- samuel (9/5): - Wonderfully close to the water. Easy walk to the diet the pools in the coral or to Cocles beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The drinking water is supplied. The cleaning staff would sit outside talking on the phones without earbuds. It was quite squawky, loud and kept going. When I ask them to turn the volume down though they did so and all was good.
- Philip (9/5): We would love to come back sometime! - Right by a very nice beach. Sloths and howler monkeys were around. We had what we needed for kitchen and linens. Very friendly and helpful owner. Not that far to walk to town for restaurants and other facilities.

- L. (9/5): The perfect home away from home - Hele fijne, vriendelijke mensen die een goede sfeer neerzetten en je je thuis laten voelen. De locatie is perfect met direct toegang tot het strand en net iets buiten het stadje met alles op loopafstand. De ruimte is compact maar je hebt alles om goed en comfortabel te kunnen verblijven. Dit was onze tweede keer hier en we komen zeker de volgende keer weer terug. Echt een aanrader! Niks

- Pri (8/5): La pasamos lindísimo - La ubicación es perfecta. Las mesitas afuera para trabajar y comer. El cifón con agua potable. La hamaca. Tiene todos los implementos de cocina necesarios. Estaba muy limpio al llegar. Silvana y Giorgio fueron excelentes hosts. Valoramos mucho la oportunidad de conocerlos y conversar. Sol, Luna, Luci y el gati bebé fueron un plus muy lindo. El ruido del apartamento de arriba se escuchaba. Y también la cama, sonaba al movernos.
- Carolina (9/5): Welcoming stay on the beach - The room is basic but clean and big. It has a nice kitchenette, and you can hear the waves nearby, 2 min walk. The lovely Italians owners are there to help you with whatever you need. There is an Italian restaurant next to the accommodation. The centre is 15 min walk along the beach It would be nice to have more shelves to place my own stuff.
- Vesna (10/5): It felt like home in paradise - We stayed for more than a week and booked the large room with a view of the sea - this was the perfect home-base for Puerto Viejo. Our room was very comfy and had a well-appointed kitchen. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony with the view of the beach, the sea, and the monkeys and sloths which occasionally passed through the trees. The location is great, with a few steps to the beach. One needs about 10 minutes on foot to the main area of Puerto Viejo. On the other side, the beatiful Cocles beach is not that far either. The hosts are lovely, offered many suggestions and contacts, and were very helpful. There is a restaurant attached to the property, which was great for lazy dinners, with delicious food. I realise I'm very complimentary, but we just really, really loved it here and just wish we could have stayed even longer.
- Linda (8/5): Relxing beach stay - It was right at the beach and the outside garden area and covered porch were amazing to just chill. The host is a true gem. Very kind and helpful. This definitely a simple accommodation and the hostel next door has music nights which can make it loud,but ear plugs help.
- Liis (3/5): Poor - Friendly staff, lovely location close to the beach, good wifi. Not recommended. Place is dump, rating 8,7 is totally misleading. Lot of noise - some rooms are just next to the restaurant/ bar, also hostel next door has live music events. Toilet was not working, rooms are dirty... even after cleaning. Rooms are shit - no light, disgusting smell in the bathroom, furniture is outdated. No blankets, some night were bit cold... Not recommended!!!!

- Doelatip (9/5): Superb - Great location! Walking distance to downtown Pto Viejo and Cocles beach. The backyard is literally the ocean, not great for swimming but nice for snorkeling and just enjoying the ocean views. The host is present, very friendly and helpful. I'm grateful to have found this place and stayed 3 nights, this made my stay in Pto Viejo complete! What I didn't like was the gravel in the yard where people walk or pass by. Throughout the day you can hear it in the room. The place is quite busy, but that might have been because it was a weekend with a family staying there, as it was very quiet from Sunday to Monday.

Loved the area the Caribbean side is my favorite in Costa Rica! Stayed at the room next to the restaurant. Could hear people talking even when music stopped. I just had to play my own music louder:-)

The room had good facilities, kitchen, shower, sofa, shelves, comfy bed. air con, veranda. I used thier resturant which was very good. The room was a bit basic in construction and a bit noisy being right next to the resturant and other rooms.- however only until 10pm then it was quiet.
- Dal28dal (9/5): Nice stay near the town. - Location was very good. About a 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants in town. I was in the first room by the restaurant that was loud. The first 2 nights the music went off 10:30-11. The owner asked the restaurant not to be so loud and the 3rd night was better, but I could still hear the conversations in the restaurant until after it closed at 10pm. I also don't think the room was overpriced for what I paid.

- Kelly (9/5): Great location and nice hosts - I loved my stay here - the location is great, room was spacious, hosts are lovely. The non potable water took a bit of getting used to, but they have big bottles you can purchase cheaply.
