• SHTX (10/5): - The location is nice & allows you to park and then walk everywhere in Jajce Quiet hilltop. Staying in an old locally owned home is a nice immersion into the local culture. Fatima is very helpful with suggestions for your time in Jajce. You don't want to park in this village/ much is pedestrian only & parking is very limited. Do confirm directions. Google ran me around & I had to stop at the grocery to get directions that worked. It was all fine.

• Ayse (10/5): - Das Apartment ist im Obergeschoss eines kleinen Hauses, das unten von der Gastgeberin bewohnt wird. Am Tag vor der Ankunft hat sie uns eine Wegbeschreibung geschickt, mit der die Anfahrt problemlos möglich war. Zur Begrüßung gab es bosnischen Kaffee. Das Auto konnten wir direkt vor dem Haus abstellen. Von der Unterkunft aus war es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang in die Altstadt, sodass wir die Gegend sehr unkompliziert erkunden konnten. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, für zwei Personen aber völlig ausreichend.

• Stuart (10/5): Perfect - The host was very friendly. The location is perfect, being right near the fortress and only 10 minutes walk to the bus, restaurants or waterfall. The property has a balcony with a great view over the city. All of this for a very reasonable price.

• Wei-Chun (10/5): Excellent accommodation - A fantastic location! It's very close to the old town center, just a 15-minute walk to the waterfall viewpoint, and also close to restaurants and supermarkets, making it incredibly convenient. Situated halfway up a mountain, it's very quiet at night, and the rooms are very clean. There's heating in winter, so the room is quite warm. The host is a very welcoming elderly lady who explained everything in detail, saving me a lot of time searching for answers.

The room also includes a small fridge and a kettle. The first time I arrived, it was difficult to find the place, but the host picked me up and brought me to the property. She lives in the same house The stove is outside, so in winter it’s not comfortable to cook. Even though, the host helped me heat up some food in her microwave.
• Andreas (10/5): - This was the highlight of my trip through the Balkans. Fata was incredibly hospitable and despite the language barrier made sure that I felt very comfortable in her home. She was accommodating in taking care of my luggage after I checked out and even ordered a taxi for me after I walked to the Pliva lakes. The house is very charming and location unique just next to the fort. I really enjoyed my interactions with Fata and would highly recommend this place for anybody seeking an authentic experience with a friendly local.

The accommodation had everything we needed and the view from the balcony was really beautiful. The location was just perfect, right in the town centre close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The furniture and decor are a bit shabby.

• Daniel (10/5): Definitely worth a visit - The owner was a very nice lady who helped us with everything we needed and beyond. She gave us tips what we should visit and was incredibly hearty. When we wanted to start cooking she even asked us if she should cook it and asked how we wanted our food in every detail. She even cleaned our plates and cutlery without us even asking. The owner really cares about her guests and always has a smile in her face. We can totally recommend this facility.

• Bianca (9/5): Appartement mit sehr netter Vermieterin - Die Vermieterin war eine sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Frau. Sie schickte uns sogar im Vorfeld eine Wegbeschreibung / ein Video per WhatsApp, so dass man den Weg gar nicht verfehlen konnte. Sie begrüßte uns sehr herzlich als wir eintrafen, erklärte alles und bot gleich Kaffee an. Im Zimmer stand leckeres Obst zur Verfügung. Das Kleine Appartement war liebevoll eingerichtet und hatte eine Terrasse mit sehr schönen Ausblick. Die Lage des Appartements war perfekt, das wir alles sehenswerte per Fuß erreichen konnten. Die Festung war sogar nur 2 min entfernt. Dieses Appartement können wir gerne weiter empfehlen. Danke für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Accoglienza fantastica da parte di Fata: ci ha accolti con un grande sorriso, è stata sempre disponibile a darci informazioni e ci ha preparato anche il caffè tradizionale! L’interno molto accogliente e i letti comodi, c’era tutto ciò di cui avessimo bisogno. Punto cottura funzionante ma un po’ scomodo

L'esperienza di dormire in una casa direttamente nel centro e sotto al castello non ha prezzo. C'è pure la possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto sotto la casa (monitorata anche da telecamere per maggiore sicurezza). - Letti un po' piccoli e spazi stretti per 3 persone. Ma reputo che sia impensabile di ottenere di più per il basso prezzo e dormendo in una casa nel centro del paese.

Mi dispiace lasciare una recensione negativa ma davvero la casa mancava totalmente di pulizia, come se tra un ospite e l altro non venisse mai pulita. Anche saponette ammuffite o coi capelli attorcigliati, oltre a polvere e sporco ovunque.

I recommend it if you're planning to stay in Jajce. Plus the owner sent me a message with information on how to get to the property Maybe the fact is not so easy to get, either you go by walk and you need to climb or you get by car/taxi and drive cobblestone street

Fata is an incredible host, and we loved the home that is so central in Jajce with a lovely balcony and view. Fata made sure we were comfortable the whole time and treated us to homemade baklava (the BEST we’ve had) and Bosnian coffee !! This is a true gem in Jajce and i would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Fata and family - we look forward to coming again!
• Wai (9/5): Cute little cottage with amazing host, overlooking panoramic view of the old town - We stayed directly below the old fort (just need to walk very short distance heading upwards for the old fort), and go downwards for the waterfall). This is actually the host's own home whereby guests stay upstairs. All the usual amenities were available - there was view of the old town and a cute garden (that was where we have our lunch). Host made Bosnian coffee for us in the morning. Host was extremely accommodating, communicative, and informative. She offered good suggestion about how we should go about for Jajce attraction within our limited time frame in the town. Need to carry luggages upstairs (not a big issue) so those with big bags do take note of this. Better arrive earlier during day time as the road could be a little confusing if driving and looking for the place at night.

