• Nathan (5/5): With some more effort from the owners this could be a nice place, but hits the mark as of now. - Location was great. The land was nice. Bedroom was okay. Quiet. My room appeared to not be cleaned since the last person— female hygiene items in the trash, items in the drawers, made me question if the bedding was clean. Noticable dust around the room. Light had to be on for the TV to stay on as they ran on the same electrical line so it was hard to relax. Expected to pay extra deposit for a key. Shared bathroom so the gentleman left urine on the floor and his stuff everywhere. There was a sign saying don't put toilet paper in the toilet so there was a trash can full of sh*t. Unsanitary and unacceptable. Gross. No breakfast so this B&B was just a B.

• Veerapen (9/5): Great Escape from City Life - The quietness and cleanliness of the place. If you are looking for a break from the city for a weekend. This is the place. No control over the thermostat. We felt a bit cold at night but it was manageable.

Le lit était super grand et très confortable. La chambre et les sanitaires étaient tout à fait propres. Super séjour !

• Natalie (8/5): Beautiful property, comfortable beds and adorable kitty. - It’s a beautiful location. Away from town and serene and quiet. It’s a little noisy - you can hear the people beside you and above you fairly easily. But nothing too bad. Similar to a hotel.

The20 dollars to secure our room and get a key. The floor of the bathroom was very slippery and I had a fall because there were no handles to get out of the high bathtub.

• Andreas (9/5): Großes Apartment in ruhiger Lage, aber nicht weit von der Stadt (Calgary) - Großzügiges Apartment im Erdgeschoss mit eigenem Eingang (Bild), großes Wohnzimmer, Kochmöglichkeit, Kühlschrank. Frühstück gab es nicht (kein B&B!), aber reichlich frische Eier direkt von den Hühnern im Garten. Ruhige Lage, trotzdem nicht weit von der Stadt (Calgary). Kein B&B im eigentlichen Sinne.

• Andree (1/5): - Nothing. When we arrived the owner didn't seem to know that we had a reservation. When she showed us the room it was dirty and unprepared. The toilet was used and unflushed! When she saw the toilet, she was surprised, so she flushed it herself. Hair was all over the place. The kitchen was dirty with very limited kitchenware. The room was dirty with several files in it. The BBQ was dirty and covered with a thick layer of dust. Instead of excusing and asking us to wait until she cleans the place, the owner shrugged it off and asked us to use the place as it was! We finally decided not to stay there and rented a hotel near Calgary. This is totally unacceptable! Booking.com must address this so that other unsuspected tourists don't get ripped off and have to go through the stress of finding another place to stay at the last minute. Horrible experience!

Multi-bedroom independent suite, lots of space for work trucks. The owner is gentle and respectful, the mattress was so comfortable, great place to stay.

• Varty (10/5): Very comfortable over night with all the amenities you need. - The owners were friendly and accomodating. The place had more room then I expected. Quiet neigborhood and good access to highways as well as restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed the leather couch and big screen TV to watch a moving in the evening. Would definitely stay there again. Honestly, no complaints at all.

The bathroom was not clean, multiple used soap bars n the shower , dirty vanity mirror and the kitchen was not clean to our standards. One can not expect us to clean a bathroom upon arrival.

• Colleen (10/5): Paradise quiet getaway - Serene, peaceful. Hosts are so lovely. Beautiful treed property you can sit outside and read or a hammock to just let go. Room was incredibly comfortable and quiet so I could work on my laptop. So nice you can do laundry and prepare meals in a basic kitchen area.

• Cristina (8/5): Good for a relaxing stay, but too far from Calgary and no services. - The property was big and clean, private rooms and common areas. It was too far from downtown Calgary and it wasn't a bed and breakfast, just a bed. They had a kitchen but only for cooking for ourselves.

• Daria (9/5): - We stayed there only for 1 night, but it was great, location is beautiful and close enough to the national parks and mountains. Place matched our expectations and was neat and cozy. It's a perfect place for weekend getaway, it's nice and quiet. Homeowners are friendly and helpful. Overall we had pleasant stay and if we ever in the area again will definitely pick that place) Room was modest and clean, but it didn't have TV, so i'd recommend to bring a laptop. Bathroom, sauna and kitchen are shared with other renters, so if you aren't okay with that i would recommend look for smth else

• DevonDMoch (3/5): Would not stay again. - The location was nice enough. The price was great, especially considering we stayed during the Calgary Stampede. There was no air conditioning in the room. To be fair I did not check to confirm if there was air conditioning, but I thought that air conditioning would be expected considering we had mid to high 30's temperatures in the forecast. The lack of air conditioning made it almost unbearable to be in the room and resulted in me getting very little sleep during our stay. Also, the hosts have a rule that you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilet. Did not see any mention of this until my wife looked deeper into other reviews. They have a small garbage can in the washroom and you are to put your toilet paper in it. This is also a shared washroom. As a result of this rule, my wife and I found ourselves choosing to make certain that we did our washroom business elsewhere, such as restaurant washrooms and such. The room had quite a few insects, which may have mostly gotten in through the window screen, we had to keep the window open to at least attempt to cool the room down. Also, there were a number of stains on the sheets, pillow cases, etcetera.

• Bruce (8/5): This room has a great, quiet, location with responsive owners. - It is located in a quiet community. The area for travellers is spacious. One is not simply locked in a bedroom. The communal space is dedicated for guests as the family lives on the top level. The main level is for guests. It has a kitchen and a living room. The location was ideal for this trip as I wanted to be close to Calgary and Cochrane. The coded entry hardware to the house was iffy and did not consistently open. The room door lock required some jiggling the handle to lock from inside. It could use repair or replacement. The information provided in the room for wifi code is on a page where the code is printed with red on a blue background. I did not see it so it required a call for help. It would be nice if the TV in the living room had real cable stations.

• Dumitru (7/5): An ok place to stay overnight, there is no breakfast. - It was a good loocation, 10 min from the city, and is located on the way to Canmore. Beds are ok. Bathroom is new and is clean. They have hens that lay eggs, it was nice to see them and to know eggs are organinc. It is not Bed and Breakfast. It is only Bed. Brekfast mean they serve you breakfast, but i was offered to cook myself eggs, other than that, the fridge was empty. We went in summer and duvey were for winter so it was a bit hot during night sleep.

No coffee maker. I especially didn’t like the note in the bathroom stating “please do not flush toilet paper… use the waste bin”… c’mon, really?
