In every sense… the gorgeous cellar door and restaurant and cottages set amongst the rolling vineyards, the gorgeous smells of both the bespoke candles and soaps, as well as the delicious food and wine, and the heavenly soft sheets and dreamily comfortable bed. I cannot recommend RDC highly enough! I just wish we could stay for a month!! 😉

- Miriam (10/5): Outstanding - When selecting a place to stay I had seen the incredibly positive reviews that RDC had, but even they didn't prepare me for just how wonderful this place is. Evelyn and Stewart are fantastic hosts and it's clear that their passion is providing their guests with an outstanding experience on their beautiful property. The property itself is gorgeous - we went for a little walk around when we arrived and, as people who live close to the Sydney CBD, we were blown away by how quiet it was. The breakfast included was excellent, as was the wine from the property. We also loved getting to know Evelyn and Stewart a little during our stay. It was such a warm and welcoming experience and this really stood out compared to some of the other more sterile and impersonal places we've stayed in the Hunter. We can't wait to go back!
- Debbie (9/5): A perfect weekend getaway - It’s a small boutique property offering a quiet peaceful stay with fabulous hosts. On top of that a great atmosphere with excellent food. Red Door is situated in a very picturesque spot looking out over the grape vines with the mountains in the background. It was an easy drive on to the numerous wineries and food destinations in the area. There wasn't anything that I did not like.
- Maryluz (10/5): Warm British Charm and a beautiful estate to match - The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. They were warm and inviting. I enjoyed hearing about the story of the 'red door'.

The first day, we did a wine tasting including a cheese platter with them, their wines are so full of flavour (the Frizzante was an absolute winner for me). We stayed in Chardonnay cottage which was perfect, spotlessly clean and had literally everything we could ask for.
They even did the most amazing charcuterie board for us to enjoy on the patio while enjoying the sunset (highly recommend).
Breakfast each morning was exceptional and huge portions, we are coffee snobs and Stewart’s coffee was perfect 👌🏻.
We will definitely be back and with friends too 💕. N/A

- Gilberte (10/5): A Fabulous Family Feeling! - This is a beautiful spot on Hermitage Road between Broke and Pokolbin. Evelyn and Stewart are amazing hosts and joy to chat with. The breakfasts are very generous and tasty and Stewart's barista skills yield a great coffee!
The accommodation is well appointed and cosy with a very homely and genuine feel to the whole place. And on top of that, their single vineyard wines are excellent! Thanks for a great weekend! There is nothing not to like.
- Nicholas (10/5): Great accommodation in the heart of Pokolbin with great views. - Extremely helpful staff very lovely location great service. Highly recommended, with great breakfast options and lovely wines. The cellar door was easily accessible from accomodation as well. Nothing particular. Price was a little bit high but not unusual for Hunter Valley accomodation. Overall nothing major.
- Akhil (9/5): Evelyn and Stu were such wonderful hosts not to mention the lovely Mona and Geronimo. The wine was divine and Evelyn cha - A beautiful gem in the hunter valley. The cottage was very inviting and the fireplace made it lovely and toasty. The night sky put on a real show with the Milky Way in full view. It was a perfect place to get some peace and quiet and have a restful holiday.
