- Leslie (10/5): - Spacious room with large sitting area. Charming decor. Although bathroom was shared, I never had to wait. A little more description of where the entrance is. Maybe a picture would help. But a neighbor saw us looking around and helped us find the right door :). I would love a better coffee option. (I realize I am a snob about coffee--instant is not acceptable to me) A little nespresso machine with pods available would have brought me great joy.

- Marco (9/5): Clean and simple. Good value for money. I’d stay here again - You can show up at any time, I came past 1am on the first day and still got my keys. The rooms are spacious and clean. Some reviews say it’s dusty - I disagree. It felt clean and hygienic, and I’m picky on these things. Nothing. Obviously just be aware you’re sharing 2 bathrooms as a floor but both have showers and the facilities are good. There’s even coffee, tea and water for free in the shared hallway of the rooms which is nice.
- Dario (8/5): Very pleasant stay, prefect location, good pricing - Room design, location, price quality Before booking it was not very clear that you're sharing 2 bathrooms with different people, but the bathrooms were very nice. The smaller one had an issue do with the water flow from the shower, the drainage was not so good, so the water fell on the floor and there were no extras towels or like a drainage to sweep the water in

- magnus (9/5): Zentral, sauber, originell. - Zentral, sauber, originell.
- Pil (4/5): Hadley's does not deserve to be called "Bed and Breakfast"; It is more a fancy dormitory. - Quiet and pleasing neighborhood. You can hear birds singing and no traffic noise. The place is nice and feels safe. Hadley's Bed and Breakfast is more a fancy dormitory than a B & B. It does not deserve to be called a "Bed and Breakfast" because the shared facilities are simply too bad and neglected.
The option to make a cup of tea that was advertised is not practically available, because there is only a small number of cups available to share between all the guests in the house. So it is a "first come, first served" logic (and we came late - so no clean cups for us).
Furthermore the cleaning of the shared facilities is obviously not on daily basis.
It is unclear how often the cups and the tea pots are washed and renewed, but we stayed for two nights and on each morning, there were no cups available for us. We found tea pots with week-old tea leaves inside full of disgusting mould.
We got the impression that the cleaning was on Sundays after 8 in the morning, which was unlucky for us since we were leaving by that time.
The comfort of the place could be easily be upgraded if every room had their own cups, electric kettle and a mini refrigerator.
- Susanna (3/5): Poor - It is not a bed and breakfast just an apartment
- Fearghal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (8/5): Unique, comfortable place, good value. - Loved the old building and artsy furnishings. Very quiet, comfortable and centrally located. Good price value. I had trouble opening the lock box when I arrived. Luckily I got a very helpful and quick reply when I contacted the host. Would have been difficult if I didn’t have cell service. Also the toilet in my room had a strange smell.
- Bedrich (9/5): Superb - Nice room, perfect location, clean room, thank you
- Kristin (7/5): Good -
- Martin (9/5): Cool and out of the ordinary. - Spacious room. Personal touch. Misleading name (no breakfast)
- Carina (7/5): Nice room, but not convinced about the shared airbnb situation - I like the area, very green and quiet and far away from the busy tourist spots, but still very central (the closest U Bahn stop is a 7 minute walk). The room is big with a couch and a desk and even an upstairs area ( which I didn't use as I stayed alone, so unnecessary for me (had 2 more small beds). Beds are comfy and it is very quiet at night (very important for me). As a solo female traveller, I have to say it is a bit sketchy. There is no reception, you get the keys to the apartment outside a residential building from a box (I arrived at 4 pm). Then you enter an apartment with separate rooms but shared bathrooms. Not knowing whom you might encounter feels a bit weird, especially as there is no reception and it is basically in a residential building, they can't really take care of who gets access. Also, a lot of things were broken in my room (2 lamps didn't work), the tea cooker didn't work properly (you had to hold the on button manually the whole time), the shower head is not fixed to the wall in any of the two bathrooms, so the shower is very uncomfortable (can't properly wash your hair, while holding the shower head in one hand). It was okey for one night and luckily I meet the lady staying in the room next to me, so I felt a bit safer. I prefer a hostel with 24h reception and a common area, this rather feels like a shared AirBnB with complete strangers.
- Toni (7/5): Good - Location was great, quiet neighborhood Toilet and bedroom without plugs
- Murris (8/5): No B&B vibes, but a fair price! - Great price; considering the location, facilities and space! Bed & Breakfast is a bit of a misnomer: breakfast is not actually included (or in the same building even) and there was no personnel/reception etc.
- Elvia (8/5): Great for a weekend in Hamburg. - Super clean and just as in the pictures.
- Lara (8/5): Comfortable stay in nice location - Authentic building in quiet but well connected location. You wake up with the sound of the birds but reach the cute center of schlump with a short walk. It was a bit unfortunate that you couldn’t hang the shower head.
- Emma (10/5): It was perfect ! -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michal (7/5): Good -
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional - The room was beautiful, very high ceiling and artistically decorated Would have been great to have a showerhead holder
- Kemal (9/5): Much better than expected 👌 - High ceiling room with big window. Very aesthetic and vintage decoration. Common wc were nice. Unusual check-in and check out
- Olga (8/5): Value for money stay in style - Quirky interior, comfy loft bed,
Good location, short ride away from the main station and Landungsbrücken
Complimentary tea with a nice selection Shower holder was slightly broken and the taps looked worn out
- Robin (9/5): A good value funky comfortable retreat. - It was a great and relaxing base from which to explore the city centre. I stayed about a week. Also, loved the coconut stew cooked in the restaurant, but only discovered it after a few days. Possibly the best Indian inspired(?) meat dish I've ever had. I was new to Germany and Hamburg. It could have helped to have some more written info about available services and things such as shops, transport, how to use the TV.
- Sibth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nellson (7/5): Good -
- Hagen (9/5): Superb -
- Agustina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laetitia (9/5): Superb - We loved the room with its quirky lay-out, the vibe of the old hospital and the location, close to the U3!