The apartment is super close to all the city's attractions, is very quiet and clean, and has a great view. Great value for money, I totally recommend it to anyone that visits Jajce!
• Rachna (6/5): Pleasant stay - The host was super accommodating and friendly. The wifi wasn't working and she was able to fix it right away and even made me Turkish coffee in the morning. Also had a very deep sleep. Unfortunately, getting to the accommodation by foot is not easy. I wish I knew that before as I had to really lug my suitcase up very steep hills and stairs. Also the accommodation has carpet everywhere which didn't help with my allergies.

• Nur (10/5): I enjoy my stay here. - Everything very good, the owner so friendly and kind. She offer me a dinner since the first day I came already late and most of the restaurant already close because of snow. She also provided tea, coffee, fruits and some biscuits in my room. The room warm and also have hot water for shower. the place got strong wifi A bit uphill, so for old parson have a people with climb or who bring heavy bag need to think about energy to climb up about 10-15. If you fine with walk a bit to up then you will be fine.🙂

• Trevor (10/5): Beautiful house and amazing Bosnian hospitality - This was my second stay at the beautiful home of Fata. She is such an incredible host and does so much to make you feel at home and help you enjoy the amazing sights and history of Jajce. I was warmly welcomed with hot burek and home made rakia, and received daily morning Bosnian coffee and pastry, and lunches of delicious local dishes. The house is perfectly located up the hill in the peaceful old town, below the castle walls, minutes walk to the centre and waterfalls, with amazing views of the town, valley and mountains from the lovely balcony. The apartment is clean, warm and cosy and authentically decorated with charm and love. The house has a lovely garden and cute kitten. Communication is very easy as Fata has a great voice translation app and she is keen to help you with anything. Her son gave me a ride back after a great walk to the lake, highly recommended to see. Plan to spend a few days here, Fata and Jajce are real gems of Bosnia. I will always return here. Thanks for a beautiful few days. All fabulous 11/10

• Grace (10/5): Great little home in Jajce - I had such a lovely stay in Jajce. I was made to feel at home as soon as I arrived with traditional Bosnian coffee and sweets provided whilst I admired the view of Jajce from the balcony. Fata is an excellent host providing local recommendations and even driving me to the bus and organising my onward journey for me! Will come back one day to visit!
• Choo (10/5): Exceptional - Fata was so kind and she ensured that my stay was comfortable and smooth. The place was very cosy and well furnished - I had a very good 2 nights staying there. She also helped to book a cab for me to fetch me to Jajce bus station! Furthermore, the location is very good! It is less than 10 minutes from most of the key attractions in Jajce. Now, here is where I share that I made an oopsie...I accidentally took the key with me after I left. While I kept insisting to foot the bill for the lock change required, she was so kind and said that it was an honest mistake and that I owed her nothing. I was so worried because she had a guest who was staying after I had departed. Later, she updated me that everything went well in the end so that I didn't continue to worry. I think this speaks of her kindness and while we met only briefly, she is someone I admire deeply. While noted that in some reviews it mentions that she may not speak much english, do not let worries about communication deter you as communication was smooth because she uses voice-to-text translation. If you are going to Jajce, I 100% recommend that you stay here.

• Iqubal (10/5): Excellent location and host - The host, Fatima was friendly and extremely hospitable. On arrival she gave me meat pastry, chicken, biscuits and Bosnian tea as a good will gesture. She was quick to answer messages which was helpful. Fatima discussed about the war and how they survived. On the day I was leaving she made me Bosnian Coffee at 6:30 in the morning and gave me a big container of grapes from her garden. Also the mosque was 150 metres away which was handy.

I felt 'at home' immediately and loved everything about my stay. Relax and beauty in the property and surronding, next to the small old wooden Moske. Do not be afraid about the street, as an old Castle Road is made of old beautiful stone. The property has parking lot for the guests and place to turn you car. 5 minutes walking you are in the city center and the waterfall. Without doubt the BEST location in the city of Jajce. You have cot in case you come with a baby... And the BEST IS the owner, she make you feel at home pampering ang giving you advices and all kind of informations.

• Andrew (9/5): Lovely home stay in Old Town of Jajce - Incredible location within fifteen minutes walking of all major landmarks in Jajce. The lady does not speak English but she is an absolute gem of a person and will bend over backwards to make you comfortable. She also allowed me to leave my car in her drive even after checkout, which was a massive help. The apartment also includes a fridge and plenty of space, so well worth the price. The bathroom was slightly worn and the heating turned off after a certain time, so the room became a little cold.

The owner is very nice and always trying toal communicate using translation on the phone. A very good lunch was offered. Kitchen only has kettle. A microwave oven will help for long traveller.

The rooms are simple, but it is a great option if you want to explore Jajce while sticking to a budget. The hospitality and kindness alone is making this apartment worth staying at.
