• Athanasios (8/5): Authentic place at the top of a slope - The place is full of soul and beautiful elements. Daniel is very welcoming and helpful and was offering coffee every morning. This place is in between a hotel and a hostel, I had my own room but the bathroom and the other areas are shared. There is a supermarket right next the building. It’s located up on a hill so get ready to walk all the way up, it’s easier to get there by bike.

• Vladimir (8/5): All in all, would totally stay again. - Daniel's a great host—super helpful and always there if you need anything. The location is perfect. You're right between El Poblado (where all the parties are) and the tourist center. It's just a short Uber ride to either. The house is a little old-school and could use a refresh, but don't let that stop you - it's a solid deal for what you pay.

• Hachig-Rudolph (10/5): - The person in charge was especially helpful. The decor is kind of funky. I liked it. There is a small grocery store next door. I didn't like the hill it was on. That said, it is a quick and easy walk to the CBD.

The room had a double bed, wardrobe, window, bedside table. It’s not a nosy area and the room or at least mine was quiet. Wifi wasn’t the best in my room

He volunteered to make me homemade pizza when I arrived late from the airport, provided excellent travel recommendations, kept a watchful eye on me as I was touring while touring Medellin, and even did my laundry. He was spectacular, and I will definitely stay here again.

• Evelyn (8/5): Awesome host, great value - Great value. He unexpectedly upgraded my room to one with a private washroom with hot water for no extra cost. Daniel is an awesome host that goes above and beyond to be kind, help you with your bags, make a delicious breakfast, local tips. He’s the best! Not the most glamorous rooms, pillows and mattress smelled like smoke kind of. Not unbearable though. The downstairs neighbours were pretty noisy starting around 6:30am, but that’s everywhere in the city.
