• Chávez Jaramillo (1/5): Estafa, perdimos nuestro dinero - El alojamiento estaba bien ubicado y tenía un lugar bueno para tomarse fotos. Además el Wi-Fi funcionaba Desde el comienzo de la alojamiento, la habitación era demasiado calurosa se metían los mosquitos y el gen y eso que había una mayita ahí para tapar la vaina. Dejamos las ventanas abiertas y la puerta, para ver si ventilaba cuando regresábamos a las cinco de la tarde y hacía más calor. Nos bañamos y salíamos era sudado. Es un lugar al que no volvería. Había Full consumo de sustancias que se sentía en el ambiente, lo cual hacía que también fuera incómodo, además que el agua hasta te la cobran el dueño, sabiendo todos los problemas que tiene la instalación, prefirió engañarnos y nos regresó como un 20% de la reserva en fin no es como lo pintan las fotos no es un lugar ni amigable ni agradable, ni que disfruten. La instancia hace demasiado calor y el personal no son las personas más amables.

• Danna (10/5): INCREÍBLE - Me encantó la energía del lugar es muy lindo, el personal es muy amable, me quede en habitación privada y muy muy cómoda, los desayunos son increíblemente deliciosoossss. El olor de la habitación.
• Shireen (4/5): War okay - Die Lage ist gut. Nette Gäste. Die Mitarbeiterin Nicole war sehr freundlich und nett. 😃 -sehr kleines Zimmer -im Zimmer war es unglaublich warm! Keine AC , die kleinen Ventilatoren am Bett haben kaum was genutzt, 1 Deckenventilator. - Ablagen und der kleine Stauraum sehr staubig - Mitarbeiterinnen haben mit im Dorm geschlafen, - auf den Bildern schaut es besser aus Internet vs. Realität Mir hat es persönlich nicht so gut gefallen aber Geschmäcker sind ja zum Glück verschieden 😃

Al parecer les interesan más los extranjeros y eso puede resultar discriminatorio para quienes somos de Colombia

• Jesus David (4/5): No fue lo que esperaba y muy frustrante lo de la noche sin energia electrica - En la noche se fue la energia electrica y al consultar que si tenian alguna planta la respuesta fue que solo la prendian de dia, por lo que la noche la pase a oscuras y con un calor terrible.

• Serrano (10/5): Maravilloso - Mi estadía en Palomino fue magnífica! Freesoul está super bien ubicado! cerca de la playa y de la vía principal, se puede cocinar, tiene una hermosa energía! Lo mejor de su hostal es la vibra de todas las personas, los voluntarios, Satili y Pepa las más tiernas y hermosas😍! ...Los desayunos de Betty son deliciosooos😋Es muy cómodo hacer ejercicio en el área de gimnasio, también disfrute mucho la clases de yoga, las hamacas…todo! Increíble Freesoul! Volvería siempre!!☺️

El señor que trabaja en la cocina no es para nada amable, ni con los huéspedes ni con el personal que trabaja allí, le hace falta mantenimiento a las instalaciones, le hacen falta espacios y elementos para hacer diferentes actividades (piscina, mesa de Ping pong en buen estado, mesa de billar, etc).

Manque vraiment de propreté - Personnel très gentil Bon petit déj si on prend les gaufres ( les autres options était de plus petites portions) Bien situé La saleté Le dortoir était très petit. Peu de rangement et peu confortable par l'étroitesse de la pièce. La lumière ne fonctionnait pas au bout de la pièce. Le dortoir et la salle de bain n'a pas été nettoyé pendant bien 3 jours. L'espace pour faire de la musculation ou du yoga était très sale et les tapis encore plus. Le WiFi ne fonctionnait pas très bien

• Tonia (9/5): Overall great value and enjoyable stay - Private rooms had the right level of privacy and integration with the property. Size of room and bathroom was comfortable. Simple but pleasant accommodations. Ideal location, easy to get around town, but not too close to beach (so quieter at night than some other hostels). Bed and pillow were a bit uncomfortable. Mosquito net fell off the wall while I was there - could be installed more securely.

