Polina (10/5): Exceptional - My stay was excellent. The kitchen was well-equipped, the room was clean and the receptionist Roman was very helpful, recommending plenty of great activities in the area. The hostel also has a lovely common area with hammocks and tables. You can use the washing machine for free :) There is not enough storage area in the room, but it was fine.
Iva (10/5): Perfect stay - The hostel is very central in Paquera. It has all the facilities needed for a short stay and it was very clean. The best thing was the service!! Roman is amazing, extremely kind and helpful!! He helped me booking a taxi from Paquera Port to the hotel! I arrived late and he waited kindly and checked that I was fine during my travel. I felt very well taken care of! I would definitely recommend this hostel and Roman to everyone! There was a dog, crying all night, which wasn’t the best.
Stefan (10/5): Exceptional - A very nice place with a fantastic dog, a hammock, a well-equipped kitchen. We felt very comfortable at this place. The room is quite small, with no place to really put our things on.
Tanya (9/5): Superb - Super friendly place with super clean rooms just a short walk away from the bus stop. I had a really good night's sleep, was able to work well with the stable internet, and was pleased I had taken the time to step off the ferry-route and relax for the evening in a private room the price of a dorm. I only stayed a short night but will definitely book here next time I use the Puntarenas to Montezuma route. Very happy with everything
Valentin (10/5): 2 Nights - As I was traveling in low season I was the only person in the hostel. Nevertheless Marvin was always there for me if I needed anything and he even gave me a loft to the ferry. He wrote back immediatly and was very helpful with organizing trips and tours. I didn‘t use the kitchen but from what I saw it had everything you need and was clean.
Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - I was very tired when I arrived and since the hostel wasn't very busy they upgraded my room for my best comfort. I didn't even ask them, but they were so kind to offer me a bigger, quieter room at no extra costs. The next day my onward travel turned out to be more complicated than expected using public transport, but the owner was so nice to take me to a better bus stop in another town. Very helpful indeed. Paul (8/5): Welcoming hosts, clean, comfortable - Very clean. Our room was small but adequate. The shared spaces were inviting. The kitchen could use some more utensils but was otherwise fine. There were two grocery stores and smaller markets within walking distance. The ceiling fan in our room was a lifesaver. They were also very helpful booking us on an all day sea kayaking trip with a local company that ended up being a better option than we were able to find. We had the place to ourselves, but if more guests, just having on bathroom/shower could be problematic. The shower was tricky but we managed.

Sara (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely nice, I really enjoyed it. I paid for a place in the dorm, but since I was basically the only guest they put me in a private room for the same price. I cannot speak of the dorm, but room was really beautiful and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean, absolutely best toilet paper I had the pleasure to use in my travels lol +100 points. Woman working there was not only super helpful and patient but also very kind. Nothing bad to say.
