• Marcus (10/5): Incredible house, great room, and outstanding staff :) - The house was beautiful and in a really good location. About a 10 minute walk from the center. I visited for the 6 hours of Spa WEC race and had no problems getting to the track
• Morrigan (10/5): - A beautiful mansion up in the hills, our suite was part old charm, part modern comfort. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a huge clawfoot tub, huge windows everywhere, + we had a terrace with a table where we could drink our morning tea. It's close to the city centre, but in a quiet area so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Despite being a century old building, the utilities were excellent, heating was adjustable and heated up the room fast, plumbing was modern with 0 issues, overall we had a great time staying here and will be back for sure. The owner is super kind! + bonus: there's a friendly cat in the gardens! :)

Ruime nette tuin met wat zitjes waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Douchen in het bad zonder de douche op te kunnen hangen was wat behelpen. Gebouw heeft een wat bedompte geur. Hier en daar wat stof in de kamer te vinden.

• Lisa (10/5): Fantastic stay in an old manor house with modern facilities - This is a beautiful manor house with wonderfully spacious rooms with high ceilings and an attached lounge area. The one suite even has a beautiful outdoor verandah with a view over the garden and a small kitchenette area.The beds were very comfortable with good linen. The bathrooms were newly renovated with quality fittings and the while place was spotlessly clean. It was like staying in a castle. Our host was lovely..friendly and helpful. Our stay was incredible! Spa zelf is niet heel spannend, maar de omgeving is prachtig om te fietsen/wielrennen en wandelen.

• Axel (10/5): Gorgeous getaway weekend in peaceful setting with a warm and wonderful hostess. - The villa was very close to the shopping and restaurant areas, but removed enough to be serene and relaxing. Our room was huge and absolutely lovely, with a big bathtub, balcony, dining area and even a small kitchenette. Parking was also easy and free. We loved it all!
• Piet (10/5): We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every minute ! - An extremely charming little castle with private parking and a very nice host. The location is superb, just outside of Spa in a quiet street. A very nice hike of 14km along several water sources like Barisart starts only a few hundred meters from the property. The very luxurious breakfast is optional and is served at the door of the appartement. A nice little kitchen can be used to make a small meal. If you want to know how it is to live in a castle this is the place to be. Nothing really. The property is of course relatively old (although very well maintained) so there can be a little noise from other guests.

• Winod (10/5): Deluxe Suite with Free Parking and Scenic Walks in Spa - Oh wow, what an amazing apartment with free parking! We stayed in the deluxe suite which had a well-equipped kitchenette, a cozy living room, a modern shower and toilet, and a super spacious bedroom. The location is just a 20-minute walk to the Tourist Information Center of Spa. Make sure to grab a map there and take the beautiful historical walking tour through Spa city. From the B&B, you can stroll through the forested area to visit 2 water springs including the Barisart spring. Pro tip: bring a bottle so you can fill up with that fresh spring water. The breakfast we ordered at the B&B was delicious. The photos on Booking may give an outdated impression of the suite, but in reality, the rooms are beautiful. You won't regret your choice! We will definitely be coming back for another stay! -

• Giuliano (10/5): Wonderful - We had a lovely stay in this beautiful castle with the sweetest hostess. We loved our stay in Spa and felt at home at New Castle. Beautiful nature, friendly people and wellness at the Thermen.
• kimberley (10/5): Wonderful experience in this special castle - We were looking for a unique place to stay in Spa, and New Castle certainly fits the bill. The gracious owner welcomed us into her wonderful home, which is beautifully decorated and gives you that step back in time with its old world charm. But no fear the house is also updated to include modern necessities like wifi and the well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, etc. Free parking was available on the grounds. It was an easy drive to the Spa Thermes centre, or you can take a walk in the lovely neighbourhood. That we could not stay longer.

• Rasa (10/5): A very unique experience - Stay at New-Castle exceeded our expectations. It is amazing that such places still exist and the owners open the doors for others to experience how it is to live in an old castle. Very spacious place with thoughtful touches and antiques. Comfortable beds. Small and functional kitchen. Host's recommendations for restaurants in Spa were superb. Warm and kind host. Would definitely stay there again. A very minor nuisance was changes in water temperature in the shower (sudden increase in the temperature).

• Brandon (10/5): Beautiful, tale-telling, welcomming place within walking distance of Spa. - The property is something you’ll speak about for years to come with family and friends. Entering, it felt like being in a drama serie about people from high class. Returning at night, the property was beautifully lit and went up beautifully in the surrounding greenery. The room in which we stayed, the Hunter’s Room, was probably the most special room I have slept in so far, and our lovely host definitely showed her passion when it came to everything! It felt like coming (to a very luxurious) home, with a lovely and attentive host. Definitely would recommend staying there! That we could not stay longer, sadly.

• Teresa (10/5): Wonderful quiet pastoral stay in a 19th century Manor Home away from the busier part of Spa. - A wonderful overnight stay in a 19th century manor home that has been lovingly restored and maintained. The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating with our questions and needs. The grounds to the manor are well-maintained and added to the entire romantic experience. Free parking is available on site behind secure gate. Rooms were spacious, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the loving care and details that went into the restoration. There were kitchen facilities, coffee, teas, available, as well as sitting rooms, associated with each room. The manor is located a short drive up a hill, from city center of Spa. There is number of restaurant choices, and we found parking easily in the town center. Nothing.
