Además, los dueños son encantadores, nos ayudaron en todo. EL baño, la ducha y las camas eran muy buenas también. Además, tiene un aire acondicionado muy potente. En general, no tengo nada de lo que quejarme. Si tuviera que mejorar algo sería el fregadero de la cocina, se atasca fácil y hay poco sitio para fregar la vajilla.

• Anne (10/5): - If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is it. The estate is in a stunning location in absolute peace and calm with only the sounds of the fauna surrounding you. The pool area and the balcony of this apartment have a stunning view over the mangrove. The host was very kind and attentive and we loved the space and the vibe of the apartment. I don’t think we could have found a place in Quepos more suitable for our needs. The only downside was the furniture: the kitchen chairs were too low for the dining table so we preferred to sit on the sofa which was also a bit too low to sit comfortably. The bed, however, was huge and very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything imaginable.

It would have been nice to just have a continental breakfast and sit outside at the beautiful pool with a specacular view. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy.

• Bonnie (10/5): We will be back! - Jan and Ken’s home is an absolute paradise. You are surrounded by rainforest, with a view of the ocean, and beautiful sunsets! We have seen over 60 kinds of birds, including toucans, Scarlett macaws, fly catchers,eagles, etc monkeys come through the trees right beside the Casa. We have seen toads, frogs, lizards, and numerous insects. You do not have to leave this place, in order to see nature. They are well equipped for anything you would need. From beach accessories, flashlights, umbrellas, weights, and lanterns. The apartments are well equipped as well, with comfortable beds. A easy 10 minute walk downtown. Jan is the hostess, with the mostest. We will miss it Nothing

Très bel endroit, propre et bien situé, où la sécurité et la sérénité règnent. L'accueil chaleureux de notre hôtesse et ses précieux conseils ont rendu notre séjour unique. The host provided us with the information about beaches, things to do, she let us know about the birds that are in the property, also the place is very close to the national park. The kitchenette is a bit small but you can manage.

• Stephanie (9/5): Comfy place to relax - like staying with friends or a local - Like staying with family or friends or even with a local. Excellent infrastructure MUCH appreciated. Costa Rica is about the adventure and we really did not mind some of the typical CR nuances like not being able to flush toilet paper and the so-called “suicide shower” heads (don’t worry, we had many and they are fine) or spotty internet. However, we did certainly appreciate that Jan had provided such great reliable infrastructure! Great internet - fiber with backup option HOT shower with pressure - not the CR shower head Flush toilets compared to paper in basket Reliable power - solar backup Great a/c Quiet and private with expected “life noise” - parrots and other jungle sounds, motor bikes, dogs. Nothing that bothered us at all. Completely safe, gated, free parking Water drinkable - has been everywhere Coffee, sugar, oil, salt pepper, some spices Full refer, drip coffee, microwave, cooktop Toaster oven, tabletop baking oven, toaster Big bed - quite firm Books, games Room to spread out and be comfortable Two separate baths with showers - liquid hand soap provided along with some shampoo/conditioner Two small but sufficient TVs Lounging area Some reviews mention cleanliness. It is clean enough and where it counts. No bugs or other creatures inside or anything else that bothered me and I am a clean freak. It felt lived in or like staying a friend’s house or with a local family. We were at the end of traveling Costa Rica for a month and felt very comfortable relaxing and winding down here. Clean pool - bug spray, sunblock available Host onsite - very helpful, speaks English Not easily walkable to things but lots of taxis in Quepos. If you are there for a while I recommend renting a car for a few days. I am sure Jan could help you arrange that. Recommendations: Extreme M&R for rafting - Jason Luis Marjorie Chile bus tacos - cute little food court with massive and yummy burritos. No issues
• Carolyn (9/5): Fabulous stay in fantastic apartment near a really nice ‘proper’ local town. with great hosts - Everything was really great. The apartment, the pool, the view. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Easy walk to town and the harbour / waterfront where we enjoyed the local town vibe and watching pelicans diving. The local people were brilliant, happily pointing out wildlife in town for us ! We had never seen as many huge iguanas before and we didn’t need to go to a national park, just walk through town ! Very near to different attractions. But most all Jan and her husband Ken were fantastic. Really helpful and friendly. The three dogs were lovely, and they clearly enjoyed escaping through the gate when we opened it!! Nothing
• Christopher (9/5): Lovely place to stay - This is a lovely apartment, one of two rented out at the owner’s home. The other is let to a long term tenant who we never saw so it felt like we had the facilities to ourselves. Very spacious room with a huge bed plus sofa, table & chairs, kitchen area and bathroom. It’s located in an elevated position on the edge of town which provides for great views to the ocean from the terrace and pool. Jan and Ken are great hosts and Jan went out of her way to help us through a couple of issues we had over the time we were staying there. 15-20 minute walk to the town centre, slightly longer to the marina where there are great restaurants.
• Catherine (10/5): Beautiful property! Wonderful hosts! I'd come back again and again - This was the second time I visited Casa Puesta del Sol. I had such a great time the first time I came with my husband, that I decided to revist this time to show off Manuel Antonio on a girlfriends' vacation. Just like last time, the host was fabulous. So friendly and helpful. We only had two days in the area, so she gave us the scoop on where to go. The apartment was cozy and clean with a view over the mangrove. Beautiful sunsets! And an unobstructed view from the pool. A tropical paradise!! Anytime I come to this area, I plan on coming back to Casa Puesta del Sol. An amazing value for the price.
• Maggy (10/5): Fantastic stay. Jan was a wonderful host and extremely helpful. I’d highly recommend it to anyone - It’s in a perfect location to go both north and south on the West Coast of Costa Rica. It’s far enough away from the city (5 minutes) to be quiet and yet close enough to be minutes from most stores and the marina. Great pool. Fun Garden to explore. Birdwatching amenities.

