Tina (7/5): Good - The property is nice with good spaces to relax and a plunge pool for the heat. Outside the complex is not so good …trash everywhere in this village and really windy which makes the heat bearable My room was tight with double bed plus bunk bed
Jimeno (9/5): Superb - I do like a lot this Cottage Hostal, 5 minutes walk to a nice, undeveloped and peaceful beach. Also close for a mud bath on top of a volcano and close to Barranquilla and Cartagena. Everything was ok.
Neeley (10/5): One night in Loma de Arena - Luz and her family were lovely hosts. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and AC was strong. Luz was very accommodating with me and arranged a Moto taxi for me with one of her nephews. Highly recommend Cesar as well for your trek to the Pink Sea (that's not pink at the moment). He also took me to the Volcán and back. The town is just a place to stop for a night to explore these tourist stops. I do recommend the roasted chicken just next to the Marsol stop!

Mauro (8/5): Nice place, not as nice location - The place was very clean, the lady who takes care of the property and kitchen was very nice, her food was excellent. The price for both room and food was worth. Volcano Totumo is 5 minutes from location with transportation. The establishment sits in a very poor street/town. We have been suggested not to leave the property alone (by the lady who takes care of the rooms, who kindly warnedus) because as foreign persons there were high chances to be robbed. The sea is close by, but we couldn't go due to the above remark. The owner wanted to charge 400000 pesos instead of 280000. When we showed the booking.com reservation he didn't push for it, but that information should have been clear without having us to show the receipt.
Carlos (10/5): A beautiful small hotel. If ever around the area please stay - The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Malka she cooked for us a la carte, we enjoyed some the most delicious meals in many miles. Thank you Malka, 😊
Rhys (8/5): The nicest stay in Lomo de Arena & close to Volcano. - The Cabaña is probably the nicest accomodation in the area. Safe and secure, quiet and welcoming. Clean and well kept. The owner had a dog and loads of puppies to play with at the time. Use of the kitchen and nice areas to chill and relax. The room was air-conditioned and the room plus bathroom were big and lots of space. There is a shop not too far if need anything and the Volcano isnt too far aswell about 5 / 7,000 COP moto. The area isn´t the nicest and there are bars down near the beach which you can hear the music in the accomodation. We had a problem with the care taker at the time asking to move the late night party away from the front of our room and had to contact the owner to stop it or move it. The pool was unusable and dirty.
