• Silvina (10/5): Отново в Къщата - Отлично местоположение. В близост са повечето от най-посещаваните заведения за хранене. Пеша се отива и до основните музеи, църкви и Царевец. Посещаваме Къщата за втори път и отново останахме очаровани от гостоприемните димакини.

Apartamentul de la mansardă e necompartimentat, curat, potrivit pt cazare pt o noapte în drum spre casă venind din Grecia. Salteaua patului dublu este moale, am simțit că mă scufund când m-am așezat pe pat. Aș fi preferat o saltea mai fermă.

• Mick. (7/5): Good location. - Large room. Excellent location. Comfortable. The balcony looked dangerous and there is absolutely no view whatsoever because of the trees. You were not allowed to use the washing machine. You had to give your laundry to the host who would wash it for you at a charge.

• Ancuta (7/5): Quite ok for transit if you are not very picky - Location excelent, the owner very kind and helpful, good value for money; Parking next to property. - coloured bed linen, coloured towels- not hygenic and comfortable at all; white ones would be a big plus 🙃 - old house without PVC carpentry, quite noise in the evening, but not for many hours (motors /traffic).

• Răzvan (9/5): - The owner was very nice, helpful and welcoming, giving us a load of information about the city and what to see. The location is very good, as you can get to most of the touristic objectives in the Old Town easily by foot and you can find most things you need within reach. The bed was very comfortable. Be advised that since the building is an old one, there is no elevator (in the case of disabled persons or very heavy luggage). This is not the owner's/property's responsibility, but the parking is a bit tricky in the location. There are public parking, which you have to pay for between 09:00 and 17:00, but finding a spot is difficult, since it's always pretty crowded.

• Stanlley (8/5): Повече от очакваното - Бяхме в студиото на последния етаж, освен стълбите нагоре и скосяванията в стаята (за които знаехме), няма други забележки. Домакинът е много приятен и услужлив. Локацията е отлична. Препоръчвам за семейство с 1 или 2 деца.

Emil is a fantastic host, one of the best I've met (and in the last 34 years I've travelled a lot, but such a nice person is very seldom to find). Always he's looking to find a solution for your needs and requests. Nothing to complain

• Caroline (6/5): Not great - Bedroom is a big light room with sitting area. It's a nice place to be during the day. It's nice that there is a communal area downstairs where you can make tea and a sandwich (no real cooking facilities). Blackout curtains in the room are pretty good. Location is bordering the very small touristy/artisinal pedestrian streets area. I did not sleep well here. Fri night - music noise till 10pm from bars outside. Sat noise went on longer, till midnight at least. Early in the morning (4/5am) there are noisy trucks that empty rubbish containers on the square in front. I only stayed Fri and Sat so don't know if other nights are quieter (they probably are) but apart from this the mattress is also thin and saggy. Cig smoke smell in bathroom when switching on ventilator. VT as a whole is disappointing. It's a town filled with noisy smelly traffic wherever you go. No real city centre and the fort is basically a nice park with some old walls. The restaurant the owner recommended had a bad review about worms (!!) in the food (pics included).so I opted for making my own sandwiches instead.
• Yamasami (9/5): Relaxing stay in Veliko Tarnovo - We had a very enjoyable time at The House. Emil, the host, was very kind. He met us when we arrived, let us in, gave us a little tour of the place, showed us our room, and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The beds were comfy, the wifi worked great, the location was excellent, checking in and out was a breeze, we had plenty of hot water, there were several outlets throughout the room, and there was a fridge and some utensils downstairs that we could use. Overall, we had a very relaxing time and would certainly stay there again. I always try to think of some negatives, although they are often not very significant, so here goes: 1) The place is cash only. 2) There is a small "kitchen" in the common area but no cooking facility. 3) The room is very sparsely decorated and feels a bit old-fashioned. Despite all that, as I said above, we had a very relaxing time and would certainly stay there again.

• Nomadic Storyteller (8/5): - Great value option and perfect location, specious comfortable rooms, and a communal kitchen downstairs. This is my second time, and I will happily stay again
• Nomadic Storyteller (8/5): Great value, great location and friendly helpful staff. - With large sized rooms, kitchen facilities the hotel offered great value for money, the location in the center of the town was very convenient and the owner was very help and quick to respond. Highly recommended. Perhaps the stairs created a little noise as other guest entered or exited but this is a minor annoyance.
