- INES (9/5): - The owner is really nice !

- Franziska (6/5): Great for animal lovers - The host was very friendly and helpful. She even speaks a bit of english. When the possum was in our room, we immediately got a new room. Our first night was enjoyable (no possum). There was cat poop in the shower (even after coming back for our second night two days later). That made the bathroom smell bad and the showers unhygienic. We also had a possum in our room coming through the roof and after changing rooms we had a toad in the shared bathroom.

- Luis Miguel (10/5): - Tout.
Vraiment rien a redire.

- Francesca (8/5): Very good - The owners are extremely kind, and it is well positioned to get easily to El Zaino entrance Structure itself is quite old, and there is no breakfast or food option (need to go on time to local mini shops)
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were so lovely and helpful. It was very peaceful and the facilities were good.
- Vincenzo (9/5): Great position for Tayrona and lovely host! - The host has been incredibly welcoming! Not only she accepted a late check in for us, she even offered to help us book a taxi from the airport and she found one for almost half of the price of what we had seen! We also used the laundry service and it was impeccable!
- Irene (9/5): Superb - The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Its just a 15min walk to the El Zaino entrance and the bus stopps right infront the door - so its a perfect stay before the Park. You can also leave your luggage in a locker there. Would 100% recommend..
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (8/5): Very good - The lady was so friendly and helpful. Even if we stayed for a night.. we felt safe.
- Charlie (8/5): Very good -
- Tommaso (8/5): Very good -
- Alix (10/5): I arrived from my hike completely sick, and the lady of the hostel took care of me with meds and home made soup…heartwar -
- Andrea (1/5): HORRIBLE STAY - I don’t usually write bad reviews, but this place was so bad I had to warn others.
The hostel is pretty rundown and not taken care of at all. The artwork on the walls was honestly creepy, and the bathroom was disgusting. They didn’t even refill the toilet paper during our 2-night stay, and we found rat poop in the shower (see photo).
On top of that, the manager was a real karen. She complained because we were cooking breakfast and lunch, even though there’s a kitchen provided for guests. Like, what’s the point of having a kitchen if you can’t use it? And every 10 minutes she was checking what you were doing, treating you like a little baby.
The kitchen it’s not well equipped at all ! All pots with no handle and all very very old!
Definitely wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
- Alysse (9/5): Superb - Had an amazing stay at La Perla. My friend and I stayed there for three nights and the location was beautiful. Clemencia was a great, helpful and welcoming host despite the language barrier. Definitely would recommend! It’s in front of a relatively busy highway, so it can get pretty loud/noisy for some. It personally did not bother me, but I feel it’s an information worth sharing.
- Laurie (9/5): Nice hostel - It is a nice hostel, I loved the little pool to cool down, there is an amazing view from there.
Facilities were good, the kitchen is big.
Walking distance to shops, restaurant and Tayrona park entrance.
I stayed in the dorm 2 times and liked it. The only downside for me is that it is next to the busy road, with a lot of noise in the daytime.
At night it was much quieter.
- Kirsty (6/5): Pleasant -
- Luciana (8/5): Very good -
- Manon (10/5): Exceptional - The receptionist is super nice, the hostel is clean, and the breakfast was the best I ever had
- Naomi-rose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (7/5): Good location. Ok price. Pool not available. - Good location. Shower/bathroom layout offers no privacy. Room was full of ants. Pool had no water, was unclean and out of use.
- Léa (7/5): Good -
- Einat (8/5): Very good - the hostel was nicely decorated and the staff was really nice, the small pool on the roof was nice too. it is really on the main road so you hear the cars and trucks constintly. right now they have no food options at all
- Manex (8/5): Very good -
- Vivian (8/5): Very good -
- Marco (1/5): Bad -
- Wilson (8/5): Very good -
- Abhay (10/5): The property is walking distance from the entrance of park. Owner is very cooperative and it is reasonably priced - The owner was very cooperative he also upgraded our room Nothing
- De (7/5): Good location, request private rooms and not cabin rooms up at the top. - Close to the park. Staff was nice. Cleanliness was subpar. Found poop in the rooms, lights were not working in shared bathrooms & had a huge roach crawl down my leg while having to take a shower in the dark using my phone light.