• Bercin (10/5): Stay at Freesoul - Freesoul has such a unique vibe! The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is just amazing. Plus, the location couldn‘t be better. Highly recommend!
• Marliese (9/5): Superb - The Freesoul Hostel has a good location in being very central and still not too far from the beach, which means everything is walkable. It is rather quiet, so it's perfect if you want to relax. They offer nice breakfast and a chill overall vibe. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
• Bethany (5/5): Rude receptionist - Receptionist man was rude and patronising. While I know basic Spanish to get by whilst travelling, I’m not fluent. Instead of using Google Translate—which I had open on my phone—to communicate about their delayed check-in due to a power cut, he condescendingly asked where I was from and questioned me as to why I didn’t speak Spanish. He then continued speaking at me in Spanish (instead of using Google translate) in a passive-aggressive manner.

The breakfast was too delicious, complete and the coffee wonderful. The room and space was very comfortable and clean, the decoration was very beautiful, all the people were very friendly. Nothing, really everything was very good.

• Cláudia (7/5): It was alright, they can do better - Staff was great and the breakfast was really good. The laundry was a joke. Gave some clothes for laundry, they came back more than 24h later with the same stains and an horrible smell . I told them about that happening and the only feedback we got us that they would be able to do anything, they tried to take out the stains but without ruining the fabric they wouldn’t come off. Later on I added soap and water on top of the stain and rubbed the fabric together and the stain completely vanished..

Cheap hostel When power falls in Palomino all the hostels have generators. The one at the hostel didn’t work for about 7 hours and the owner couldn’t care any less. Staff were all clueless volunteers who had maybe a week of experience

• Mathilde (9/5): Superb - Very nice hostel, it's quite small so there is not a lot of people so the hostel is quiet at nights. If you want to party hard, you can go somewhere else or the beach. Breakfast was great and it's amazing to be able to chose between 4 different types every day! I had a massage when I was there and it was one of the best I ever had, the lady had just the right pressure, I wish I remembered her name to recommend...and it's not expensive and they come to you. Nice touch to have a mosquito net and a fan by the bed. Nice staff and volunteers. They do try to organise activities, the most regular being dancing classes at the hostel itself, and I think it's a great effort. There is a kitchen to cook if you feel like it. Price is great. The hostel is also midway between the beach (if you want to surf or take the sun or go to the parties) and the end of the town, so you are in the middle of a lot of restaurants, shops etc On the slightly negative side, I think a swimming pool would be great, it was super hot and the sea was too rough to swim. Then it would be perfect. Also, power cut do happen in Palomino, in this case be aware you won't have a fan during the night to sleep and it's super hot (but also in other hostels).

Breakfast amazing and included in the price, makes my life so much easier. Just choosing between 4 delicious options. The dorms are nice there is a little space next to the bed, for everyday stuff, so useful. Location is great, in the main road, and not too close from the sound of the parties It's perfect

• Roohi (8/5): A charming sanctuary amidst the action-packed atmosphere in Palomino. - A beautiful sanctuary in a quieter location that is still close to the beach and near all the restaurants. Great daily morning yoga and evening dance classes. Good breakfast with excellent coffee. The owner is wonderful and helpful, as are all the staff. The private room showers overlook trees — such a great nature view! Keep in mind there isn’t air conditioning. The fan made it comfortable for sleeping at night time but the days can get really hot in the room depending on the time of year.
• Elisabettabianco95 (2/5): High Hopes, But Disappointed at Freesoul Hostel - The hostel offers a very good breakfast, although I had some reservations considering the state of the kitchen in which it was prepared. The salsa class provided was enjoyable and a highlight of my stay. The beds were comfortable. Cleanliness was a major concern. The state of the bathrooms was particularly disappointing. The kitchen, which I had hoped would be a convenient facility to prepare meals, was in such poor condition that it was unusable. This forced me to eat out more, increasing my expenses. The yoga mats were old and falling apart, which made them difficult to use. Nighttime disturbances, especially from a barking dog, disrupted the peace. The room cleanliness did not live up to expectations, especially considering the beach location. I did not observe any cleaning efforts during my stay; no one swept the floors from the sand once in 5 days. The reception staff’s attitude was off-putting; their approach sometimes felt patronizing, as if guests were being treated like children. Contrary to its advertised image as a social hostel with an appealing Instagram page, the vibe was not social or welcoming. This was particularly noticeable during Christmas, as the hostel did not organize any events for the holiday, missing an opportunity to create a festive atmosphere.
