• Susanne (9/5): Besonderes Flair in einem spannenden Fachwerkhaus - Diese kleine und urgemütliche Ferienwohnung liegt nahe des Zentrums von Liège und hat einen Ausblick auf die Maas und die Touristinformation. Über eine vielbeschriebene und sehr schmale Wendeltreppe, die es mit möglichst kleinem und leichtem Gepäck zu erklimmen gilt, gelangt man in sein geschichtsträchtiges und gemütliches Heim. Der Holzfußboden scheint bei jedem Schritt Geschichten zu erzählen. 😉 Die Einrichtung ist spartanisch und passend zum Ambiente. Das Badezimmer bietet viel Platz. Caroline, die Gastgeberin, ist jederzeit per Mail oder WhatsApp zu erreichen und bei Fragen bzw. kleinen Problemen vor Ort. Vielen Dank, ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt!

• Koen (6/5): - De locatie is top! Veel lawaai, zowel buiten (mensen die uitgaan) de B&B als binnen. Doordat het een oud gebouw is, worden geluiden tussen de verdiepen niet gedempt.

• Charlotte (10/5): Unique and cozy stay, would come again. - What a unique and cozy stay! The room was fantastic - the hotel managed to create a comfortable room with modern amenities within the beautiful, old building. The room had so much character and the hotel was surrounded by cool restaurants. It was also a short walk to the main tourist attractions. I was upset we weren't able to have the breakfast in the cafe because it looked great. It could get a little loud at night with all the restaurants nearby, although the vibe was really fun. Also the stairs are I think the original stairs for the building, so make sure you're careful walking up and down.
• Stephanie (1/5): Achtung, Parken teuer und nur steile Wendeltreppe :( - Das Zimmer war nett, die Dame, mit der ich telefoniert habe, weil mir nicht klar war, wo ich Parken kann, auch. Man muss auf dem bezahl Parkplatz parken. Von abends 21:40 Uhr bis zum nächsten Morgen 06:40 Uhr habe ich 20€ für nur 1 Nacht bezahlt. Damit war dieses Zimmer zu teuer. Zudem führt eine sehr einge und vor allem steile Wendeltreppe hinauf, das stand vorher nirgends, denn man bekommt kaum einen Trolley hoch, da die Treppe auch schmal ist. Es gibt einen senkrechten Handlauf in der Mitte der Treppe, mit Trolley ist es fast unmöglich, dort hoch zu kommen, zumal mein Zimmer im 3. Stock war. Nie wieder! Für Gehbehinderte unmöglich, da hochzukommen, ob mit oder ohne Gepäck. Auch nicht für jeden Hund geeignet wegen der extrem steilen Treppe, die durch die spitzförmigen Stufen nur ganz außen sicher betreten werden kann, es passen jedoch kaum 2 Füße nebeneinander. Warum wird vor so etwas nicht gewarnt? Man erfährt es erst, wenn man dort ist und gebucht hat. Dazu die Parkkosten. Nie, nie wieder!

• Jean-Luc (8/5): A recommander pour un un mini trip à Liège - Cadre sympathique et bien équipé (accès aux chambres par escalier réservé aux personnes valides). Bonne situation, rue calme dans le centre ville. Accueil personnalisé et agréable.
• Petra (10/5): Zeer aangename plek om te slapen én om te eten. - Heel aangename, ruime en lichtrijke kamer. Heerlijk bed. Praktische badkamer met goede douche. Prima ontbijtplek centraal gelegen in een leuke buurt. Helemaal top! We kunnen niet meteen iets bedenken.

• Sophia (7/5): Schönes Zimmer, aber komischer Geruch - Schönes Zimmer wie dargestellt Sehr zentrale Lage Sehr enge Wendeltreppe, dem man sich bewusst sein muss. Der Raum hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch, der auch durch Lüften nicht wegging. Die Gastgeberin hat auf meine Nachricht dazu nicht geantwortet.