• Adrienne (10/5): Warm and welcoming stay in Quepos - Jan's place was just lovely, and so was she! The flat was comfortable, characterful and private, with a lovely balcony. The shared pool is gorgeous, with a wonderful view. Jan is so generous and interesting, and we loved having a chat. The friendly dogs were fun to cuddle as well. Quepos is a great little place (much better than Manuel Antonio). Make sure you visit the Bon Bonete French patisserie, and the market on Friday and Saturday for great fruit, veg and crafts.
• Siralexis91 (9/5): Hidden gem with stunning views - A true gem, hidden in the hills of Quepos, this accommodation has stunning views of the jungle and ocean, especially the sunsets! You can enjoy them from the swimming pool too! Jan and Ken were amazing, responding very promptly and ensuring we have everything needed, even snorkel equipment and towels. You get a whole apartment, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms both with showers, lots of space, aircon, terrace with chairs to enjoy the colibries, parrots and stunning views. We loved the dogs too, Marco and Chichi! We loved everything but maybe if we have to say something, prepare to be surrounded by the wildness of the jungle, meaning that there will be toads, big lizards, spiders, etc, but honestly, that was part of the experience of Costa Rica too!

• Laurynas (10/5): Exceptional - Our family liked everything about this apartment. Spacious two large rooms and two bathrooms apartment with amazing view from the balcony! Kitchen is fully equipped, bed comfortable. Pool area and the view to forest and ocean is must to be mentioned as superb!!! Our daughter was enjoying private pool everyday. There's also beach equipment, that you can take with you to the beach. Location is absolutely perfect, not far from downtown but on the high hill, so you feel like in the middle of nature. Owner is very nice lady, she gave us advices about the beaches, restaurants and etc., also told us interesting things about living in Costa Rica. By the way birds, lizards, Iguanas ar the ones you'll meet around the house. O can recommend this place 100% to anyone staying in Quepos. Will be definitely stay in Puesta del Sol next time in Quepos!
• Julie (10/5): A peaceful mangrove and ocean view - The apartment was large, well equipped and clean. The pool was wonderful! We enjoyed the quiet views from the deck to watch birds and boats. Jan was very kind, helpful and quick to reply, even making sure we had water bottles for the national park. A bit awkward to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink. The property is a bit far from town but worth it for the view😀

The apartment is extremely comfortable and extremely well equipped : full kitchen very comfortable, living room that can also convert to two extra beds , two full bathrooms perfectly equipped, king-size bed very comfortable. The owner is the most wonderful and welcoming woman and she makes you feel at home from the moment you get ther e! one of the best places we have stayed at and we travel all over, ! We loved it! Parking was a little challenging