- Philipp (7/5): Classic & decent hostel close to Tayrona entrance - - Great place to stay overnight before heading to the eastern Tayrona entrance the next morning (its a few minute walk)
- Staff helpful and nice (I could leave my luggage there while spending 1 night in the Tayrona Park)
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - Room was acceptable. Road noise is very loud. Overall seems a bit worse for wear. Kitchen Was not well kept.
- Pulsh (9/5): Superb - Close to the El Zaino entry, nice staff.
- Urszula (10/5): Great place - The hotel from outside is great but from inside just marvelous.
- Hayley (10/5): My stay was so relaxing, great way to chill out after doing the Tayrona hike. Great staff. - The hammocks in outside the rooms are amazing to just relax in, as well as the staff made you feel very welcome :)
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Tharaka (10/5): Exceptional - We had a nice stay here, easy walk to Tayrona Park Entrance and they had everything we needed including bag storage while we camped in Tayrona. The highlight of our stay was Caro’s cooking! We ate in the restaurant and had a really really delicious Moroccan Tagine for only 30 mil. We wished we could have stayed longer to taste more of her dishes!
- Emma (7/5): Good -
- Rene (10/5): Great character, friendly staff and outstanding chef! - Accommodations were as advertised. However, the establishment was prettier in person.
The staff was welcoming, helpful, and very gracious. Especially Vivian & Ferne
The food was outstanding! Gracias Chef. A little noisy the surroundings, the street, u hear all traffic. My recommendation, keep the water fountain on in the pool, keeps noise down from street.
- Samuel (10/5): Perfect for what we needed - We stayed here after El Rio Hostel to decompress. It was great for that! We also visited Tayrona national park which was just a 15 minute walk away & were able to store our luggage FOC Ants in the room
- Ilvan (8/5): Very good - Really comfortable if you need a place near Tayrona park. Staff was very kind. They could work a bit more on keeping the place cleaner.
- Gregori (7/5): Good - Inexpensive hotel with a good location to stay near the Tayrona national park main entrance. We stayed a night in the park and could leave our baggage at the hotel. - The bathroom (and toilet) was in the same room only divided by a curtain.
- The dinner in the hotel took a big effort to get to our table.
- Andrina (9/5): Superb - Good location about 15min walk from the park entrance. They offer great breakfast and dinner and everything felt very comfortable.
- Latil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (2/5): Left the hotel 1 night earlier as we couldn’t stand it anymore - - 10min walk to Tayrona park
- Helpful staff
- Food was good but service was slow
- Nice common areas - Rooms are dirty (hair blocking sink, huge cockroach in the room) and are not well maintained (towels and bed sheets are really old)
- Toilet is separated from the room just with a curtain so you can hear and smell everything your roommates does
- Bath tube is not soaking the water properly, so all water from the shower stays in the toilet area
- Water has no pressure and you need to get close to the wall to be able to take a shower
- There’s nothing in the surroundings, the hotel was really empty during our stay and the staff were not present in the bar. There was no hostel vibe in common areas and nothing do after it got dark, so it was pretty boring after 6pm
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Good value for money, walking distance from Tayrona entrance and there is the option to keep your bags in lockers there whilst you are in the park. The common areas, bathroom and bedroom were all clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind, special thanks to Ferney for helping with all our questions! Would recommend :)
- Joyce (7/5): Good -
- Ewelina (6/5): Pleasant - Hotel is really close to the Tayrona Park main entrance, 15-20mins walk also bus can stop there if you ask. Price was very nice and hotel was clean, we got towels, bed was good. Hotel kept our luggage for 2 days when we were sleeping in the park without any additional charge which was super nice. Staff was very nice, there is also small shop just next to the hotel. It was just for 1 night, so sufficient conditions. Hotel is just in front of the main street it was quite loud during the night with all cars going. Bathroom in the room does not give you any privacy as it is not closed (the wall is not to the ceiling and is almost transparent so you can basically hear everything and almost see what is inside), also hotel has a restaurant but it was not working on this day and they did not give us any info why, just that there is no personel and it’s closed, there is no other restaurant close bay :(
- Monica (8/5): Very good - Close to the park Our room didn't have a bathroom door, just a curtain. So one of us had to leave the room when we needed to do our business. It gets flooded inside.
