The owners drove me to the train station because there was no taxi available. Fridge in the room was noisy. The mattress with the springs could be renewed,
Debbie (8/5): Convenient Clean 2nd Night stay - Availability, only one bus arrival per day and 1x 6am departure which I found out when I arrived in town so needed to book a 2nd night in Belgogradchik. The Drakta was a 5minute walk from my original hostel so very convenient and despite having to call staff as there were 2 men sleeping in the room I was allocated originally I ended up on the top floor with a room looking upto the fortress- great view and only a 5 minute walk upto it. Amazing views at sunset over the valley. Freshly decorated, clean,colourful,secure room with TV and fridge and small balcony= great. I asked if there was a kettle which staff was very helpful in letting me borrow for the night thank you. Plenty of room and only 1 other room (empty)sharing the bathroom so that was a bonus. The lead on the a/c unit didn't reach the plug which I didn't notice until staff had shown me in so no A/C. It was super warm at night so I left the door to the balcony open which meant limited sleep as there are barking dogs for hours it feels and then early morning lots of young people coming back form a party - super noisy no sleep as it was too hot with the door/window closed.

Ingmar (9/5): Superb - Excellent guesthouse, really close to Belogradchik Fortress, and just 15 minutes from the town itself. Owner speaks perfect English and arranged a tour to the caves and taxis for me. He can also take you on a 4x4 tour through the Belogradchik Rocks/Mountains.