• Wibke (10/5): - unkomplizierter Check in mit Pin und Schlüssel auf dem Zimmer, schöne Lage im Zentrum, dennoch ruhig in der Nacht, mit Liebe eingerichtete Zimmer und sehr bequeme Betten (nur eine große Decke im Doppelbett), das urige Treppenhaus ist extrem schmal doch für sportliche Reisende mit kleinen Gepäck ein Erlebnis, auf dem Zimmer ein Wasserkocher mit Teebeutel, das Lokal im EG sah sehr gemütlich aus doch habe das Frühstück nicht gebucht, ums Eck viele nette Lokale und Discounter

Nous reviendrons ! :D - Charmant petit hôtel dans une vieille bâtisse du XVIIIème siècle dans une rue très calme au centre de Liège, à proximité immédiate de très bons restaurants, bars, cafés. Chambre spacieuse et très lumineuse. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Très bon et copieux petit déjeuner maison ! Bonne communication pour l'arrivée. Allez-y les yeux fermés.

• Matthew (9/5): Super charming place - Such a charming place! Lots of character. Owners were friendly and helpful. Ok location. Not something I didn’t like necessarily but is good to be aware about the stairs. There’s only a very steep narrow staircase so getting heavy luggage up and down was quite difficult (I’m a 24 y/o guy and wasn’t easy). If you struggle carrying luggage then you wouldn’t want a room on the 4th floor. But the owners did give us a choice of room ahead of time. Staircase was fine for us as it added vibes - others may not think so.

• Jeroen (8/5): Prima voor 1 nachtje en midden in het centrum! Wij liepen zo de kerstmarkt op (2 minuten lopen). - Oud pand uit de 18e eeuw wat het speciaal maakt. En kleinschalig (4 kamers), vinden wij erg prettig! Mooie oude wenteltrap die naar de kamers leidt. Voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn of veel/grote koffers hebben kan dit wel lastig zijn. Door aard van het gebouw (oud) erg gehorig. Je hoort duidelijk de boven- en beneden buren, zeker ook als mensen wandelen op de kamer. Maar als iedereen hier rekening mee houdt (beetje rustig praten, de tv niet te hard), dan is dit verder geen probleem en goed te doen. Zeker voor 1 nachtje!

Très facile d'accès, le code pour entrer vous est envoyé la veille. Catherine, la gérante, est très accueillante et il y a moyen de profiter d’un petit déjeuner et/ou d’un brunch.... Je recommande...

• Adele (8/5): Spannendes Haus und superfreundliche Landlady! - Irre altes Haus. Zimmer und Bad sehr großzügig. Abenteuerliche Treppe.
• Klaus (9/5): - Die Zimmer waren nett eingerichtet, die alte Bauweise kam noch zur Geltung. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die alte Holzflurtreppe war sehr schmal und steil, wie sie Früher nun mal waren.

• Betsy (6/5): Pleasant - The location is very nice, and the view of the Meuse from the bedroom. I feel it was not super clean, entrance corridor had lots of stains on the wall, the bedroom decoration was quite « cheap », carpet dusty, the bathroom shelf was broken and you can clearly hear your neighbours. Bathroom towels were very very old and grey-ish, soaps were from cheap brands, etc. For that range of price in liege I was expecting something exceptional, very comfy with high standing. All this together made us feel quite disappointed. This place could clearly do with a refreshing (offer new towels and higher brands for the equipment), and don’t charge 150€ for one night. It’s more expensive than most hotels in that area, where you can expect a higher « standing ». I felt if was more a Airbnb than an hotel to be honest, we didn’t have any contact with owners or people working there.

Very steep and short steps.This should be more prominently stated in the description/ title of the accommodation Not recommended in the summer. Hot and the fan provided was very noisy. The coffee shop in the photo was closed. In this neighbourhood no coffee shops open early in the morning.

• Brian (10/5): Charming heritage property in an historic area. - Very old but full of character. Beautiful exposed timber work throughout with plenty of restaurants and bars in close proximity. Nothing to dislike. Some may find the stairs daunting as they are in a steep narrow spiral with an intermittent vertical iron handrail. For a building erected in 1735 at was exactly what I expected.

• Meredith (10/5): Fantastic stay with a great location! - It was amazing. It was a grat location with a ton of restaurants and things to do in the area. Caroline was a great host. she had a cute cafe on the first floor where we ate breakfast every morning. I even forgot my charger and earring and she went out of her way to contact me. Honestly, not much. I had to pick, I would say the stairs. I knew there wasn't an elevator which was fine. I was unprepared for the tiny twisty turny narrow stairs.

• Mblemieux (9/5): Charming, Great Location, Great Price - This was right in the middle of town. Great location. Charming room in an old building. Interior was nevertheless modern. As with any old building, you will hear people moving about above you. This was NOT a deal breaker for us.
