• Thierry (10/5): An exquisite experience - The room with a view on the village is superb in the evening (sunset view). The birds singing in spring makes it a wonderful experience with many birds species competing for the most melodious song, and the nightingale enduring even after sunset. The rest of the aspects of the hotel: comfort, cleanliness, quality of the infrastructure, the delicious breakfast, the kindness and care of the owner. Perfect. No negative aspects to report. This was our best room for the whole trip.

As many reviews have noted, you have to walk about 50 metres uphill to get to hotel, make sure you've planned for that. Google maps took us down a dry canal instead of the correct road so important to watch for this.

• Thomas (10/5): Great hotel! - Great host! Excellent room and breakfast. Its just a short walk away from a good hiking trail. It's at the top of the town on a dort road, so dont expect to drive your low slung car up easily! We had a great stay and highly recommended the hotel.

Местоположението на къщата е отлично, в непосредствена близост до Кордопуловата къща, на пешеходно разстояние от всички механи в центъра на Мелник. Домакинята Маргарита Манолева е изключително любезна и дружелюбна, ще ви нагости с много вкусни домашни мекици на закуска и ще отговори на всички въпроси, които може да имате! Наблизо е и Вила Мелник, където може да опитате вина от местни сортове грозде, както и да направите обиколка на винарската изба и да се запознаете с процеса на производство на вино. Със сигурност ще се върнем пак! Няма такова нещо!

Стаята беше чиста , просторна , с автентичен дух и всички удобства. Топличко (посетихме през януари ) , с подово отопление , достатъчно топла вода , налични сешоар и необходима козметика в стаята. Хората, които се грижеха за нас бяха невероятно отзивчиви, с полезна информация и предложения за прекарване на нашето време в околността. Хора, които се просто те карат да се чувстваш чудесно, а приканват да се върнеш отново тук !

• Ангелина (10/5): Топлина, упт и незабравим престой! - Престоят ни в Манолева къща беше истинско удоволствие. Къщата е поддържана с внимание към детайла. Чисто, топло, подредено и с усещане за дом, а не просто за настаняване. Локацията е чудесна. Домакините са изключително любезни, усмихнати и готови да помогнат с всичко, от препоръки за винарни до идеи за разходки. Личи си, че влагат сърце в това място. Стаята беше комфортна, леглото удобно, а гледката—типично мелнишка, с онзи чар, който те кара да забавиш темпото и да си поемеш дъх. Бихме се върнали отново с удоволствие и със сигурност препоръчваме Манолева къща на всеки, който търси спокойствие, автентичност и истинско гостоприемство. Нямаме никакви забележки!

• Tom (10/5): Manoleva House is a true authentic Melnik expeirence, and we feel fortunate to of stayed in this fantastic house!. - This was a fantastic stay, and in my view the number one place to stay in Melnik! The hospitality of the staff was first class, with the host being very welcoming, with consist great recommendations. The rooms were very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We can’t wait to come back! Nothing, everything was great!

• Beloslava (10/5): - A wonderful place! The rooms are amazing – very clean, cozy, and well-equipped, just perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, and the view is simply amazing. Keep in mind that there is a bit of an uphill walk to reach the house, which might be challenging for people with limited mobility, but for us it wasn’t a problem.  What impressed us the most was the hospitality – you are welcomed warmly, always with a smile and genuine care. You truly feel as if you’re visiting friends rather than staying in a guest house. Highly recommended, and we would definitely come back again!

• Yamana (10/5): - Manoleva House is located right at the top of Melnik and has lovely views down the valley. It also means it is a bit further to walk than some other hotels. Directions are excellent - there is lots of parking (unlike further into town), and you have to walk the last 50m up a stone path to the hotel. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of power points, pleasant toiletries, and very good beds and bedding - we slept really well! The manager (owner?) was really helpful, spoke excellent English, and recommended (and booked) dinner for us at a local restaurant. Breakfast was also very good - the mekici were excellent! Nothing at all.

• uri koren (9/5): מלון נהדר עם בעית נגישות - המלון ממוקם במלניק בנקודה הגבוהה ביותר כך שהנוף מהמרפסת ממש מרשים. החדר שלנו היה ממוקם בקומה העליונה. החדר ענק נקי ומסודר אבל הסיגנון לאנשים מסוימים יראה קצת ישן. ארוחת הבוקר (לא בופה) חמודה מאוד. צוות המלון חביב מאוד ונענה לכל בקשה בשמחה וחיוך. אנחנו אנשים בגיל 60+. החניה נמצאת במרחק של כחמישים מטר במורד הגבעה. צריך כושר של נער כדי לעלות למעלה , ועוד עם מזוודות --בעיה גדולה. כשמגיעים למלון יש עוד שתי קומות (מדרגות) שצריך לטפס . איליה הבן עזר לי עם המזוודה הגדולה. ואת הטרול סחבתי בעצמי..

