Guest Reviews

- David (10/5): My idea of good accom - Old school/new school They said new owners are coming
- Paul (5/5): - Location. This place was SO dated from the 1980s. Staff were completely non-existent. Never saw or talked to anything from beginning to end. Street parking only was annoying. Breakfast was a total joke: dried cereal and a bottle of juice in the fridge.
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): Can’t wait to come back and stay longer. - The bed was amazing! Very quiet considering location. Lovely hot water. Nothing

- Belinda (8/5): Thanks for a lovely weekend. - The staff are so friendly and helpful! Location is great. Bed smaller than we are used to and not the most comfortable. But certainly bearable.
- Caitlin (10/5): -
- terry (10/5): really good, will stay again - location, old style comfort and design, easy access although remote, cooking facilities and in house continental braekfast nothing

- Eugene (8/5): Great - Everything Noisy cafe
- Kerry (10/5): We truly enjoyed our stay and the Heritage hits the right note for us and we would not want anything - Location across the road from the beach was terrific. Set back from the street is also very good -
Breakfast - everything that opens and shuts - perfect - just our style.
Room - quiet - spacious - comfortable bed - AC worked etc. I could not get onto the wifi... i just used my personal hotspot so didn't bother me.
- Maria (9/5): We will be back - Loved the lay back atmosphere and self service kitchen..Renee also very accommodating gave us an upstairs room on request ❣️ Nothing
- William (8/5): Relaxing - Well located, friendly lady let us book in early as she had cleaned the room. Nothing

- Katherine (7/5): -
- Leanne (10/5): Overnight stay. - Walking distance to everything just over the road from the beautiful beaches.
Close to all the restaurants .. The only thing I would say. Is that the air-conditioning was really loud at night.
- Bernadette (9/5): Lovely old building with great amenities. Great location - Great location within walking distance to beach and shops. Lovely old decor with great facilities
- Alexandra (7/5): Had the potential to be amazing but the very strong chemical smell in the bedroom used ruined my stay unfortunately. - Great location and beautiful old world feel. They used very strong room deodoriser or cleaning products and because it was summer and very hot we had to have the doors closed for air-conditioning so I basically didn’t sleep all night due to stress from chemical smells. I couldn’t wait to get out of the room first thing in the morning to breathe some fresh air.

- Shanthi (8/5): Great spot from which to enjoy South West Rocks - Great location, fantastic kitchen and generous continental breakfast. Very comfortable rooms and loved the verandah. Lovely guests staying there. The carpets need replacing and there was a musty smell in Room 5. There were no staff on hand and nobody responded to my texts re the password for the Wifi or to confirm we had checked out.

- Nicola (8/5): Very comfortable, helpful staff & great location - Friendly staff who are very helpful, great location & lovely charm to the place The outside courtyard could have been a bit cleaner/tidier
- Chris (8/5): Quite good and will come again. - :close to everything. Multiple areas to relax in. Kitchen area had everything needed and no issues with access and availability. Plenty of fresh air in room. No problem with parking. Bed frame old and squeaky. Mattress was comfortable but seemed to be covered in a plastics type surface though it was well covered.
- Melba (7/5): Great location for the beach and town - Great location and friendly staff.
Easy check in. No parking.
You have to be lucky to get a parking space.
The property behind the hotel uses a gate and pathway which brings people who are not guests at the hotel, straight passed the guest room I was in and the gate is noisy, banging away at all hours and it did not feel private as a result. Window had to be kept shut and curtains drawn to avoid people looking in.
And that did happen more than once.

- Estherann (10/5): A great place to stay - What we liked about the property was the location. It was close to everything. Food and drinks was available right? Next Door our house was fantastic. The room was lovely and comfortable and it came with breakfast which you know saved us a bit of money too. We will come back. Nil

- bob (6/5): Good location, room ok but service was poor - location was very good. breakfast was self service without being told where anything was outside tables/chairs poor condition and scruffy

- Ben (10/5): -
- Natasha (10/5): Loved our stay I would recommend - Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable Not a lot of car parking
- Maya (9/5): Loved our stay, right on the beach! - What a fantastic location and a truly historic guesthouse! There were many guests who have been coming for years, which creates a lovely family like atmosphere and we would definitely stay again. Being able to walk out onto the beach was brilliant. It’s an old building, so don’t expect shiny and new. But the atmosphere and the warmth of the people and customer service more than makes up for it.
- elissa (10/5): Fantastic - Everything was great.
- Richard (10/5): Third time we have stayed. Have not been disappointed and would return again! - Location and facilities.

- David (9/5): Great place to stay in South West Rocks! Beautiful building, great balcony, and excellent kitchen. -
- philip (10/5): We love this place. Have stayed many times over the years and will certainly be back. - Wonderful old charm building right across from the beach in the heart of the town. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us in a wonderful room despite our very last minute booking. We had a view of the beach and access to the upstair verandah with comfy chairs and tables. There is a very well stocked kitchen and the breakfasts are provided and self serve with lots of options, all based on an honesty system. I love the trust and generosity. A very minor issue but during the day on Saturday we could hear the exhaust fan from the cafe next door out our bedroom window. Not a major issue as we just closed the window and still has had plenty of fresh air through our double front doors onto the verandah. Cafe closed in the afternoon then all was quiet again.
- Gaylene (10/5): - Cleanliness, location & facilities. Leaving
- Lindsay (8/5): -
- Steve (10/5): -
- Vanessa (10/5): Excellent and homely stay!! - Excellent accommodation in a lovely seaside town!! Very quaint and in a top spot right in town. Very friendly people and great to have a kitchen to access as well as a verandah to sit and watch the world go by!! Highly recommended!! Nil
- John (9/5): -
- Lionel (9/5): Very pleasant guesthouse. - The guesthouse was easy to find and near the shops. Our room was on the ground floor so carry bags to the room was easy. The breakfast the following morning was great. Nothing really.
- Alice (10/5): - Breakfast was great, the room was clean, bathroom immaculate.
- PATRICIA (9/5): Really pleasant. Would definitely book again! - Location is excellent. Having access to the kitchen plus cafe out the front was great. Good sized bed and room at good price.
Contact for check in was well organised and very easy. Thank you. The only negative was that the bed squeaked when you got into it but was okay once you were sleeping.
- Maree (8/5): -
- Nektarios (10/5): - Nicely maintained guesthouse with a style and personality. Very good value for money. There was a crack in the window. This could be a hazard.
- Wendy (8/5): -
- Tatiana (10/5): Will definitely be back - Very easy check-in, beautiful room, good facilities. Dinner on the verandah was lovely, everything is within walking distance, bed was very comfortable Parking was a bit tricky, but it is January (peak holiday season) so this was expected
