• Sara (10/5): Llegué al paraíso ❤️ - Desde el minuto uno supe que había llegado a un lugar especial. Dani, Ema, Santi y los voluntarios me hicieron sentir en casa. Estuve 2 semanas disfrutando de ese paraíso mientras trabajaba online sin problemas, súper a gusto y muy feliz de haber elegido el lugar correcto😊❤️.

• Lea (9/5): Beautiful spot - We had a really nice stay at Pelican House. The staff is very nice and helpful. The vibes are really chill and we loved our cabin in the middle of the beautiful garden in front of the sea. Also the shared kitchen and terrace were perfect for our needs.

• María (10/5): Desconexión - El alojamiento es un remanso de paz en un sitio paradisíaco, enfrente está la playa donde puedes surfear olas increíbles y detrás la más densa y bonita vegetación. Si te fijas podrás ver un montón de animales conviviendo contigo en perfecta armonía. El pueblo se encuentra a unos 15 minutos caminando,pero también tienes opción de ir en tuk tuk. Los desayunos son ricos y abundantes. La gente que lo regenta con muy buena onda,te ayudan en todo lo que necesites y te hacen sentir como en casa. Sin duda un lugar de ensueño para desconectar y conectar con tu esencia PD:leí en comentarios que para llegar te tienes que mojar pero no es cierto,tienes tres caminos para llegar y solo en uno te mojas, además tienes buena conexión a internet por si necesitas seguir conectado.Aunque sin duda lo mejor es dejarse fluir y disfrutar de tanta naturaleza Todo estuvo perfecto!

Gimnasio rústico al aire libre. Ubicación a pie de playa. La limpieza tanto de los baños como de la cocina podría ser mejor. Más luz en la habitación porque no se veía mucho aunque estuviera la luz encendida.

• Maria Del Mar (10/5): I’m dreaming of coming back - A bed in the heart of paradise. The staff is amazing (special thanks to Juan, he was extremely helpful and so so nice) the hostel is located in the beach and the jungle (in el valle those two things are the same thing) so cleanses and comfort is exceptional for the location meaning: align your expectations and enjoy being in the heart of nature. I love it all!!

Parfait pour un séjour entre jungle et océan dans une atmosphère agréable. Mode de vie à la cool sans être pressé. J'ai également pu étudier quand je voulais grâce au WiFi de très bonne qualité.

Recomendamos el tour nocturno en la selva, de lo mejor que hicimos. También recomendamos los cuartos privados, muy lindos y tranquilos. Es un poco dificil llegar y ubicar la entrada del hotel y no venden nada de comida.

• Sophie (10/5): - I loved to stay at the Pelican House Hostel! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. The rooms are simple but clean, and I enjoyed waking up to a view of the jungle right from my bed. There are hammocks right in front of the dorms (and downstairs) where you can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the beach and ocean — such a peaceful spot! The beach is only a one-minute walk away through the hostel’s lovely "garden"/plants. To buy some groceries to cook one can go to El Valle in 15 - 20 minutes walking. Additionally, you can book tours (like a night walk through the jungle) directly at the hostel, which I found super convenient — I didn’t have to spend time searching around, everything was arranged for me. That way, I could fully relax and enjoy my stay while reading or doing sudokus. Great vibe, amazing location, and overall just a wonderful place to stay. I’d definitely come back. Even though the kitchen offers everything you need, some things (cutting board etc.) seem a bit old and could be in a better shape. Nevertheless, I enjoyed cooking here and wouldn't consider this as downside at all.

• Lucy (10/5): Go, it’s the best hostel - LOVED this hostel. As soon as I walked in I knew I’d love it. They’ve designed the layout of it perfectly, the bar area, kitchen area and social areas are all open making it really easy to meet people. Friendly staff and beautiful location The only thing they could do to make this place better is look at more clothes drying areas. It was very humid and rainy when I was there meaning I left with very wet clothes but it wasn’t the end of the world. More of a suggestion than criticism. Really loved it here
• Juan Boveda (10/5): Una isla en el continente - Es un. hostel clásico con algunas habitaciones privadas. El entorno es excepcional, pura selva y playa del Pacífico. El personal (los dos Santiagos y la dueña, Daniela) de lo mejor. Cocina compartida, lo cual da lugar a mucha comunicación con los otros huéspedes, la mayoría mucho más jóvenes que nosotros. Tours espectaculares en barca a las playas aledañas y a la selva y sus cursos de agua dulce a buen precio. Pienso que las habitaciones privadas podrían estar mejor pensadas en algunos pequeños detalles nada costosos, como por ejemplo luces de lectura o simplemente vasos en la habitación.

• Manon (10/5): - Après 3 mois passés en Colombie, The Pelican House Hostel reste un de mes meilleurs souvenirs, autant pour le lieu - situé entre la jungle et l'océan - que pour les personnes qui y travaillent et les autres voyageurs rencontrés. On s'y sent comme avec sa bande de copains proches. Adrian et Juan, les réceptionnistes, sont le parfait duo pour toujours vous faire rire (sauf quand ils vous forcent à prononcer "Borojo"), et Daniela, la propriétaire, est adorable, hilarante et fabuleuse danseuse. Le paysage est magnifique, vous pouvez vous réveiller le matin avec un café à la main, regarder la mer, vous y baigner puis retourner commencer la journée à l'auberge. (++ pour le café disponible à n'importe quelle heure). Rien, tout était super !

• Roser (10/5): Lloc idíl·lic per quedar-te al Valle - L’allotjament et brinda està en un lloc idil•lic, les zones comuns eran grans i força còmodes i sobretot l’ambient que hi havia al hostel era increïble!! Millor lloc impossible per quedar-se al Valle.

La ubicación: la playa del Almejal es de las más bonitas y extensas que hay! El alojamiento es muy respetuoso con el medio ambiente. La sensación de dormir en la selva pero frente al mar fue increíble. Nada. Todo perfecto. Por decir algo, se podría hacer un puentecito para una de las entradas al hostel, ya que cuando llueve mucho o sube la marea hay que mojarse para cruzar esa parte de camino. Pero vaya, es agua del mar y no hay problema. Es la naturaleza pura.

Puedes pedir desayuno para el día siguiente y es riquísimo! También organizan varias actividades. Y los anfitriones, los mejores y más buena onda que te puedas imaginar! Hacen que todo sea aún mejor. • Pamela (8/5): - Die Lage ist top an einem wunderschönen Strand, ca. 10-12 Minuten zu Fuß von Bahia Solano entfernt, wo man alles bekommt, was man für Selbstversorgung braucht. Der Ort ist vor allem bei Surfern beliebt. Unser Bungalow war gemütlich und sauber. Die Naturgeräusche wirken beruhigend. Der Gemeinschaftsraum mit Küche lädt zum Relaxen und Plaudern mit anderen Gästen ein. Dadurch kommen interessante Begegnungen zustande. Die Gastgeberin und das Personal sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft bietet die Organisation von Touren, zb whale watching, night jungle tour, etc. an. Eine Empfehlung für die Westküste generell: ausreichend Elektrolyt Pulver mitnehmen! Es ist schwül.
