• Tracey (8/5): Perfect for a North Vancouver stay. - Clean, comfortable, quiet and close to beautiful hikes, but also close to shops, bars, restaurants and the Lonsdale Quay. The apartment had everything we needed, and was nicely decorated with lovely pictures. Sat on the balcony in the morning and saw lots of hummingbirds. Fantastic location and fabulous owners. Nothing

• TEJONES (5/5): - Having a place stay because our host hotel for the conference was sold out. I was able to call the host for some issues. The kitchen was very dirty. There were bread crumbs. There was no face clothes which is a necessity. Host said that it is not provided. The instructions for the shower in the bathroom with bath tub should be beside it and should beclearly written inside the bathroom. The walkway is a bit dangerous due renovation of the building

• Wright (9/5): - It was peaceful quiet very clean and tidy with kind people who made my holiday enjoyable. For me it had everything I was looking for.
• Ged (9/5): Excellent - Comfortable, clean, well appointed, quality furnishings and equipment, excellent location, quiet, two good bathrooms, lovely garden, excellent communication and instructions. Not that we did not like, just commenting: Parking was tight but workable Lighting down alley entrance to suite 2 only activated half way down. Not a big issue but could be improved.
• Nathan (7/5): Potentially a great apartment but let down by a few flaws..... - Excellent location in North Vancouver. The property is spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is also spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and in good repair. Check in was very easy. It is priced competitively. There were a few niggles which detracted from our stay. Both bedrooms had a large set of chest of draws, however both chests were full of sheets and curtains and so were unusable. There is one walk-in wardrobe in one of the bedrooms but it was full of clutter - (it had a large rolled up mattress and two pieces of old furniture stored in there). There is no wardrobe in the second bedroom, so we ended up living out of our suitcases. On two nights the upstairs apartment (where the owners live) was noisy late at night. The apartment is advertised as having a laundry but we discovered there is no washer or dryer in the apartment - there is a laundry room (outside the apartment and down a set of stairs in the owners part of the house) but you are only permitted to use it if booked in advance and only on one occasion during your stay. There was no cooking oil in the kitchen (so we had to make a return trip to the supermarket on discovering this!). Overall I'd give it a rating of between a 6/10 and 7/10 (as it is a nice apartment, very clean and reasonably priced) but the niggles make it hard to award a higher score.
• Ingeborg (9/5): Schöne Wohnung für Familie / Gruppe, ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem Downtown gut erreichbar - Eine schöne, komfortable Wohnung (wie abgebildet) zum gepflegten Garten gelegen, im 1. Stock, mit 2 Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmer in einer ruhigen Wohngegend (keine Restaurants / Geschäfte in unmiettelbarer Nähe, ca. 5-10 min mit dem Auto). Etwas Kaffee und Tee, Gewürze etc. sowie Reinigungsmittel und übliche Körperpflegeartikel waren vorhanden. Kontaktloser Check-in war problemlos, gute, freundliche Kommunikation. Schöne kleine Terasse/Balkon mit Grillmöglichkeit vor der Eingangstür. Ein Straßenabschnitt am Haus ist etwas steil, aber wenn man von unten in die Einfahrt fährt, ist das Parken auf dem Grundstück problemlos möglich. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (verschiedenen Buslinien und Wasserbus, Tarifzone 2) hat man eine gute Anbindung nach Vancouver Downtown, Tagesticket ca. 12 CAD. Wir haben uns hier wöhlgefühl, es war für uns genau das Richtige und wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder nehmen. Vielen Dank.

• Stephen (9/5): Great place that needs to deliver the space that they advertise. That said, if I could have the second room unlocked, I’ - Very clean. Good internet. Very nice owner! Advertised as a “Beautiful Two Bedroom Suite” but one bedroom was locked. I was staying alone but I do travel with a mobile recording kit for work and planned to record while I was there and use the 2nd bedroom as my “studio”. I couldn’t and had to try to setup around my luggage. Not optimal for recording.

• Cathleen (9/5): Beautiful home near everything on the North Shore - This is a beautiful apartment in a home in an excellent location. It is very close to Lonsdale, a vibrant area, and quick access to anywhere on the North Shore. The Second Narrows Bridge is also very close if you want to head into Vancouver or out to the valley. The space is well equipped with everything you might need including laundry. There is also a very nice deck with a well kept and quiet garden in a private backyard. The host gave good directions and was very responsive. Getting in and out of the driveway was a bit tricky even in a small car. There is; however, street parking for larger vehicle if needed.