- Jonathan (8/5): Perfect location and so so nice staff ! - The staff was so so friendly with us and they did help us a lot with our necessities. Besides, the hostal is very close to the Tayrona National park which makes it very very useful ! The rooms are very hot, there are a few things in the room that should be fixed like the water pressure, the tap water handle, and overall the outside ceiling for when it rains so that people don’t get wet when going upstairs. Also for safety reasons
- Finlay (10/5): Exceptional - Very cool building with lovely vibe and style along with very nice staff making you feel very welcome. Especially lots of thanks to fernan :)
- Dario (8/5): Great room 10 min away from tayrona. - Nice hostel 10 min from Tayrona. Great bed and good quality dinner. The cocktails were good too. Even though there's a fan, the room is very hot. They should add some mosquitoes net to the window. At night, it is quite dangerous to go out because the only road is the main one where the cars go quite fast. A few hooks would help to organize things.
- Smilingcecil (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect to visit Tayrona Park, that remains as 10 minutes walking. The people of the staff are very kind and they suddently told me about one locker in the hostel in which you can live your big baggages to do not carry them in the park. There are two pools in whicb you can find some fresh (as I did). Higly reccomanded!
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Emilie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- Noemi_lond (8/5): Perfect place close to the park - Very helpful and friendly staff.
Very close to Tayrona El Zaino entrance, 6 min walking, perfect for the night before or after being in the park.
You can leave your bag overnight for 5000 pesos.
Really nice unexpected swimming pool on the roof, nice views from there!
Great value for the price😊
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diyar (9/5): Central location, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly, especially the Venzuelan lady who works at t - The cleanliness, the location, the venzuelan lady who works at the hostel is so nice and lovely Nothing to complain
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - Pretty and clean
- Kai (7/5): Good - It was nice that they offered towels and it's only a 15min walk from the entrance of the tayrona nacional park, the breakfast was good and you could buy water in a little store In the shower the water came out of a tube in the wall and the staff wasn't very friendly and willing to help or to talk
- Celeste (7/5): Easy, affordable and comfortable place to stay when visiting the National park - The property is a short walk from the entrance to the National park Our room was quite small which made it hard to move around the bed and our bags. We wish there had been a kitchen for communal use but the restaurant is well priced.
- Saba (6/5): Pleasant - The mattess was comfortable There are a lot of stairs to navigate with luggage. Walls extremely thin and some noisy inconsiderate guests were staying at the time. Not really a social vibe, I've definitely stayed in better value places..rooms were also quite small
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Willem (6/5): Pleasant - The hostel is nicely decorated and the rooms okay for comfort and cleanness. Personal was really not friendly at all and always annoyed when you asked something. They helped you tho, after looking at you like you are not appreciated. Do not order food here, it takes for hours to be ready! Location is not bad at all, however it is about 20 min walk to the entrance of the park. safe neighbourhood I’d say. But again, the staff is not welcoming you at all. The staff, especially the reception staff! They are not friendly at all and make you fell like you are annoying them because you are around.
- Tiffany (5/5): Passable - not the best hostel but really nice ! I had some ants going on my bag during the time I was there so not the best but still fine
- Fabrice (8/5): Best breakfast, kind staff! defo recommand! - The staff is very kind and offered to serve breakfast even on the days we were not staying here. The breakfast with pancakes was one off the best breakfasts I had in 4 weeks, amazing! location wise it lays inbetween the two entrances of Tayrona and they offer really cheap luggage storage if your staying an extra night in Tayrona.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Sebastian (10/5): Excellent experience. 100% recommended - Location and stuff
- Jana (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful place to stay staff is very helpful good energy and you can leave your staff without a problem at the hostel.I also recommended to stay some days outside from the park the whole area is just beautiful
- Charlotte (8/5): Very good -
- Isobel (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mimoza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grace (8/5): Nice place, close to National park with friendly staff - staff were really nice and it’s an easy walk to the National park. WiFi was good upstairs and food was tasty. on a main road so it’s quite loud, bathroom doesn’t have a door so it’ll smell and it’s awkward if someone is with you. property is well maintained but pool didn’t look clean and there were areas half constructed or trash thrown
- Sam (2/5): Very poor - NO SHARED KITCHEN as is listed and pictured on this app. Low scores for big lies.
