Notre chambre, très mal insonorisée, était côté rue et de ce fait extrêmement bruyante. Impossible de s'endormir le soir et tous les matins nous étions réveillés à 5h à cause du bruit. Il manque une bouilloire dans l'espace commun.

• Patrick (6/5): - Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Allerdings wird nur spanisch gesprochen. Eine Übersetzungsapp ist also von Vorteil. Kartenzahlung ist möglich und die Lage ist sehr zentral. Das Zimmer ist schlecht zu lüften, da es nur ein sehr kleines Fenster hat. Die Sauberkeit war nicht optimal, es waren Haare im Waschbecken und Bettlaken. Das WLAN hat nicht funktioniert und warmes Wasser kam nur manchmal in der Dusche.

Budynek raczej ze słabej jakości materiałów więc słychać wszystko przez ściany, słuchawka prysznicowa jest już cała zakamieniona, niektóre elementy w pokoju najlepsze lata mają już dawno za sobą i wymagają wymiany.

Las personas que nos recibieron fueron muy cordiales y atentas Por su ubicación permite llegar caminado al Museo del oro, museo de la moneda, Parque Bolívar, tiendas de artesanias y demás espacios emblemáticos de Bogota.

O chuveiro demora esquentar, as tomadas do quarto não aceitam adaptador universal. Tivemos que comprar outro adaptador direto. Não foi realizado nenhuma limpeza no período de estadia.

• Valentina (10/5): - Il rapporto qualità prezzo è imbattibile, la struttura è in pieno centro. Camere semplici ma pulite, staff super disponibile. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli pre check-in e post check-out. Nella zona inoltre ci sono molti bar e ristoranti in cui poter mangiare o bere qualcosa.

• Ken (4/5): Ghost of Christmas Past.. - The guy who ran the place was very kind and helpful. He provided advice and was very accommodating. The room & beds were clean and tidy, plus there was plenty of hot water. At 2:30am the TV from the next room over was turned on, waking my family & I up in the middle of the night. I initially thought it was another guest coming back from drinking who had decided to crank the volume up as high as it would go. After an hour of this ear-blasting abuse I had enough, and decided to go over and ask them to turn down the TV so my family could sleep. I knocked on the door 3 times with no answer. I then saw the key still in the door. Was the guest so drunk they forgot to take the key out after unlocking the door? At this point I was so angry from lack of sleep I pushed open the door. There was no one there. The beds were neatly made up. And while the TV was on full blast, you couldn't see the picture clearly at all. I grabbed the remote off one of the beds and attempted to turn it off, but nothing happened. After 5 minutes of trying unsuccessfully to shut it off, I yanked the power cord out of the wall which did the trick. Here's the best part; we were the only guests staying in the entire hostel! I don't believe in ghosts, but this place is straight up haunted. Stay away if you value your sleep and sanity.

• Filopoulou (8/5): Very good - Very good location, in the heart of the historical center. Quiet neighborhood. If your looking for something cheap for a few nights it ideal, provides basic needs. The room and bathroom was a bit to small.. The outdoor space could have been a little more organized.. Maybe a table and a couple of chairs so you can sit and have a coffee, snack or just hang out.

• Lina (2/5): It has been deteriorating, it wasn’t like that before 🥲. - The location The facilities were bad, the staff was a little bit rude and, even when I had stayed before, I think that the attendants have been deteriorating attention and the property has been neglected. The beds were dirty, the pillows and the clothes seemed unwashed. The smell was unpleasant, especially the shared kitchen was very dirty and without enough equipment to cook. Honestly, it wasn't like that before.

They owe me mil pesos, i know it's not much, but money is money. The staff wasn't friendly at all. Barely talk to us. The roof of the room over the bed was too low a tall person wouldn't fit.

• Teri.tez (7/5): Great location ,simple rooms - Hostal Dona Eliza has great location if you are looking to explore town. Rooms are simple, it looks nicer in the photos. But it has good shower with hot water. Owners are friendly.
• Chrichrifi (1/5): No recommendation - - Nice location in La Candelaria - Beautiful entrance area - Hot water in the shower - After checking in there was no staff available at all - Room No. 4 was cold, humid, moldy and water was dripping from the ceiling during rain - There was a lot of mold in the bathroom - The common kitchen was okay, but the fridge wasn't clean and smelled - the bedsheets weren't clean, the blanket was a makeshift of several old (partly damaged) blankets There was only a small window which could be slid open, but the glass edges were very sharp - the only light switch is at the door, so we had to find a way around the wet floor (and a bucket we put under the dripping) to the bed in the dark - I informed the Hostel about the dripping ceiling - no response. We requested a checkout after one night (instead of two) due to the dripping in the room and the mold - no response - after I contacted the booking customer service the Hostel claimed they had compensated me in cash already, which is simply a lie. We even had to give the room key to the janitor, as no staff was at the hostel at any time - After the one night in the room all our belongings were damp and smelly
• Andrei (8/5): Very good - Nice place close to almost everything in Candelaria. The street is quiet at night, very comfortable for one person - but due to door and walls not being soundproof I would pick some other place to stay with my wife. But me personally didn't feel bothered by the sounds from other rooms. The hot water pressure is great and this is notable since it is not common for small hotels in Bogota I woulnd't mind to have a carpet on the floor as well. There was only the small one in the bathroom. Sometimes it is really cold in Bogota, you know)

Reception is not 24hrs, have to check-in within certain hours or you have to pay extra. Luckily we were within the required hours but something to keep in mind!

There was no specific reason given. Additionally, when we came back to pick up our bags we were also not allowed to use the public toilet because we were not a guest anymore..? Staff was not very helpful or friendly and unfortunately could not speak English very well.

• V (4/5): Disappointed - Location. Good shower. Met other good guests. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff. TV didn't work. We had to get it sorted ourselves. Kitchen badly equipped. Broken cupboards. One little frying pan. No pans. No knives. Freezer door broken. Bedroom, we had to wash the floor. They stored our luggage for an hour or so; when we came to collect, they would not let us use the toilet.

• Jane (3/5): Hostile atmosphere couldn't wait to leave to somewhere welcoming - Location Unfriendly caustic selfish staff who make noise outside your room as though it's perfectly OK. No curtains in the windows so you get woken super early and every time someone passes your room after dark, the light in the corridor comes on and lights up the room. Bathroom very small and absolutely nowhere to hang a towel or put anything Clearly a place where no one cares if you have a decent place to rest. The way the ignorant staff speak to you.

• Juliette (3/5): Poor - Not sure why you'd work in hospitality if you're this rude to your customers. Their welcome email says you can leave your bags before check-in time but they made me feel awkward for doing so. I got reminded several times of check-out time, as if they were worried I'd overstay. The bed linen is cheap and rather uncomfortable, and i found hair on the bed. The towel was worn out and thin, but I was accused of stealing it on my way out. Overall an uncomfortable experience.

Maybe the closeness to the kitchen was sometimes bothersome but nothing particularly annoying. The staff was very nice and kind. I definitely recommend this place. Maybe a little bedside table lamp would be nice to add.

• Ruaidhri (7/5): Pleasant and relatively peaceful - I would come back. - The room was well furnished, clean and all in good working order. It was a relatively quiet and peaceful stay. The location in La Candelaria is good and it is easy to walk to local restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions. The staff were pleasant for the most part. I arrived without being able to pick up cash beforehand. When I was told that I could not check-in without cash I understood as that is policy but the staff were not particularly useful at that point. I said that I would go to find a cash machine which they were fine with but gave me no help in finding one, even when I asked. I subsequently spent over 30 minutes searching for an open cash point late at night in La Candelaria.