• Adrian (10/5): A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. - Very well equipped apartment with a beautiful garden and varying wildlife. Location is great for access to the major routes to nearby 'must visit' attractions. There are plenty of shops and restaurants very close to the apartment. Close to the Seabus terminal, which is a fun way to get into Vancouver. We loved staying here!!

• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious, clean and well-equipped unit. The highlight was the deck overlooking the back garden. Outside temperature was 30C+ and there is no a/c...however, the trees and fans kept the place very comfortable. Arif (the host) was terrific. I'll be happy to return.

• Chuck (5/5): Adequate but disappointing especially regards to safety and finish. - We liked that there were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are quite large. Lack of smoke detectors. Poor lighting at night. Used soap bars. Poor finishing on the renovations. Bathtub and shower base are very slippery. Water in the shower/tub is very difficult to regulate, it’s either too cold or extremely hot. Parking is very tight and no street parking. There are a few modern upgrades, but I’d hardly call it a beautiful modern suite.

Sheets are excellent good condition kitchen are very nice equipped. Couldn't fine anything wrong with the whole assemble. Thank you for Arif and Sofia make us feel home !

• Jjbean (8/5): Great easy rental - Very nice place, very clean. Comfy beds, heated floor in bedrooms were nice the baseboard heaters were noisy, noise from downstairs and lights outside bedroom. there were NO extra blankets which would have been nice while watching tv as it was a bit chilly.

• Karina (8/5): Over all good, but minor adjustments are needed. - Lots of space and a balcony. The small bathroom: no grout around the tile near the bedroom. Ventilation shaft cover, did not really cover. The towel hanger was loose and place way too low. The artwork in the bedroom fell down, but my husband was quick and caught it in midair. It was hung on a flimsy nail, lucky it did not fall on his foot as we are going hiking. Two nights in a row we smelled smoke, while sitting on the balcony. We are not smokers, so that was not nice. Also the description should mention that the house is on a steep hill and there are a few stairs.
• Catherine (10/5): An oasis on the North Shore - We loved sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening, enjoying the encircling trees, lights, and fountains. Arif is a great host, helpful and attentive. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The freezer's ice maker was also a hit. The location is wonderful, 4 short blocks to Lonsdale Avenue with its diverse restaurants and a short bus or drive from Lonsdale Quay and the Sea Bus.

The walkway around the side of the house to the front door is slippery when it’s raining. The apartment upstairs can be a little noisy.
• Harrie (8/5): Comfortable suite to explore Vancouver and surrounding areas. - Well equiped kitchen, showers/bath, bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Stable and strong wifi connection. Nice private porch with comfortable seats. Supermarket close-by (walking distance). Easy access to Downtown Vancouver via seabus. Many hiking possibilities at short drive distance. Actually it is quite nice. The seats in livingroom are for us long Dutch people too low, advice to raise a bit.

• Jack (8/5): Great spot in a good location but beware the hill if on foot! - This is a roomy suite with one or two bedrooms available. The full kitchen is well equipped. Outside a deck provides a nice spot to relax on a summer afternoon/evening. Arif is a genuinely nice host. The public transport to/from Vancouver city and suburbs is quite brilliant! A daily ticket for less than CAD9 (concession) which allows the traveller to use bus, train, skyrail and cross harbour ferry is wonderful. However, pls see the negative attached to this. I don't recall seeing anything about the fact that the property is halfway up a VERY steep hill. Not a big drama for a car or taxi arrival, but for those then walking and using public transport as we did, the last bit of the walk home is very hard for us seniors.

Location in North Vancouver was excellent.. Close to Capilano, Grouse, Lynn Canyon, shopping, restaurants. Owners were very responsive and accommodating.

• Irina (10/5): Spacious Comfortable Suite in the Heart of North Vancouver - Great location, walking distance to the stores! Owners were extremely helpful - all our questions and/or requests were addresses in a matter of minutes! Property has full kitchen, comfortable beds, washer/dryer and BBQ area outside - we loved our stay there!
• Rama (6/5): Pleasant - I booked for 2 adults , but mistakenly forgot to enter 2 kids that came along.. Ad was misleading, shows 2 beds when booking. when we arrived, one bedroom was locked and kids slept on a couch. Host wanted $100 extra to unlock second bedroom. it’s a bit of a money grab when we already paid full price for the unit. I tried rebooking for a later date to see if there is a different charge for kids but it’s not. Why post the unit with 2 beds and lock one bedroom? Very Misleading and very uncomfortable for kids who had a tournament to compete next morning and didn’t sleep well.
