- Thea (10/5): Cosy and sweet - We had an economy room booked but Dimitri upgraded us to a room with a balcony top floor and the views of the mountains were spectacular. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and cleaned everyday and towels were also changed. Dimitri and his wife are nice and friendly. The house is cosy. And it is also only 15 min walk from everything you need for skiing. We will definitely come again!

- David (10/5): O oprire senzationala in Bansko - The cabin is very beautiful, very well arranged. Everything is done with good taste in the style of the area where we are I appreciated the impeccable cleanliness of the entire building, not just the room. The staff was a 10. They called us before arriving to tell us that they were waiting for us at the accommodation to give us the key. They asked us if we wanted them to heat our outdoor bathtub because it was cool. We will definitely return to this accommodation. Thank you for everything! The shower in the bathroom of room no. 7 did not have the best drainage system and you could wet the whole bathroom. But with a little care everything is ok. This is not an impediment for anyone. Maybe in the future an anti-slip mat would be good.

- Marius (10/5): Second time there, I loved it! - I had a double room and when I got there I updated to grand suite, which was amazing. It was my second there. The family is really nice, I had breakfast everyday, which was very good. Just what you need before going skiing. It's warm all the time in the house, except during the day, when probably they lower the temps a bit. But after 5 pm until the next morning it's very warm. You can find parking on the streets, it's very quiet, no loud noises, the road was recently renovated. Nothing

Needs modern electrical upgrade to do thing like charge mobile phones with USB wall sockets. The kind owner did lend me an adapter but dedicated standard USB wall chargers would be a great advance. I had to ask for tea etc. It used to be in all the rooms next to the kettle but no longer. Hower ever i was shown where to get the tea etc in the breakfast room. The breakfast has significantly inceased in price whilst the available chioice gas also been reduced since I last stayed. Still a great family chalet styje hotel.

Dimitar helped store our bikes safely and enabled a late check out for our ill friend. Comfortable apartment, good breakfast. Bit tricky to find as the name outside is in Bulgarian Cyrillics and does not directly match the name on Booking.com. But this is a minor problem, the stay at Zigen House was very good.

Everywhere in the house it was clean and beautiful. we had breakfast there and it was delicious. The owner even has a special room for ski equipment so you won't have to carry them in the room, and the ski boots get dry there. The location is in a very quiet area. About 15 min walk to the Gondola. Nothing

The owners went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that was so homey and clean. Usually, I prefer more modern decor but the style of Zigen House is so charming - especially the fireplace in the dining area. We also used the sauna twice while staying and really enjoyed it.

It has restaurant with good breakfast, which costs extra, but is worth it. Having it non-included in price is actually good because our room had a kitchenette (kettle, microwave, dishes) so we used it the other day to make own breakfast. Nice mountain view. Modern large bathroom with hot shower and good water pressure. Very warm! maybe too warm to my taste. Spacious room, enough furniture. Enough parking on a street nearby even at X-mas season. Overall - very nice stay for not a lot of money even in a season. Minor: 4th floor, no lift, lots of bags. Well that was 'penthouse'. Other rooms are probably more accessible. Strange pillows, may need replacement. The bed was squeaky :) so maybe some fixing is needed here.

Outdoor area was lovely, breakfasts tasty enough, and the owner was very friendly, polite and helpful, always tried to make us feel comfortable and wanted. The location is a bit off which was just what we wanted - easy car access to leave Bansko while still close enough to walk to the town center. Excellent value. If I'll ever visit Bansko again I will likely come back here.

The rooms were lovely and well appointed, the hosts were friendly and helpful. The eating area and outside were lovely too. Close to things in town. And breakfast was terrific!
