was lovely.

• Stephen (9/5): - As well as a lovely private room, there was a great communal area with comprehensive tea/coffee making facilities. Location was ideal for beach and just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Breakfast selection was great: fruit, granola, egg, sourdough bread/toast, yoghurt and fruit juice. Jas was an excellent host and gave great advice on what to do and where to eat.
• Christina (9/5): - Sehr schönes B&B, fußläufig zu Apollo Bay. Jedes Zimmer hat eine eigene Terrasse mit Blick auf den schönen Garten, teilweise mit Papageien und Kakadus. Kleines, liebevoll zurecht gemachtes kontinentales Frühstück mit hochwertigen Produkten. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

• Janette (10/5): A very comfortable stay in Apollo Bay. - The room was very comfortable, huge bed and excellent facilities. Nice little touches such as decent coffee, chocolates and toiletries etc.The air conditioning worked well and the whole property was spotless. We liked the huge, fluffy bathtowels as we are tall people and they are never usually large enough.😄The lounge and breakfast area was very homely and comfortable with lovely plants and beautiful artwork. Jason took time when we arrived to point out places of interest to visit and we appreciated the maps he provided. The continental breakfast is tasty, varied and high quality. Service from the owners was excellent but unobtrusive and they were available should we have needed anything. The property is central but in a quiet location with ample parking and a pleasant veranda to sit out on. We would recommend it and would certainly stay again if we were in the area. We were happy with everything.

• Paul (8/5): Good clean accommodation Great breakfast provided each morning - Good clean and tidy accommodation Close to the beach and within walking distance to the main town centre Coastal walk to Mad Dog Creek opposite Skippers . Car parking available at the house .The only disadvantage to us personally was the non availability of beach chairs As tourists from the U.K. we cannot bring our own chairs with us so sitting/ laying on the beach was always uncomfortable and sandy although there was a shower in the house garden for use prior to entering room A bit expensive but you get what you pay for in Apollo Bay None really apart from the lack of beach chairs to borrow whilst visiting

• KIM (8/5): Enjoyable stay! - Modern decor and very clean. The owner, Jas, met us and provided us with a list of places to visit. There is a communal lounge/dining area where breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, granola, yoghurt, bread, and one boiled egg was left out for us at 8.30 am each morning of our two-night stay. Lovely room with toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. We had the place to ourselves during our stay. Close to the beach and town. The breakfast time could have been more flexible. Also, felt it was overpriced, and there could have been more variety offered at breakfast, such as some cold meat and cheese. The breakfast could get rather monotonous if staying for a long time. Never saw Jas again or met his partner, Gilly, during our stay, which would have been nice. However, perhaps they didn't want to seem intrusive. The weather was very cold during our stay for the time of year (end of January). We sat on the balcony briefly, but had to come inside, as it was far too cold and we were unable to sunbathe on the beach, which was disappointing. Apollo Bay is lovely, and we enjoyed our two nights there.

• Carol (9/5): Absolutely the best in the neighbourhood - Does what it says on the tin — a super cute BnB close to the beach and all the amenities (such as they are — lol) of Apollo Bay. I think we were lucky to score one of these 3 rooms — the other accommodations in the vicinity looked grim.

Little touches that elevated the experience like the botanical body wash apci, Ferrero Rocher and tea selection. Great value for money.

• Sarah (8/5): Very comfortable for a couple of nights but expensive for a shared living space - Lovely hosts, great location, comfortable bed and sparkling clean. The shared living facilities were comfortable and fortunately we liked the other couple staying there very much. But the weather was bad and could have felt very constrained if you didn’t like total strangers. The bathroom is small.

Furniture was beautiful and so was the total decor. Provided continental breakfast was far superior than expected and was delicious. Would absolutely stay here again and our traveling friends were so jealous of our booking! absolutely nothing. Oh actually, the hotel sign along the road is partially hidden by a bush - just needs a little trim. Took us a few tries to initially find you

The decor and aestetic, functionality of the space, quality bedding and linens. I could go on and on...book w/ confidence. Very minute, a waste basket needed in bedrooms and a microwave or toaster oven in common area to heat food.

• Marisa (9/5): Loved this gem 💎 - Spacious, very clean accommodation with lots of extras for us to enjoy. Very inviting lounge area with lovely sun shining in and a view of mountains. Location excellent. Breakfast was very adequate, presented beautifully and yummy. Being so close to other guests meant you heard them talking and they were awake at 6.30 am doing alot of talking that woke us up.

My husband stated "this is the most comfortable bed we've stayed in" (and we have stayed at many venues). Breakfast was beautiful as well. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who asks! The water pressure in the shower - but understand, that is out of anyone control.

• Manfred (9/5): Overall we had a fantastic time in this lovely B&B, the dislikes were minor and we would go back - Lovely looking building in a great location. Great ambience and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. Staff/Owners were friendly and efficient. Like any facility the bed and pillows were good. Breakfast was good but if you were doing a longer stay it would start to become a bit boring. Thats not to say that the quality of what was served was inferior or cheap. It was all nice. The kitchenette had no cooking facilities which l get but maybe at least a microwave would have been nice if you wanted to heat something up. I dont watch TV in my bedroom at home so l would have preferred a TV in the family room.

Skippers is just outside enough to be quiet while still close enough to walk to the shore in minutes. Comfortable beds. Nice porch in front. Excellent breakfast. Alll in all, a great place to stay. It was all good.