• Angela-Elena (10/5): Un loc deosebit cu oameni exceptionali! - Un loc de unde nu iti mai vine sa pleci! Este atat de frumos aici, gradina este un colt de rai iar in interior totul este perfect curat, aranjat cu gust si liniste deplina. Micul dejun a fost foarte bogat si cu multe fructe. Doamna Margarita Manoleva este un om deosebit, cum rar mai intalnesti. Si fiul ei la fel, foarte dedicat cramei “Shestaka” a unchiului sau, extrem de bine pregatit si cu multe cunostinte despre fabricarea vinului. Foarte bun vinul pe care l-am cumparat de aici (anul trecut pentru prima data am luat de la ei). De abia astept urmatoarea rezervare.

La mujer que lo lleva y su hijo, muy amables. la habitación era realmente bonita y grande, nos gustó mucho. Nos aconsejaron un sitio para cenar en el pueblo que nos gustó mucho. nada

Would recommend hike to monastery and visit to wineries. For those with mobility issues you may find the steps up difficult.
• נועה (10/5): מושלם!! - צוות משפחתי מקסים, נקיון מטורף, חדר מעוצב בסגנון אותנטי ובטוב טעם, נוף מהמם, מיקום מעולה וממש ליד שני מסלולי טיול מקסימים. העלייה למקום, אבל הנוף משם שווה את זה!!

Останахме очаровани от домакинята, която ни посрещна с голямо внимание и направи целия престой чудесен. Прекрасна домашна закуска! Има паркинг, който е на 100тина метра от къщата. Леглата бяха страшно удобни. Пътят е малко стръмен, но местните са свикнали и се преминава добре ако си внимателен.

The location was perfect for us - not too close to all the noise and not too far from all the restaurants. The room was a bit small but it was clean and quiet.

• Alain (10/5): Un accueil charmant dans une maison parfaitement rénovée qui surplombe tout le village de Melnik - Implanté au bout du village de Melnik, la maison surplombe le village en offrant une magnifique vue depuis les chambres. Celles ci sont confortables et bien aménagées. Toute la maison a bénéficié d’une rénovation pointilleuse. La décoration en bois cerusé rend l’aménagement de toute la maison cohérent et chaleureux. La propreté est exemplaire. Toute cette belle infrastructure est rehaussée de l’accueil et l’attention de la famille qui propose un petit déjeuné home made à savourer sur la terrasse. Vivement recommandé ! Tout était parfait.
• Anca (10/5): - Totul! Pensiunea este cochetă, bine întreținută, așezată intr-o zonă frumoasă ( vedere panoramica). Margarita este indatoritoare, vorbește engleză cursiv. Camera mare, curată. Micul dejun stil continental, dar f.bun! Există parcare, la aproximativ 40-50 metri de pensiune. Este o mică pantă până la pensiune, dar se poate urca fără probleme.

• Therese (10/5): Beautiful accommodation with lovely hosts - Margarita and her son Iliya were fabulous hosts. Margarita was prompt to respond on WhatsApp and so helpful. She gave me brilliant information on what to do in town, including the most wonderful sunrise hikes to the monastery and fortress with incredible views of the sandstone Earth Pyramids. She also helped me arrange the bus to Sofia. Amazing delicious breakfast with fresh fruit platters and options of homemade mekitsi or omelettes. Lovely shared space and patio with view. Beautifully clean and stylish property. This is located at the top of the town and very convenient to the Shestaka winery and Kordopulov House - both 20 meters away. It was 38 degrees the days I was there and I appreciated being able to enjoy some wines in the cool cave on such a hot day. The water drain in the bathroom is situated so the water still covers much of the floor.

Delicious breakfast in delightful surroundings. Leaving. However anyone with any mobility issues should be aware that here is a bit of a climb to get to the property although we are in our late seventies and managed perfectly well.
• Ouzo (10/5): Fantastic place to stay, strongly recommend it. - The location of the house is fantastic, it has a great panoramic view over Melnik and we thought it is the best house in the whole city. Margarita was simply superb host - really friendly, responsive, and takes fantastic care of her guests. The breakfast was homemade and traditional for Bulgaria and really tasty (also the portions were huge). The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the AC helps in the hot summer months. The guests have option to pick drinks from the common room (at an additional cost) and the fridge was very nicely stocked with anything you might want. Everything was great, nothing to complain about here.
• John (10/5): A Very Charming & Peaceful Melnik Stay - Manoleva House was a lovely day. We very much enjoyed their combinations and both the Owner and her son were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even bringing breakfast to our room each morning. They went out of our way to make sure our state was comfortable. Location was private, and the facilities clean. The location is charming as it’s higher up in town and very quiet. Highly recommend. The main hotel was a little difficult for my mom to reach as she is older and so the owners offered us an apartment just down the street that was much easier for her to access.
