До къщата се стига лесно дори и без Google maps, Waze или др. приложения. Непосредствено до къщата има паркинг. Стаите са чисти и много уютни. Санитарните помещения също са чисти, широки и удобни. Предложената закуска напълно ни задоволи. Домакините Джеймс и Трина бяха изключително любезни и отзивчиви. Мястото надмина очакванията ни! Ще го посетим отново. Силно препоръчваме! Няма нещо което да не ни е харесало.

James and Trina are fantastic hosts who genuinely care and will go the extra distance to make sure their guests are well looked after. The shared space is beautiful and comforting. A well stocked bar with rarely available ales and stouts. Well worth a visit. Value for money is superb. Thank you James and Trina for a fantastic weekend!

• Denise (10/5): Friendly stay - Owners are so delightful and you feel like part of a family. They ordered dinner from a local haunt for us and provided a nice breakfast in the morning. I went for a short walk in the morning to catch sunrise from nearby hill. Lodge is close to main highway back to Sofia. We did rent a car for our touring which made travel to Mountain View easy.

• Cristina (10/5): Hidden gem in the mountains - This is like a hidden gem in a small village in Bulgaria! We never hoped of finding such amazing accommodation. Very nice design, the hosts are friendly and have a lot of interesting stories 😁 If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is perfect! Nothing to add here. Maybe only that our stay here was too short
• Plamen (9/5): Great place in a quiet area suitable suitable for travellers - The lodge was in a secluded area, away from heavy traffic which was great. The hosts were friendly and kind! We were a group of 4 and traveled with motorcycles. There was plenty of space to park the motorcycles and keep them safe. The rooms were cozy with private baths. There was big shared space inside with a bar some tasty english beer and fully equipped kitchen! Nothing to add here.

The surrounding area is peaceful and offers lots of options for nature walks. The hosts are extremely nice and friendly. The house accepts pets which was the main factor in our choice. I recommend it to everyone!

• Nikolay (9/5): Charming countryside retreat with friendly hosts, serene setting, and British flair - The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, going above and beyond by providing toys and a cozy play area for our children. The house is nestled in a picturesque countryside near the Macedonian border, offering a peaceful setting. The comfortable living room boasts a charming British flair, while the practical kitchen and standard breakfast meet our needs. The expansive garden beautifully integrates with the green surroundings, allowing us to observe wildlife like deer. Although our ground floor room for four was slightly compact and would benefit from more seating, it did feature a large bed and a spacious veranda. Overall, our experience was absolutely delightful. The garden is stunning, but it would be even more enjoyable with additional seating areas, a beautifully paved walking path encircling it, sun-protective umbrellas, and improved lawn maintenance to enhance its overall appeal.
• Martin (10/5): Exceptional - An exceptional experience. Managed by a british couple, placed in absolute silence on the country side, milky way fully visible at night. An excellent restaurant nearby, and the perfect starting point to explore the Osogovo mountains and its rich flora.

Well, look no further because this lodge has it all! I am a Bulgarian who lives in the UK and I was pleasantly surprised when I bumped into this lodge. I don’t know from where to begin? From the exquisite hospitality I experienced, to the peaceful stay I had . I must highlight that the rooms were brilliant, absolutely cozy atmosphere, gorgeous breakfast and last but not least the hospitality. My days, to say that I enjoyed my stay would be an understatement. I would recommend the lodge with both my hands and one thing is for sure I certainly shall be back. Thank you both James and Trina!!! There’s nothing I didn’t like during my stay.

• Megy (10/5): My dreamed relaxing escape from the city stress - I had a super relaxing stay at Mountain View Lodge. If you want to escape the stressful city life - this is your place. The Lodge is on a very easy to find place and in the same time, you are in a quiet village with a mountain view, which has all the amenities you might need, no matter if it is a short or a long stay. It is newly renovated house, with modern equipment, very clean rooms and common spaces, personal terrace for each room, where you can enjoy your coffee while listening to the birds and enjoying the silence. There is also a great bar where you can spoil yourself with something to drink in the evening, comfortable couches in the common area with a fireplace, which makes it even more romantic/relaxing during the winter. James and Trina are the best hosts, they were very nice, gave me a lots of information about the area and good tips for things to do. I wanted to go horse riding nearby and they spoke with the rancho owner in order to facilitate me - highly appreciated all their efforts to help with whatever I needed during my whole visit. However, these days the weather was a little bit rainy, so I used the opportunity to read my book all day on the comfortable chesterfield couch 📖 Very important to mention is that the breakfast was very delicious- I will miss it back home 😁 The first morning I was very tired so overslept for breakfast, but Trina kept it for me, so not to leave me hungry ❤️ Also feedback for solo travelers- I was a solo traveller girl.. in the forest .. and felt very safe all the time, which made my stay even more relaxed. Thank you very much James and Trina for everything 😊 I will definitely come back to do some yoga next time and escape the city!
• Irina (9/5): Superb - The owners are warm, charming and funny. They made us feel at home during our stay. They have gathered all the information about food and activities in the area so you can have it handy in your room. I loved the fact that the towels are really big and you don't have to decide which parts of your body are more important and deserve to be covered.
