• Susie (10/5): Homely, attractively furnished, friendly and very relaxing - a great place to stay off the beaten path! - I liked that it was a few km from the centre of town. The grounds were spacious, with several hammocks and with a river flowing nearby. The room was comfortable and attractive. There was a wide balcony outside the room, with table and chairs to enjoy the scenery. The dining area was spacious but beautifully set up with lovely crockery and rustic charm. The breakfast was plentiful with many options. The grounds included an area for camping, it is a mini ranch with three horses. There was a very relaxed feeling, nothing was too much trouble and we even had a campfire one evening. Very relaxing, was made to feel at home and felt very welcomed with my dog. It was wonderful having a lot of space for him to run around. I enjoyed too that there was much to explore in the opposite direction- I was glad to have brought my bike. The road by the pousada was very flat, so great for cycling. There’s a good restaurant 3 km the opposite direction to town. The town centre was an easy ride in and much easier by bike, so that I didn’t need to worry about finding where to park the car. All in all a wonderful stay, I hope to be back.
