Die Lage ist sehr schön, vor allem man kann zu Fuß auf die Wachenburg laufen und während der Mandelblüte, war diese auch noch beleuchtet. Toll. Auch das Schloß ist toll und dort gibt es viele Events. Unser Zimmer war groß und sehr ruhig. Es gibt nur einmal pro Woche, freitags warmes Nachtessen.

Markus (8/5): Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. - Sehr schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Das Frühstück war mit sehr guten, teils regionalen hochwertigen Produkten als Buffet vorhanden. Man konnte auch Rührei oder Spiegeleier frisch zubereiten lassen. Kühlschrank war im Zimmer vorhanden. Die Matratze war unbequem. Man hatte immer das Gefühl, man fällt gleich aus dem Bett. Beim Frühstück wurden die Produkte am Buffet oft nur schleppend nachgefüllt. Erst auf Nachfrage der Gäste. Da das, was es gegeben hat sehr gut schmeckte, haben die Gäste vermutlich mehr zugelangt und deshalb ging immer wieder was aus. Die am Tisch servierte Käse-/Wurstplatte war sehr dürftig belegt. Das haben wir so noch nie erlebt. Auch andere Gäste haben sich darüber aufgeregt.

Horst (8/5): Schöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Widrigkeiten. - Das Zimmer war sehr schön und groß. Es war kein Aufenthaltsraum vorhanden. Das Frühstück war ausbaufähig.
Gary (10/5): A really nice place to stay during our road trip through Germany. - Were do I start, an excellent place to stay with very welcoming staff and a brilliant room and bathroom. The lady who checked us in was really helpful and although the weather was a little damp we enjoyed some very nice wine with a charcuterie board outside sat under a huge Parasol. The breakfast options are really good and very well presented at the table. It was a shame we had stayed when the Restaurant was closed, however we had a very nice meal in the Greek Restaurant around the corner. We visited Bad Durkheim at night for the festival and fireworks, but what I had not appreciated was the the walking routes around the local countryside and the wildlife we had seen. There is nothing to write in this box.

Michael (9/5): Immer wieder gern. - Großzügiges Zimmer mit ebenerdigem Zugang und großem Bad. Ruhig und zentrumsnah gelegen. Klasse Bier/Weingarten mit nettem Service. Eigenen abschließbarer Fahrradschuppen. Tolles Frühstück in einem schicken Frühstücksraum. Da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.
Fred (8/5): Goede accommodatie voor een overnachting tijdens doorreis. - Deze accommodatie ligt in het centrum van het dorp en hoort bij een wijnhuis. Er kan gratis worden geparkeerd op de parkeerplaats achter de accommodatie. Uitstekend ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Er zijn een aantal restaurants in het dorp op loopafstand. De accommodatie was lastig te bereiken omdat het centrum was afgesloten voor alle verkeer vanwege een wijnfestival. Helaas had de accommodatie ons hierover niet tevoren geïnformeerd. Het loont dus de moeite om vooraf te checken of er festiviteiten zijn.

Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - This small quaint town is the perfect setting for this lovely stay. Beautiful entrance through an outdoor cafe that had a wine shop and snacks to enjoy under a canopy of greenery. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a small charcuterie board for each guest table and made to order eggs. Our favorite stay in Germany out of 4 others and we are already planning our return stay.

Mary (8/5): Great location and very friendly host! - Great location and spacious, clean room. I didn't spend a lot of time at the property as was travelling for work, but my experience at breakfast both mornings was great. It was also very helpful to be able to self-check in after hours as my flight was very delayed. I would definitely return if I was back in the area! Only minor, but it would have been nice to have better coffee making facilities in the room for first thing in the morning, or if I had been spending more time in the room.

David (10/5): Great place to stay. - The hotel is also a winery and they have tastings in their beautiful courtyard. The room was large and updated. If they offered guests a tour of their winery it would offer a great touch.
Tim (9/5): Very comfortable B&B in a quiet but charming village. - large room with all comforts in what would probably be a delightful Weinstub if it had not been closed for the holidays! But we were able to taste the wine because there was a good selection in our fridge (minibar - to be paid for) A good buffet breakfast was served. Nothing to dislike but a word of warning for foreigners. Many Weinguts are closed in August, just before the busy wine-making season, and restaurants get booked up so try to book dinner reservations in advance if you can.
