Посрещна ни Лидия - една енергична, любезна, гостоприемна, усмихната дама, която поддържа този дом с много любов и направи краткия ни престой пълноценен. Със сигурност бих посетила отново и вече препоръчах на приятели.
• Happy_tourist (9/5): Разходка до Тракийската гробница - Отлично местоположение в близост до крепостта Неутзикон. Посрещнаха ни лично - много преди обявеното в booking време. Тихо, чисто и поддържано място - изцяло отговаря на снимките. Тишина, спокойствие и китна градина с басейн, уникални иглолистни и дървета с узрели плодове - дюля, нар, маслина. Село Мезек ни впечатли с добре поддържана инфраструктура и къщи. Закуската като комплимент към Genius потребители е символична. Няма добро покритие на мобилните оператори. По мое мнение това е плюс - наистина се изключваш от мрежата :D Всичко беше чудесно. Wi-Fi услугата не е особено добра. Друг допълнителен детайл за уединение и удобство на гостите би било добавянето на завеса (щори) към остъклената входна врата на самостоятелната стая. Така красиво осветената градина нощем няма как да смути съня на по-чувствителните към светлина хора.

• Julie (10/5): An excellent, dog-friendly stay. - Lydia was amazing! She looked after us very well and made sure we had everything we needed. The bar a short walk down the road was excellent. The owner showed us great kindness and the locals made us very welcome. Lovely, quiet location. Secure parking onsite meant that we didn’t need to unpack the car for our one night stay. The property is ideally located for the border crossing.

• Marianne (8/5): Spacious grounds and helpful host. - Ample grounds, great and helpful hostess, flexibility to store things in her drug and use her tea kettle, convenient to the Mezek tomb, convenient parking. Bed rather uncomfortable.
• Peter (9/5): Raiski Kat - good and comfortable hub for activities in the area - Mezek is favorably located at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains, where Bulgaria, Turkey, and Greece border with another. There are remains of a large Thracian tomb and a medieval fortress that I intended to visit, more such archeologic and historic attractions are nearby. Raiski Kat was a good hub for these activities. I slept well in a nice room, had a good breakfast for start in the day, there is a beautiful garden outside around, kitchen is well equipped and organised. I felt good and comfortable.
• Daniel (7/5): Satisfactorily - I liked the location, the fact that I could park in the yard (in fact, the place where I parked only fits two cars), the kindness of Mrs. Lidia, and the fact that the location is equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was totally inadequate. I got three large slices of fried bread with a little fig jam (which I have to admit the fig jam was good) and a large cup of yogurt. It wasn't a happy combination, at least for me. Everything is quite outdated, or perhaps worn out, which creates the feeling of being outdated. The heating system was just for decoration, there was nothing in the specifications to warn us that it was not working. The heating was done by turning on the air conditioning unit on hot air, which was totally inappropriate with an outside temperature of -3 degrees Celsius. I mean, we made it cold. When you enter the bathroom you instantly freeze. I think it is not fair play not to warn your guests that the heating system is not working. If I had known that the heating is done with the help of the air conditioning unit, I honestly would not have booked this place. I'm sorry I have to write all this but this is the truth. Guests need to know these things. Probably, when the weather is good, it is a perfect location. Unfortunately when I stayed it was not what it should be. I suffer from a terrible disease, ankylosing spondylitis, and the cold endured in the bathroom and in general created great pain for me that I would not wish on anyone.

Lydia, the lady that works here, is very kind and helpful. There is a kitchen that you can use. The bed was very uncomfortable. The springs of the mattress push very hard into your body.

• Dorel (10/5): A lovely hidden garden - Located at the bottom of a small mountain, the propertyit has a gorgeous garden with lots of outdoor dining and resting areas. We enjoyed the trees in blossom in this period. It is a all year round place, no matter the weather. We really loved this quiet hidden garden.

• Malcolm (10/5): Lovely stay. - For us, the place is ideal as a stopover on our trip to Turkey. Lydia is amazing. She is so helpful and kind. Even though for us there is a language barrier, that made no difference at all. This was our second stay at Raiski Kat, and we will be returning. A lovely stay, thankyou. We liked everything about Raiski Kat. It should be noted though that Mezek is very quiet
• Heike (10/5): A fantastic place - It was just fantastic. Lidia was a great hostess. We were traveling with bicycles, could do our laundry there and all our wishes were fulfilled perfectly. We were only there for one night. but actually one should have stayed longer in this oasis.

• John (10/5): A quiet relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. - Lidia gave us lovely breakfasts with something different every day, and she was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a good sized en-suite bathroom. The location in a small quiet village is ideal for those who love peace, tranquility, and nature. There is a small village shop/cafe a short walk away, a one man winery that only opens at weekends, a fortress up on top of the hills above the village reached after a 1.2 km uphill walk. There is also a Thracian tomb about a kilometre away. The small swimming pool is ideal to cool off in, and there are recliners to relax on. The grounds are well kept and lovely, and self-catering needs are well provided for. There was parking outside the property on the pavement. Everything was perfect for us, but then we love peace and quiet far away from shops, crowds and traffic.

• Martin (9/5): we loved this place, - The location of this property was a little out of the way, but was a easy drive from the motorway, so never a problem. The property is lovely, clean and comfortable. The hosts are lovely people, they could not do enough for you. We will certainly stay here again I do not think there was anything we did not like about our stay there. The only thing some people may not like is that the cooking facilities like the oven are in a kitchen on site, and not in your room, but that set up worked perfectly for us.

The property and gardens are fantastic, and the facilities are all that you'll need for a fabulous break. The area is well worth exploring, with an ancient fortress, a thracian tomb nearby, and a winery in the village that you can visit at weekends. Not a thing!!

• Anthony (9/5): Great convenient overnight stay in Bulgaria near the Turkish border - Great & convenient place to stay before crossing the border into Turkey or alternatively travelling back to the UK. Very friendly & customer focused lady who met us at the door & looked after all our needs. Clean, comfortable & within an emasculate & well maintained garden. Quite an interesting village also with historical sites to visit nearby. Would not hesitate recommending to family & friends. The name of the hotel plaque was in Bulgarian so we did not initially recognise it as the place we were looking for. Would help greatly if was displayed in both Bulgarian & English near the entrance gate or alternatively on the Booking.com site.

Traditional rich breakfast for a fresh start. Unfortunately, we were for one night only, but will return for a longer stay. Definitely recommend.

She made a very rich and delicious breakfast for us. She took care of everything we needed and was the most polite person in the world. We felt at home there. I recommend the place with both hands and for sure will come back. The mattress was not so comfortable.
